We spend time like that until the headmaster shows up. Seeing us, he asked, "ready?"

"Yes," Paula said.

I only nodded. Seeing it, the headmaster said, "Let's go."

"Ok," we said, and after getting up, we started following him. After coming out, I looked at the headmaster.

"I am here," the maths teacher who took us yesterday said. Hearing it, I looked at him, and he said, "Evans ninety percent. Smith one hundred."

"Ok."

"Might I know where I made a mistake?" Paula asked. Hearing it, he nodded and passed our tests.

Seeing them, I smiled, and the headmaster said, "You will check after being in the car. Come, we need to go."

Hearing it, I nodded. Paula looked at me, and when she nodded, we started walking after him and the maths teacher.

After coming there, I sat at the back. I let Paula choose where she wanted to sit.

After being there, I could see that Paula had checked her papers. Seeing it, I monitored her and started explaining where she made a mistake.

As I kept doing it, she nodded. I could see her eyes on me.

"Smith. You should win it."

"I will. If they do not give any tricky ones. I should," I said. Hearing me, the teacher nodded. Seeing it, I smiled and looked outside.

It could be a pleasant time before I am fully focused.

As I kept looking there, I could hear "when we will come there. Be ready."

"Ok," we said. Hearing it, I smiled, and not long after, we showed up.

Seeing it, I shook my head. The last time I came here was over six years ago.

As I kept looking at the building, I could hear, "so we are here. Be ready."

"Yes," Paula said. I only nodded. Hearing it, the headmaster parked, and we came out.

Looking around, I could see that many people came.

Knowing it, I looked at Paula. Seeing my look, she said, "So the entire country had come."

"Yes. Best of best. Probably one hundred twenty. Maybe a little less."

"So many people," I said. Hearing me, the teacher said, "Much more staff to check it. We will know all today."

"Oh great. I will know what place I will be," Paula said. Hearing it, I shook my head.

Seeing my look, Paula smiled, and she said, "So let go."

Hearing it, we started walking inside.

I could see that many people kept looking at us.

"So come the winner. She will win this."

"Yes. We should be ready to be second."

"Who is he?"

Same talks all around. Hearing it, at one point, I could hear a laugh.

"We know who will be first. Paula Evans will not be first," someone said.

Hearing it, I looked at the point where it came from.

Hearing it, I could see a student adding, "Jack, I hope you will go easy on us."

"No," I said. I recognised him.

Seeing his look, he added, "You might not remember me. Your ban comes down?"

"Yes."

"Great," he said. Hearing it, I looked at the headmaster. He knows about what he asked.

I could hear the word ban going all around.

Hearing it, I smiled, and I could see someone coming out. Seeing an older man who I do not know who he is. He said, "someone said that one student from here was banned."

"Yes, I was," I said. Hearing me, he looked into my eyes and said, "You will take part."

"Yes."

"You can go now," he said. Hearing it, the headmaster said, "Mister Clark. You understood this bad."

"He was banned, so?" he started saying and looked at me.

"Clark, like always, you go without asking without knowing the full truth," someone's voice came.

Hearing it, I looked at the person coming, and he asked, "Might I know why?"

"Oh, I won one competition. So it banned me for five years from taking part," I said. Hearing me, mister Clark looked into my eyes.

Seeing it, he asked, "name."

"Jack Smith," I said.

"Wait. You mean a child who won six years old?"

"Yes. Same person. So I might take part," I asked. Hearing me, he nodded.

Seeing it, I smiled. As he looked at me, he added louder, "we will end this. Please be prepared. In twenty minutes, we will let my name come in."

Hearing it, I looked at them and walked away. Seeing it, the headmaster said, "So, Smith, we should now know who will win."

"Yes. I hope so."

Hearing me, he nodded and said, "We will go back to the car. To bring all that you will need."

"Ok," the maths teacher said, and they walked away. Seeing it, I looked at Paula, and she said, "What a ban."

"Oh, I won one maths competition. Therefore, they banned me for five years. To let someone else win," I said.

Hearing me, she nodded. Seeing this look, I opened my backpack, and as I looked at the chocolate bar, I asked, "You want one," while taking it.

Hearing me, she nodded and took it. Seeing it, I smiled and continued, "This ban should be until I go to uni. They didn't think that it would end a year ago."

"Oh, someone else knows this from school."

"Maybe. I had this in my papers when I applied," I said. Hearing me, Paula nodded, and after taking a bite, she continued, "I will need to know more."

"Oh."

Only escaped from my lips. I could see that everyone was monitoring us. Seeing it, I took my phone and searched for an article about this. After finding it, I show it to Paula.

When she was done eating, she smiled and read it. While she kept doing it, the headmaster and teacher came back.

Seeing it, I smiled, and he said, "You will need to leave it all here."

"Ok. Paula hides your bag in my backpack. This should be enough," I said.

"I will only take my ID," she said. Hearing it, I nodded, and after taking mine too, I hid all that I had in my pockets. When I did this, she said, "Oh right. We will leave this in a good place."

"Oh."

"I will go out for a second. To leave it all," Paula said while taking my backpack. Seeing it, the headmaster nodded.

When Paula walked out, I smiled and took from the headmaster water and three pens.

While having it, I smiled. Not long after, Paula showed up. Seeing her, she smiled and took the same.

As we keep waiting for the last use of the bathroom, come. After ending it all, I smiled, and slowly everyone started coming in.

As we keep going in by surnames Paula, come inside much earlier.

Seeing it, I took a little deeper breath and started waiting.

When finally my turn had come. I smiled and showed it all.

After doing it, I drew my seat and walked inside.

Looking at the number there. I looked at where I would be sitting.

Seeing it, I found my place. After taking water and pens out, I took my jacket off.

Good that I have short sleeves.

When I looked at it, I smiled and kept waiting for everyone to come in.

Looking there once again, I checked if I took it all out.

When I smiled, not long after, papers started being given.

Seeing it, I waited to open it.

As my ID was on my side, I smiled, and everyone received it. I keep listening to the rules, and not long after, it all began.

We have two hundred minutes to end it all.

Knowing it, I looked around, and when I opened it. I started doing it all.

No idea when, but at one point, I looked up. Seeing someone close to me with perfumes so strong. I cannot take it.

Looking at the woman looked into my eyes.

Seeing her look, she moved my paper.

Her expression changes.

Seeing it, I moved back to looking into paper and came back to do it all.

As I kept doing it, I checked everything.

A few times, I could hear calculators working.

I do not have one with me.

I keep counting all over my head. After ending it, all. I could finally take a deeper breath.

Seeing that forty minutes left, I could check all.

Just in case, I have made no stupid mistakes.

As I kept checking, I had done it.

All is done. How it should be.

Seeing it, I moved my hand up. Seeing one person coming in, he looked at me.

"I want to give it back."

"You still have time. Try to do more," he said.

"I did this," I said. Everyone stopped writing.

Hearing me, he looked at me and checked everything. Seeing it, he nodded and said, "Ok. You can go out."

"Thank you," I said. Hearing me, he nodded, and after taking it all with me back. I tried to be as quiet as possible.

When I had all, I finally came out. I could see some looking at me.
