After the Explosion

The smoke started to rise off of the ground, you could finally see. Jack had been holding Mazikeen; he looked around to find a place to hide her. He wanted to check on other people but make sure that she is safe. He sees the ally that wasn't touched by the distraction, he took her over there and took his jacket off then puts it on top of her. Jack ran over to the other people who were in the explosion. He still had a slight ringing in his ears but he could hear them breathing. He helped them all move to a safer location, he saw something in the sky. It looked like a flying girl in a black and purple suit, the girl had blonde hair, she was flying over the town and around her were flouting rocks all different sizes. He rubbed his eyes to get a better look at her but then she disappeared when he looked back up to the sky. Jack thought he was seeing things. He walked over to Mazikeen to check on her.

Mazikeen was slowly waking up, brought her hands to her face and held her head. "oh god, wh.. what happened?" She looked up to Jack, she had a few scratches on her face and ashes in her hair. Jack crouched down to her, "There was an explosion over at the building from across the street". He seemed to be figuring things out. Mazikeen sat up, "What caused this?" Jack looked at her with confusion, "I'm not sure but I think, well I thought I saw, a girl. I'm in the sky, you know flying over the village." Mazikeen knew exactly who he was talking about, it was Francesca, she had been upset with Mazikeen lately because she too Jack away from her, well Francesca wanted to speak to Jack but Mazikeen just happened to meet him first.

Mazikeen got up slowly and looked around, "Hey Jack there is a little boy over there that is hurt go check on him and I'll go check for other people that are hurt" Jack went over to the little boy, and Mazikeen went behind a building and then shifted into her outfit it was red and blue. Her skirt was red and her shirt was blue, a cape also appeared and it was red with gold lining on it. Her hair changed from Black to blonde in an instant. Then her green eyes turned silver and she flew into the air and started transportation people to the hospital. Jack saw her up in the sky but had no clue that she was. He was drawn to her.
