His 'Young' Cousin

Julius spent the next two days preparing for the grand event.

He could sense the destiny surrounding Tingen slowly turning into disorder. It was almost time for the event to begin.

Kottman had already finished his preparations in Tingen City.

Julius was also ready to head out any time now.

He had accumulated six days' worth of 'trial of omnipotence' which lets him turn this into a higher-level power.

His 'Accumulation' works by using the accumulated time to temporarily bypass the restrictions placed onto him because of his low sequence.

By following the 60:1 ratio, he would have 4 seconds of 'omnipotence' equivalent to that of a nigh-Great Old One.

This will allow him to alter reality at will without any regard to the True Gods, and even true Outer Deity levels. The Outer Deities are a powerful threat to Julius, but they are outside the planet and is blocked by the 'Natural Barrier'.

The Natural Barrier protects the planet from any direct invasion of the Outer Deities, and even if they do manage to sneak in, their levels are directly weakened. They can only exert influence at the level of True Gods in Earth.

Which makes Julius invincible at a certain amount of time.

He plans to use the 4 seconds of 'trial of omnipotence' to directly elevate the level of his Personal Artifacts from King of Angels to nigh-Great Old One. Take note that nigh-Great Old One is different from a half-Great Old One.

A nigh-Great Old One possess the strength of a Great Old One but lacks the 'level' corresponding to it. In simple terms, they are already Great Old Ones but false ones. If a true Great Old One battles a false Great Old Ones, of course the true Great Old One will win.

But all of these is none of Julius' concern, because his enemies are not even at the level of Great Old Ones! They are just True Gods!

Julius snickered to himself.

Too bad that the elevation of his Personal Artifacts' levels are temporary. Due to the restriction, the effect of his 'reality manipulation' using a 'temporary level' will only last for a day.

"But that's more than enough." Julius knew very well that with just a glance, he can even destroy the world if he wills it.

Julius was rather excited and looked forward to what will happen tomorrow.

He could feel that the Lord of Storms, Leodoro, has already been alarmed.

The last time he saved Kottman from death, Leodoro already sensed that there was something wrong in the reality.

However, despite the fact, True Gods such as Leodoro cannot actually use his powers to investigate because they are currently restricted!

They are currently trapped in the Astral World and is using their divine kingdoms as medium of support to the Natural Barrier!

When the Ancient Sun God fell, it quickened the destruction of Natural Barrier. At the end of Fourth Epoch, few more cracks appeared in the Natural Barrier.

The hypothesized estimate of a few decades were suddenly shortened into a few years. This took the True Gods in surprise, leaving them no choice but to move their divine kingdoms to the Astral World to fill in the gaps.

"The only way they can truly gaze at the real world is to descend via a medium or by truly destroying the lands with their full descent
" Julius leaned on the stool of the opened window in second floor.

The True Gods are currently in the unknown despite the plans they placed to guide the general trend of the Fifth Epoch. They probably could sense that something is happening but could not truly see it.

That cannot be helped because Julius' existence distorts the very concept of fate and destiny itself. His personal level is only a Sequence 5, and if we include his Personal Artifacts, it becomes King of Angels.

But there is one thing that Julius can always use whenever he wants.

The level of his cheat, Order and Chaos!

He cannot use it to do anything directly, but he can certainly use it to make the concept of 'fate' and 'destiny' much more chaotic, which now requires the strength of a real Great Old One to pry into it.

"I did not even do anything
" Julius sighed, "The moment I reincarnated in this world, fate and destiny were no longer in the hands of True Gods."

Julius can feel that the higher his level becomes, and the higher his control over Order and Chaos becomes, the disorder in fate and destiny will become more prevalent over time.

Right now, it only required the strength of Great Old One, but judging by the time of his advancement, it will require the strength of Original Creator in the future!

His mere existence is an irregularity in this cosmos!

This is the reason why the word 'irregularity' will always be part of his honorific title as 'Renon', and as 'Julius Avane' if ever he reached Sequence 2 in the future.

"What a sick world
" Julius lamented loudly.

He sensed Sara approach him and say, "Master, someone from the royal family sent a batch of goods."

Julius glanced at Sara, "Who sent it specifically?"

"It seems to be His Highness The Crown Prince." Sara pulled out a letter before giving it to Julius.

