Jenny left the college premises and boarded a car back home. Reaching her apartment premises, she went up the stairs to release some frustration and made her way to her apartment to rest. Opening the door, she threw her bag on the couchand headed to the kitchen however, she was startled shitless when she found James in her kitchen with her pink apron wrapped around his toned muscled body looking all handsome and homely.

'Wait, how's he here?' "What are you doing here?!" she asked with a hard glare making her way to the fridge to get water.

"I invited myself over to keep you company!" he smiled sheepishly and went back to adding salt to the stew. It had a mouth watering aroma that Jenny's stomach grumbled loudly which James concealed with a cough.

Not letting her embarrassment get to her. "I'm fine on my own and by the way, where did you get the keys to my apartment?" she asked as she watched him closely.

Turning to her, he grinned. "I broke in!"

'I really want to crush you.' Jenny fought the urge to smack this man on his face. 'So annoying!!!!'

"Oh, Jenny your back!!" she was startled again and when she turned to the source of the voice her, she saw.... "Liam!"

"Hello!" he greeted shyly.

"Hi?" 'What is he doing here as well? Don't tell me they raided my house! All of them?'

"James I'm done cleaning all the rooms." Liam reported as he went to the sink to do the dishes.

"The laundry is done!" Mike stepped in as well and greeted Jenny and went to take a sit.

"Ok.....wait, what are you all doing in my apartment?!" she asked looking at the three men before her.

"I wanted to see you." James stopped stirring the stew and spoke shamelessly with a pout.

"I believe we are not that close right?!"

"Be thankful Jenny." Travis spoke from the kitchen door way with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Like your doing me a favour, I suppose!!" Jenny spoke sacarstically.

"Something of the sort." Mike spoke and turned to poke Liam who if ored him.

"Travis!"Jason's stern voice erupted in the room making Travis walk out. She looked at Jason who just enteredwhi was dressed in army green shorts and tight t-shirt that articulated his biceps and his eight pack. Snapping from drooling after him, he greeted her with a nod which she curtly returned hiding the fact that she was checking him out.

'Heavens, he looks hotter than hell. What do I do with myself?!'

"We need to talk." Jason spoke looking at James who pot out the fire at the cooker and turned to Jenny.

"Dinner is ready!! Jenny go to your room and shower then return and join us."

"Okay!" She spoke and left the room to her bedroom.

"Did you catch him?!" Jason asked sternly.

"He was a piece of cake. Interrogations shall commence later when we get to the base."

"Make sure he speaks.

"That's what I'm good at!"

Reaching her room, Jenny was amazed at how neat it looked but when she recalled something, how she wished she could dig a hole and hide. She had left her bedroom like a battle zone in the morning but looking at it now, she was sure they had seen her undies and bra's all over the room.

"I'm not going out again,!!!!!"

Twenty minutes later....

"Jenny, you ok? Jenny, the meal is waiting." James called out.

Inside the room, Jenny plugged in her earphones to shut any voice out. Thinking she needed more time to get ready, James left her bedroom door and joined the rest in the kitchen.

"Liam, tell us more."

"Yeah. I noticed there's another guy that kept his eye on Jenny all the time and also, there's Jerome, son to director 2 from the heirs gang."

"Any report from Lucas?" Jason asked as he sipped on water.

"Yes, I'm going to meet him tomorrow at the hospital. And Tracy is getting discharged." his eyes softened at the mention of his little sister.

"Okay, send my regards to her." Jason continued to take his water when his attention was drawn to Jenny's door that slightly opened revealing a half of her head.

"I can do this!" She assured herself. "It's my house and they were the ones that broke in without permission so what ever they saw...." but recalling her bra's and knickers, her confidence shattered and hoped to rush back to her room only to find herself outside, her bedroom door shut and in Jason's arms.

"They didn't see them. I did." He whispered, intention innocent but his words made her redder in embarrassment than she already was, her heart palpitated in her chest wishing maybe it was somebody else. 'Why did it have to be this iceberg and he speaks of it so casually!!!' she whined internally.

"We are supposed to be eating both of you." James spoke as he started to serve the meal. Joining the others, Jenny kept sneaking glances at Jason and would turn red occasionally.

"Sister, why don't you share with us why you become red everytime you look at Jason?!" James teased as he eyed them with a naught expression.

