The structured timeline laid out by the system was reassuring. It provided a clear roadmap to regaining my strength, though it also highlighted the need for patience and diligence. The journey from Sequence 9 to Sequence 4 was not trivial, but at least it was defined.

I must have a power that is similar to that of the 22 pathways to use in times of emergency. At worst, I can be labeled as a 'wild Beyonder' at most, and not the outer deity apostle. Even though many low Beyonders won't know too much about other pathway power, that is not the case for high Beyonders. More importantly, I do not want to draw Adam or Evernight Goddess's attention toward me if I use a different power system from the 22 usual pathways since they always cast their gaze on Backlund.

Adam, with his inscrutable plans, and the Evernight Goddess, with her omnipresent watchfulness, were the two beings I most wanted to avoid. Their influence on Backlund was pervasive, and their interest in anomalies was well known.

"System, I wonder if I can use power similar to the 22 usual pathways."

Talking about the King of Angels, I remember there are two Kings of Angels hiding in Backlund, Pellez in the future, and Will, the Snake of Mercury.

"Can you hide me and yourself from those of higher sequence in Backlund?"

"Yes, by using the authority of the flames, I can use the flames to burn our presence away, of course without hurting us," Uriel said as a matter of fact.

Hearing this, I felt relieved knowing that I wouldn't have my identity discovered by those beings. If I want to create such a group, I still need money to fund our activities and more importantly to boast my wealth to Klein when he arrives. Hehe. I can't help it considering he is always broke.

Considering my father was a 'Duke,' I should have money comparable or more to Audrey. Born with 'built-in' power and endless money, I am really glad I have transmigrated into this body. Perhaps my past self already knew this and arranged it to suit my personality because we should be the same and have the same personality, a 'salted fish.'
