Don't think about this

I looked at them coming.

I could see that mommy was angry. Daddy too, but a little less. Seeing them, Joanna said, "mommy, daddy."

"Joanna sits," mommy said.

Hearing her voice, I looked at her. For the first time, she said that to us.

Even when some of us caused problems. She never talked like that.

"Ok," Jo said, and she sat. Seeing her look, I asked, "Why did you come here?"

"Oh, you don't know," mommy said, and daddy's voice came, "honey. Calm down."

"No. I will not. What they are thinking," mommy said.

Hearing her words, I looked at her.

What she has on her mind. As I kept looking at her, daddy said, "Honey. Sit. Let's talk with them."

"But," mommy started saying, but seeing daddy look, she nodded.

After they sat, daddy said, "Joanna."

"Yes," Jo said. Hearing it, I looked at them. Seeing daddy taking out his phone, he did something there.

Maybe it is based on Jo Company.

Not Jack.

With this on my mind, I looked at them.

"What is this?" he said while turning his phone.

I could see today's photo with us. Joanna hugged him.

I know she talked to him.

Seeing it, I looked at them.

"Dad," Joanna started saying, but dad's look stopped her.

Seeing it. I smiled and said, "What is this about?"

"You should know. Megan," mommy said. Hearing it, I looked at her. I do not have any idea what I can say.

Seeing her look at me.

As I looked at everything, daddy started showing photos. Mostly Joanna and Sophia.

All with Jack. Good, that his face is not shown here. Seeing them, mommy said, "I know he is here."

"What?" I asked.

"Don't lie. I know everything. Here are photos of him in previous days," daddy said, and he started showing all.

When I kept looking at it, I did not know that this had happened. Seeing it, mommy said, "now. I know he is here. Bring him. I want to talk to him. Face to face."

"But" once again, Joanna started saying. Seeing it, daddy said, "You have ten seconds. I will count."

"Ok, I will go," I said. Seeing it, daddy nodded, and I looked upstairs.

Jack POV

I could hear that something was happening. After the first seconds, I hide.

Good, that Sophia has a lot of space here. So maybe all will be good. While thinking about this, I could not hear all the talks. Which are ongoing?

As I kept looking from my place, I could see Joanna walking up.

Seeing her, she took her phone and text messaged. Seeing it, I checked my phone and could see, 'come.'

Seeing it, I came out, and when she looked at me, she said, "We need to go. I never thought that this would happen so early."

"Oh, come on," I started saying, and she looked down.

Seeing her texting once again to someone, I monitor her. When Megan had done this, she smiled and said, "Mask."

"Oh," I said, and when I took it from my pocket, she said, "put it on."

"Ok."

When she looked at me, I put it on. While having it, Megan put a hoodie on. Seeing it, she said, "Let's go."

"Ok," I said, and I followed her.

I could see everyone there. On one side were, Joanna and Sophia. On another, my actual parents.

Seeing them, my mind slowly started becoming blank.

No idea. What might have happened?

Will they accept me?

As I looked at them, I could see dad saying, "sit."

"Ok," I said, and when I sat in an empty place. Joanna moved closer to me. Seeing it, I looked into her eyes.

I wanted to say it, but mom said, "So as I thought."

"What now?" Joanna said.

"You are together," mom said. Hearing it, I shook my head.

"No, we aren't," Joanna started saying, but mom said, "Why are you trying to hug him? What is your name?"

"Jack Smith," I said. When she heard me, she said, "I don't know anyone who has this surname."

"Me too, honey," dad said, and I could see that Joanna wanted to say something.

Seeing her look, mom said, "So now you are quiet. I can see you are together. Sophia accepted you. This is hard to achieve."

"Mommy," Sophia started saying, but mom's hand stopped her. Seeing it, I looked at her, and mom said, "When?"

"What?" Joanna asked.

"When the time will come," mom said. I could see that Joanna probably realised what mom wants to say, and she said, "No never. Mommy, don't think about this."

"Why are you so close to him? If not, we can take him away," dad said.

"No. Don't let Jack go away," Joanna said.

"So something is happening," mom said.

Hearing her words, I looked at her. I could see Megan looking at me. Seeing it, she smiled and said, "Ok. We will tell you all. Now be ready."

"I am," mom said, and as I looked at dad who nodded, I wanted to know what Megan wants to say now.
