4 Goblin defense
Aizen walked out of the battle and saw the terrified humans. To his mind, why would they be in here? In such a place.
One old man who was seen as an elder approached him and thanked him.
"We have indebted our lives to you. In turn, we offer allegiance. Please become our Lord!" he said in a shaky voice.
"Eh? Lord?" Aizen was surprised.
Aizen has arrived in the game and found a village. But! It was not a bad offer!
He immediately smirked and chuckled. It was time to be a Lord instead.

"Okay, I accept," Aizen said to the village elder.

"Yes! Thank you so much! May we ask our Lord's name?" the elder asked politely.
"I am Aizen Bloodsworn," Aizen bowed slightly.
"We should celebrate! Though we don't have much," the elder said in worry.
Aizen was chuckling, "Don't force a celebration if we become starved as a result. Save up the food and we must survive,"
Soon after, Aizen asked what was the current situation of the elder. They entered the tent where Aizen would rest in the meantime. They called it the Lord's tent. He was shaking in his posture as he was putting his weight on his staff.
"We have one day of ration to feed the village. After that, we will starve. Also, the village numbers are in the 200's. We will try to hunt for food," he said to him.
"Also, We only have houses. There are no other buildings currently," he said sadly.
"Please use these three boys to your liking. They will assist you," the three boys entered and they introduced themselves.
"I am Frederick, one of the grandsons of the village elder Redrick,"
"I am Roderick, the eldest grandson of the village elder,"
"I am Eldrick, the youngest!"
"We will serve our Lord Ainz!" they chorused.
With the three, they soon were trained by Aizen in basic combat. They showed promise in their training.

The scouts have reported that goblins were gathering to attack the village.
Goal: You must build a barricade while training the villagers.
Aizen was shocked at what he saw. It was an event that the game system gave. Knowing that his village has no protection from invaders, unlike the normal and easy difficulty.
He was still in a premature stage where he still had no defenses and no army to boot. It was a tad harder to recruit than normal without the persuasion skill.
He woke up and immediately conscripted men for the army.
The militiamen he had gathered were numbered a hundred. Standing in front was him and his men. They stood in the training grounds and were ready to be trained.

News: They found out that the goblins are heading this way. They were also gathering forces and recruiting more goblins on the goblin tribes on their path. They are estimated to be 300 plus. With their recruitments of the goblin tribes on the northwest and east, their numbers were a lot higher. Upon their estimation, there would be 500 plus.
Upon the discovery, Aizen immediately trained the remaining villagers. They were all conscripted temporarily as militias.

Day 2 of training the militias and it was still chaotic. They needed to execute simple orders first and formations. Especially the phalanx shield wall.
Day 3 and they finally were improving. They knew the basics for now and that was what was important. The time was running out and they had to be prepared. Aizen then thought to go all in and all out. All villagers would be added to the training. They might add to the survival of their village
The militias were added to the army and they have a total of 100 plus. Minus the kids of course as they were not included.

Aizen then made a simple deliveration and they needed more than brawn to deal with this problem. And so, he devised a plan.
They first barricaded the village with spikes and made a singular entry on the front of the gates. Digging a canal near the spikes the water was flooded into it. The gates were put with boiling tar in case the gate wouldn't hold. With it, it could hold the goblins at bay for several minutes.
The archers will be positioned near the gates and they made a draw bridge for better defense. Hindering the goblins to enter immediately.
Now that they were ready, they settled inside the walls.

All preparations were made and it was time for war.
Other guards were praying for the gods to bid them a good battle. It was funny but Aizen clung to hope. That he would survive this predicament.
