"Don't blame me, guys. It's my life on the line here. It's not that I don't trust you, but I just want my plan to be foolproof. What if you guys sided with Fushigiro? Fortunately, you guys didn't or I would have killed you by now."

As a killer in his past life, Caleb doesn't rely on trust. But on probability. Since Dunn and Jin made the right choices, he didn't have to kill them now.