Jenny chocked so hard on her food that she coughed making Jason glare at James and rushing to pat her back and hand her a glass of water. "You ok?"

His cold deep voice rung in her ears making her insides burn with weird feelings. She looked back at him with tear filled eyes and took the glass from him and took small sips. "Don't mind him, ok?" She nodded slightly. "Good girl!" he spoke with a warm voice and ruffled her hair but on realising what he had done, he awkwardly withdrew his hand and dove back to his meal as though nothing had happened.

Mike and Travis too comically chocked on their food to see Jason's reaction towards them but his cold voice rang out. "I can help you choke!" Making the twins gulp hard and return to their meals. Who wanted to be hung upside down and be dipped in tanks of water!!! Choking!!!

After the meal, Jenny decided to ask the reason for their visit but none of them replied to her and only claimed to have come to check up on her and also advised her to visit once in a while. That was all and they headed out.

THE BASE.....

"What do we have?" James spoke as he crossed his legs and waited for his subordinate to report.

"According to our research, he is a grandson of Oldman Goldman. We can't relate their connection with the lady and he refused to talk. All the torture only took a toll on him but he refused to say a word and he won't wake up no matter how we wake him up."

"Fine bring him to room 8, we shall carry out the investigation ourselves." he stood up and a bulk man walked him to room 8.

"Yes sir!"

Room 8

"Did he say anything?" Jason asked.

"Nothing! He tight lipped."

"Its been a while since I last skinned someone alive!" Mike spoke as he checked his Skinner blade.

"We are not doing that Mike!" Travis spoke sternly to control his brother's blood lust that had begun brewing.

Soon, a young slim man was dragged in by two gigantic men. He seemed to have regained his senses because when he was thrown to the ground, he groaned in pain.

"You saved us the trouble of waking you up." James spoke with a sinister smile on his face.

Through his swollen left eye and broken bleeding lips, the youngman spoke. "Hello! Young master Williams?!"

"You know who I am?" James was surprised.

"Of course I do...but am puzzled, what wrong I did to anger you?" the slim man spoke.

"Willing to speak now?" James was glad that he didn't have to get bloody tonight.

"Oh, I don't speak to underdogs!" A punch landed on the man's left jaw making him spit out more blood and crash hard to the ground again. The guard that had punched him was furious for being called an underdog. "Kind treatment is virtue Young master Williams."

"Does your grandfather know what your upto? Poking your toes into the fires!"

"I'm under his command." he spoke.

"Ahhh!!!"

"Is that why am being beaten up black and blue?" Realisation dawned on the young man. "Sigh, I should have known that Miss Jenny had such protection!!"

"Now you know."

"That means I can go back to my peaceful life then!" he laughed heartily.

"What do you mean?" Mike asked feeling somewhat confused.

He laughed at Mike's question. "I was out watching her!" he yelled and grimanced in pain when his lower lip tore a bit as a result of yelling.

"You were watching her?" The youngman ignored him. "Why?"

"Don't play dumb James, am sure you know much more than I do and besides, I was only told to watch her nothing more or less."

"We misunderstood him!" Jason spoke.

"Yeah, you did and now am disfigured! What are you going to do about this?!" he pointed at his face and twisted leg.

"Go back to your grandfather and recover, tell him to schedule a meeting and let my secretary know. I'd like to have a word with him."

"What about the other guy who keeps disappearing?" The youngman asked puzzled.

"You know about him?" Jason asked this time.

Yeah, I'm observant and when he noticed I had started following him, he gave me a good beating from him before you guys had a chance to numb me."

"Did you have a closer look at him?" Travis joined the interrogations.

"I didn't, he was masked and warned me that Jenny was his for the taking!"

Pondering about it for a while, James turned to Jason. "Let's take him to his grandfather, we need to know more about her."

"I believe there are more people who have their eyes on her but the questione is why?" Mike rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"She's obviously not a mere college student, there's more."

"Did your grandfather take orders from anyone to keep an eye on her?"

"I don't know."

"What's your use then?! You can't even fight then how were you planning on protecting her?! Huh!!!!"

"I don't need to protect her, she can do it herself. She can beat you guys single handedly."

"We must have beaten him bad that his brain is damaged." A guard with tattoo filled body spoke in his gruff voice.