𝘑𝘊𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘯? Julius instinctively frowned. While he opened the letter, he asked Sara, "What kind of goods did His Highness send?"

Sara fell silent before she said in a low voice, "Aside from vegetables and fruits, there were also books
"

Julius was confused, "Is there anything else?"

"Well
" Sara hesitated before she said, "There was also a young kid."

"Young kid?!" Julius was completely confused.

Julius can only shake his head before he looked at Sara, "Sara, how is the young kid's condition?"

Sara said, "He is unhealthy and dirty. Are there any instructions, Master?"

Julius answered, "He is my relative from my mother's side, a cousin. I am not particularly attached to them
"

He thought for a moment before saying, "Clean him and dress him up. Let him eat then tell Swain to prepare any necessary documents to send this kid back to his family."

Julius then remembered. He stopped Sara from leaving.

He asked, "Oh yeah, what's the little guy's name?"

Sara smiled, "Oh it's Will Auceptin, Master."

Julius' face collapsed and asked her solemnly, "Are you telling the truth?"

Sara was rather confused. She said, "Yes. Is there anything wrong, Master?"

Julius quickly calmed down. He said, "After he eats, bring him to my study room. I need to talk to this little kid."

Sara bowed and went down to follow Julius' instructions.

Julius sat on the couch.

On the second floor, aside from his, Swain, and the twins' rooms. There were also a few other rooms such as the study room. Right now, he is on the open living room where he could spend some time lazing around.

Julius leaned back and stared at the ceiling lazily.

He asked himself,

Julius was confused.

Now that he thought about it, his predecessor never investigated the previous families of his parents. He was only concerned with his current family.

Well, Julius cannot be bothered.

For now, he'll just meet this little kid.

Julius then remembered that when Klein encountered Will Auceptin in the story, the young guy was dressed well.

Julius now looked forward to meeting Will Auceptin.

Although, an archangel is feared everywhere, it was rather lackluster for Julius. What he was interested in is the history between his family and Will Auceptin.

Julius was curious and could not wait.

After a while, instead of Sara, it was Sera who brought up a young boy in his teenage years to the second floor. The boy looked rather shy and grateful.

Julius signaled for the young boy to sit.

He smiled and said, "I heard that you're named Will Auceptin? I'm Julius Avane, your cousin. I heard of your difficulties in Backlund. How old are you?"

The young boy's movements were rather stiff. He said in an unconfident voice, "I'm 14."

Julius nodded and asked, "Why are you here in Backlund? Although, I'm not sure of the status in your family's side. I bet it's not that bad."

Will was really good at acting, as Julius knew that if he was just an ordinary person, he would have gotten himself fooled!

Will hesitated before he said in a stammer, "A-actually, I left home because I had some disagreements with my parents
"

Julius smirked inwardly, 𝘈𝘎 𝘪𝘧! 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘊 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘊 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘞𝘊𝘳𝘊 𝘩𝘊𝘳𝘊 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘊𝘊𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘊𝘀𝘰𝘮𝘊 𝘵𝘩𝘊 𝘚𝘊𝘲𝘶𝘊𝘯𝘀𝘊 0: 𝘞𝘩𝘊𝘊𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘊!

Julius looked worried in the outside, "Is that so?"

He looked to be in thought for a moment before he said, "I already sent someone to contact your parents. I will help you go home. Is that alright with you?"

Will looked left and right before he said shyly, "B-big brother, I don't want to go home. Is it not possible for you to help me stay in Backlund?"

𝘔𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘳𝘧%$&*

Julius almost cursed out loud. This bastard was really shameless!

Julius paused and looked at Will deeply. He was thinking of whether to rudely throw this old monster out. But he knows that he cannot do it unless he wants to exert his power.

Julius fell silent before he said, "Okay. I will follow your wishes. I'll convey your decision to your parents. I will help you for the time being."

Actually, Will Auceptin has already tried to use his Beyonder powers to influence Julius' decisions.

Julius could only roll his eyes inwardly. He let this old monster use this connection to him as a relative to gain financial support for his stay in Backlund.

Julius knew that this old monster would leave soon anyways.

Julius smiled kindly and glanced at Sara, "Then, I'll prepare a cheque for you."

Will looked deeply shocked. He heaved a sigh of relief, "Thank you, big brother."

Julius shook his head and said, "No problem."
