Can you come to the headmaster's office?

Jack POV

After coming to school, I looked at JJ and said, "Thanks."

"No problem."

Hearing his words, I nodded, and while taking coffee, I came out, and after walking inside, I changed and walked to the classroom. While seeing that the first lesson is still ongoing.

I sat while ending my coffee. When I had done this, I kept thinking about what Megan had done.

While doing it, a bell rang.

Hearing it, I finished my coffee and while leaving an empty paper glass on the side. I started waiting for the next lesson to begin.

Today there are much more people than previously. Knowing it, I looked down. While hearing Paula's voice, I looked at her. Seeing me, she smiled, and I did the same and looked back down.

When I had done this, I kept waiting, and not long after, the lesson began.

Time passed, and lunch break came. Knowing it, I smiled, and when I came too close to the next classroom, I sat and wanted to start eating. Before I could, did the speaker say, "Jack Smith comes to the headmaster's office!"

Hearing it, I shook my head. After packing everything, I walked to the headmaster's office. While seeing the headmaster there, he looked at me and said, "Smith."

"Yes."

"Why weren't you in the first lesson?" he asked.

"I had stomach problems," I lied. Hearing me, the headmaster nodded and said, "Complaint come about you."

"Once again. Who?" I said. Hearing me, the headmaster looked into my eyes and said, "English teacher."

"Oh, so he wants me to be suspended or what? Probably to not finish school."

"Smith, do not say something like that," the headmaster said.

"Oh, what I can say? I can see that he is targeting me. I have no name and nobody to back me up so," I started saying, and as the English teacher came in he looked at me and said, "Here is all about his cheating."

"Oh, what now?" I said. As the headmaster looked at me, I said, "Based on what?"

"Cheating. Look at you," the teacher said while pointing to what I wrote and some screenshots from the net. Seeing it, I could see that we had only one or two similar sentences. Seeing it, I shook my head. What is the meaning of this?

As the teacher looked at me, the headmaster said, "Wait."

"Oh, so you are targeting me now fully. Nice," I said. Hearing me, the teacher looked into my eyes and took out more. Seeing someone test, he said, "See you. Same."

"Who are they?" the headmaster asked.

"Paula Evans."

Hearing it, I took the phone, and after choosing Paula's number, I called her. When she answered, she said, "Something is happening."

"Can you come to the headmaster's office?" I asked.

"Got it," she said, and after I hung out, the headmaster said, "To whom you called."

"Paula Evans. I want her to be here. As probably someone will not believe my words," I said. Hearing me, the headmaster nodded, and not long after, the knock came.

As Paula showed up, she looked at us and said, "Something is happening."

"Yes. Do you remember in December when I helped you with an essay?" I asked.

"Yes," she said.

"So you followed all that I told you," I asked, and as Paula nodded, the English teacher said, "Wait."

"Yes. I wrote a few times what you said. Some problems with this" Paula asked. Hearing her words, I nodded and said, "So do we know all? I would like to come back to eat lunch."

"You need to stay here," the teacher said. Hearing it, I looked at Paula. Seeing my look, she shook her head and said, "I said what had happened. Why are you doing it?"

"Not your business," he said. Hearing it, I looked at him. Seeing my look, Paula said, "Someone is backing him."

"I can see," I said. Hearing us, the headmaster said, "So once again, something like that is happening. What is happening?"

"Can we go now?" I asked once again. Hearing me, the headmaster nodded and said, "Where you will be."

"Oh, close to the classroom eating my lunch," I said while taking the box out with food. Seeing it, the headmaster nodded and said, "You know you can go to the canteen to eat."

"If I can. Once I went there, and was kicked out," I said. A few seconds later, I added, "Oh right, suspended too."

"Jack," Paula said. Hearing her words, I said, "What. I am telling the truth. Soon in spring, I cannot come out, as it will be against the rules. Everyone will be outside, but not me. Tell me, is there something good?"

"Jack," Paula said once again. Hearing her, I smiled, and as I looked at the teacher, I said, "You will be seeing me for the next few months. After this, all will be ok, and you can enjoy who is backing you."

Hearing me, he said, "What did you say?"

"So is this mayor?" I asked. As he moved a little, I added, "So I said, right."

"Smith, what are you saying?" the headmaster said. Hearing his words, I shook my head, and as my phone started ringing, I looked at it and said, "I need to answer this."

