I Can't Think Straight

"I don't understand. you said that you never let your walls down" I looked at him with confusion.

"Damian?.." He looked at me for a split second and then left, I watched as he went back inside. Has Damian been like this the whole time? I thought he's always hated me. I never thought that he would like me enough to actually want to be with me...

What am I going to do, I have one guy who wants to marry me because that's what everyone expects, and then I have a guy who wants to be with me because he's felt something for me for a long time apparently. I am so confused...

**2 Hours Later**

I had completely pushed aside the thought of Damian and Nick for the time being. Mostly because if I kept thinking about it over and over again, I am afraid my head would have exploded. Anyways, I was in my bedroom at this time waiting for ash to return home with robin. They both went out to shop for food items. But knowing Robin she went to the weapons depo as well and bought some new gear just like she always does. That is why ash likes to go shopping alone, but Robin insisted on going with him today. So I keep getting text messages from both of them, the most frequent one I received was: "I can't take her anymore!" "He's your best friend why can he be nicer to me too!" "Can you take back the thing you brought into my life please?"

So yes most of them are from Ash because he couldn't take her anymore. It made me laugh, but he agreed to take her. So it is his fault for saying yes. A few hours have passed and well my phone is silent, no one has texted me with complaints or being upset. Which is a bad thing because they could either be killing each other or worse Ash lost Robin. After a while of me sitting here and contemplating what to do, I get up and go outside to the training grounds. While walking around I felt a weird presence. I looked around and then I noticed the bushes have been messed with as if someone was in them. And the last time I checked Damian only hung around the windows and then cut down the bushes and hedges. I got closer to them to see if anyone was in them. Once I looked there was no one and nothing there.

Not sure what is going on here but I don't like what I am feeling right now. I head back inside quickly. I went to open the door something flew by my face and onto the door keeping it closed. I tried to open it without breaking it. I turned around to see who was there but when I turned there was no one.

Someone jumps behind me from the roof. I turn to face them and there stood Jade Nguyen. The sister of Artemis Crock, Jade is best known as Cheshire. She was once an all to the Sportsmaster. He is also known as Lawrence Crock, The father of Jade Nguyen and Artemis Crock. I look her in the eyes and grind. "What are you doing here Jade?" She looked at me. I am not sure why she is here but she looks determined. "Jade are you going to answer me or are we going to have the most awkward staring contest?"

She sighs and sits down on the concrete wall the was on my left. She was looking down at the time, but then she looks up at me. "I need your help, I know that I said back then that I would never ask for it again. But I really need your help this time." She was upset, she looked like her life was turned upside down. "Jade, what happened?" She holds her head, " Artemis and Lian are missing, I don't know where they are or who they are with. They were with Roy but Roy says he hasn't seen them in weeks. I was on a mission that I can't talk about. Just please help me."

I've never seen Jade so vulnerable before. Normally she is uptight and doesn't show her emotions. This feels extremely weird. "I'll help you, I just need more on what happened I can't just go off of that they are missing." She sighed, "Okay?" She gets off of the concrete wall, then grabs the dagger off the door. "When are we able to start looking?" I looked her in the eye, "We will start once I get all of my things together. Just give me a day or two, I will send a signal for when you should return."

Jade leaves the yard and jumps over the large wall that Damian is always trying to hurdle over. She went over without any problem. Maybe it is only designed for Damian to not get over it. Oh well, I guess it will be a mystery for me. I walked back into the house and go back to my room. I sit down on my bed and wait till someone comes home. I then realize that I need to get my things together so I can helo Jade out.

So I get up and then walk over to the closet and open it. Knowing Damian and Robin there is a door or a secret place in this room or closet that has weapons and other things. All I got to do is find out where it is. I sit in the middle of the closet and looked around the closet for something. Not sure what but I will find it. I sighed and just sat there.

**3 hours later**

I started to hear voices on the bottom floor of the mansion. So I got up and walked down the stairs to see if someone was there. I looked around from the spot on the stairs but I didn't see anyone. From where I was, maybe if I walked farther away from the stairs ill find someone. I left the stairs and moved over to the window on my left. I looked outside and there were two cars, They weren't Bruce's cars or my dad's. So who at the mansion? Should I make a run for it?
