1 Shock

My name is Jay Alcross and this is how my life is not supposed to be. Fate is really toying with me, however, I don't hate this development of myself. Well. see it for yourselves, how the Lost Alchemy fell into the right or maybe the wrong person, which is me.

Just right before school was about to end, I happen to be sitting right beside the window.

"I hope something not great would happen today." I spaced out while staring outside the window.

"Hm? What did you say, Jay?" Someone asks. "Oh nothing, just talking to myself." I replied, "Oh did you hear the news last night, Tim?" I asked. "Oh you mean about that large pile of Gold stones near the pacific coast?" he guessed, "That was really something you wouldn't see every day though", I respond.

Somehow, near the coast of the Pacific, a pile of Golden stones was found. It was no joke, it really was gold according to the news. It also stated that it just appeared out of nowhere when a fisherman caught up to it. The pile of Gold was about 406 tons and it's quite a number, afterwards the discovery they immediately transported the gold to a bank vault near the area and will be processed further.

"Wow, I mean, that large of gold I could buy a lot of stuff, like video games of some sorts." Tim blurted. "I mean, yeah, I would like to replace my old computer though," I added.

As the school bell chimed, we immediately pack our stuff in preparation to leave. Before I left, I wanted to close the window but as I was closing it a small shiny metal caught my eye on the floor that I was looking at below, "What could that be?" I thought.

As soon as I got to the ground floor after saying goodbyes to my friends, I got a closer look at the shiny object on the ground. As I was picking it up with my right hand, I had a strange feeling, like some weird air just passes on my whole body. Still, I grabbed the shiny small object on the ground.

"A ring?"

A shiny gold ring, "Did someone drop it?" I took a closer look and to found out that there was mysterious symbols inside, a combination of unreadable letters and hieroglyphs, "I wonder who drop it?".

I decided to just go straight home and deliver the ring to the police by tomorrow as a lost and found item, "Hm? Wait? Is this ring, like expensive?" I thought. Considering the value of this accessory, I guess that it would be really expensive, so I decided to sell it to a pawnshop tomorrow.

After a 30-minute walk, I finally got home. "Fren, I'm back" I called out, "Oh, big bro, welcome back" she replied.

"You're late, that's unusual?" she asks. "Ah, I couldn't see any ride back home, trains stopped working they said." I replied. I proceeded upstairs to take off my uniform and have dinner, since its already dinner time.

I changed into a normal shirt that has a "SADIST" print design on it and also whore normal pants. "I smell steak though" I shouted across the living room, "Yeah, mom left it for us and said to just prepare it however we like" she responds. Our parents are away on a business trip apparently, though they always are leaving me and Fren always home alone.

"My precious little sister, it seems you underestimated the power of siblings. Even if you and I were left in the world, I would be more happy than any dead man out there." I said it in a speech-style. "Stop it, its disgusting" she laughed and brushed it off. Then, had dinner with just the both of us.

"That was a good bath" I feel relaxed after taking a long bath, "Hm?" I took the golden ring from my bag and inspected it for a bit, "It really is pretty shiny even in the dark," I thought. I wonder what materials they were made of and tried to look at it as much as possible.

"Well..." I tried to put the ring on my ring finger to see what it looks like if worn, however, "Huh? It won't fit?" the ring was small in size against my ring finger. I started using force, "Damn, this... is... really... ghhhh! Oh!" somehow it fitted, but something strange happened before I put it on, "What was that just now?" I thought.

"Wow, so this is what it looks like when worn" I had a very elegant feeling when it was in my finger. It felt extravagant, like a rich person would feel. "I wonder who drop this precious ge- Ouch!" before I could finish complimenting, a sudden electric shock from my ring finger really felt tingly that I almost screamed.

"Ow!" the electric shock just continuously electrocuted my right hand, I tried to pull it off but it was tad difficult. A few minutes after being electrocuted by the ring, It stopped. I panted heavily as I try to keep myself from sweating, because I just came out of the bath.

"Sheesh, that was really annoying" I pulled out the ring and miraculously it was easily out of my finger, "What the heck?" As soon as I tried to put the ring on the table right besides my bed, I suddenly felt a strong urge in my body making me dizzy, "Huh- wha-?"'

My vision got all blurry and suddenly I fell on my knees. I slowly crawled to my bed to calm down, but as soon as I grab my blanket, I lost consciousness

On the same night...

"Yes, it seems that I found its location and by the next sun rise, I will immediately pick it up... Yes... I understand... As you wish, Grandmaster." A tall mysterious figure wearing a hooded robe above a tall building was standing still while speaking to someone.

"What a mess, I hope this person won't get any trouble with the Jesters." After a few words from this mysterious person, it vanished in thin air.

...

"Ah!" I suddenly awoken from my sleep, "Oh, its already morning" The sun was already up before I knew it. "Ugh, I don't feel so good" I said, I'm feeling a bit out of place at the moment and my head hurts.

"Hm?" I see something very weird in the corner of the room, but I can't get a clear vision. I rubbed my eyes to see it more clearly and to found out it was something I never see in my life, "Waaaahhh!!!" I see a Dragon's head in the corner of my room, a colorful dragon which is shining intensely. I immediately stand up to ran away, but the dragon's head rammed towards me while opening its mouth, "AHHHHH!" I closed my eyes and shielded myself with my arms.

"Hm?" However, I was fine...? I never felt any pain, but a gust of wind pass by through me. I slowly open my eyes to see what happened. "It's... gone?" It disappeared, I immediately looked back and see more mysterious creatures lurking in my room, "What the hell is this?" I panicked and slowly went out of my room and ran downstairs to outside of my house.

"Yes, it seems that we found him, The Lost Alchemist." a mysterious figure above the electrical pole is suspiciously watching me, while I scream in fear outside.