"Ok. Just don't go out, "the headmaster said. Hearing his words, I nodded, and after answering, I said, "Yes."

"Jack, can we talk?" Mom's voice came.

"Oh no. I am at the headmaster's office. Some things show up. I will call after school," I said.

"Ok. We need to have a long talk soon," Mom said. Hearing it, I smiled and said, "Got it. I will hang out."

After saying it, Mom added, "Why are you at the headmaster's office?"

"Oh, English teacher, trying to prove that I cheated during homework. Nothing more. Oh, wait for two tests at school. As he keeps looking at me completely, I am the only one at fault. Rest keep using phones, and I cheated."

"Jack. We can go there," Mom said.

"Just don't. I will handle it. How I was before," I said and hung out. After doing it, I turned, and as the headmaster looked at me, he said, "Can you proof."

"CCTV in the classroom. This is the easiest way to prove what I said. Something more or more based on only a few similar sentences. I need to spend time here," I asked.

"You can go. This is nothing serious," he said. Hearing his words, I nodded, and after coming out. Paula looked at me. Seeing her look, I said, "Go eat."

"Ok. I hope Lucy bought what I wanted," she said and walked away. Seeing it, I nodded, and after coming to my place, I sat and started eating. While doing it, I was just done as the bell rang. Seeing it, once again, lessons began.

While lessons keep on going, the headmaster comes in. Seeing him, he said, "Smith, come."

"Ok," I said, and after getting up. I walked after him. When I came out, I walked after him.

Looking at his face, he said, "I had no idea that he could call them."

"Who?" I asked.

"Department of education," the headmaster said. Hearing his words, I nodded, and as we came in, I looked at the woman.

Seeing me, she said, "So he cheated."

"Based on what comes to you, yes. To tell the truth. This is not enough," the headmaster said. Hearing his words, she said, "You will be suspended, and the possibility of being kicked out of school."

Hearing her words, I looked into her eyes. Seeing it, I nodded and said, "Ok."

After turning, the headmaster said, "Smith."

"Everyone is against me. What can I do?" I said, and after coming out. I tried to fight my emotions. As I sat, I took the phone and called Mom. When she answered, she said, "Jack, something is happening."

"Many things. You remember what I told you about what had happened," I started saying.

"Yes. Something serious," she asked.

"Oh, they can kick me out based on a few sentences. It is probably the work of someone from the back. Someone fully targeted it at me," I said.

"Got it. We will send someone there," she said.

"Oh, Sophia should come. She knows it all," I said.

"I wanted to call her and someone else," Mom said. Hearing her, I said nothing, and she continued, "Stay there."

"Ok," I said, and when I hang out. I keep being like that. I could hear the headmaster talking with a woman there.

He is arguing with me.

Good that he finally can see something.

Something. This is a good point. While I kept being like that, I could see Sophia. Seeing her look, she said, "I will deal with it all soon."

"How?" I asked.

"Oh, mister. Good, that you have come here," Sophia said. Hearing it, a man in his mid-fifties looked at Sophia and said, "So all here."

"Yes. Jack, calm down. We will go inside," she said. Hearing her words, I nodded, and as I got up, I could see that he did not even knock. As he came inside, the woman said, "Boss."

"You are using your power for your good," he said while looking into her eyes. Seeing her look, she said, "I keep following what is happening."

"Oh, you want one of the best math geniuses which our country has seen kicked from school based on only a few similar sentences? I should have truly fired you years before," he said while coming closer.

As he looked at me, he said, "I am so sorry about this. This is for sure too harsh. I will deal with this all."

"No problem. I just want to end school peacefully without any problems," I said.

"I will check something more too," he said while looking at the headmaster. Seeing this look, I said, "Can I go out?"

"Oh yes. You can."

"Thank you," I said, and after coming out, Sophia came out and said, "You are free for the rest of the lessons. So let's go."

"Ok," I said, and as she smiled, we walked slowly out. While outside, she said, "We are going to meet Mommy."

"Ok," I said, and after coming outside, we came to her car, and she started driving. Seeing it, I texted Paula. 'all is good. I will not come back to lessons. Can we meet later?'

After sending it, I know that she cannot answer right away, so I hid the phone and looked outside. Waiting for us to come where Sophia is driving.
