7 Card of Blasphemy, and Their Cruel Plan

Julius' looked at the young man who looked after the stall. "Hello, how much for this mask?" He picked up a mask with no facial expression, only two holes for the eyes. It was a pure white mask that looked cheap.

The young man who was busy in counting his earnings today, was surprised. He looked at the extremely handsome young man in front of him, and asked inwardly, 'When did he appear?'

The young man thought for a while before saying, "10 soli." He looked at Julius calmly, more like pretended to be. Right now, he was inflating the price so high it might go against the sky. Normally, he sold it only for 6 pence.

Julius' mouth twitched. His golden earring reflected a ray of light. He could see through the thoughts of the young man easily. 'Still so young, but really good at scamming people.'

He shook his head and brought out 1 pound. Seeing the 1 pound, the young man's heart jumped. That was equal to at least four days of hard work!

Julius wore the white mask in his face, and flicked the 1 pound in the air.

The young man's eyes neglected Julius' figure, and only focused on the 1 pound that fell into his hands. He raised his head to look at Julius to say a word of gratitude out of his guilt. But Julius had already longed vanished...

...

Julius carried the Cane of Deceit as he traversed through the Spirit World. He wore pure black suit under the silver robe that covered his body. There was a white mask in his face, the Trojan Gloves in both of his hands, and the Watch of Stars in his pocket.

He was fully equipped, literally armed to the teeth!

The Earring of Alzuhod had longed turned from golden to silver-black. And from now, he assumes the identity of 'King of Angels, Renon'.

Julius tapped his cane on the invisible ground that supported him in the sky of the Spirit World. In that instant, the space warped as every information about the rapidly changing space around him entered his mind.

It only took a few seconds before he found himself standing before a large museum in the heart of West Borough, the Royal Museum. There were a bunch of security patrolling around, but they didn't seem to notice him.

Julius smiled as he stood silently, letting the night air blow into his clothes.

'The feeling of using the Door Pathways abilities are much more fun than expected.' Julius reminiscenced for a while. Although it was not real flight, the feeling of control over space was rather addicting for him, a transmigrator that came from a world without powers!

He walked slowly and took in the surroundings with delight.

The museum had a few lamps that lit the pavement around it. The crimson moon hung in the sky, bathing every corner with its crimson glow. The scenery looked breathtaking.

Julius stopped a little to admire the scenery. After a while, he resumed walking and soon found himself standing before the door of the museum.

He ignored it and walked inside as if this door did not exist. He felt his vision darken a little, the lights inside the museum are all turned off.

Using the power of Error Pathway, he 'deceived' the lights in the musem that it was never turned off in the first place. Soon, the inside of museum lit up.

Julius looked at the numerous relics and paintings that were exhibited in the museum. The museum was closed because of the grand exhibition that will happen after a month or two that will showcase Roselle's relics.

Unfortunately, Julius is not someone who liked art. He ignored everything and soon came in front of a stand that had a Roselle's scribles. He approached it and picked it up.

Julius flicked open the book and soon found a black card. The Card of Blasphemy: The Black Emperor! In it was Roselle's figure on an ancient throne, he wore a black crown and pitch-black armor with a cape of same color.

Borrowing the level of his Personal Artifacts, Julius extracted the information in the Black Emperor card. Potions and rituals, as well as the name of all respective sequence from 9 to 0 appeared in his mind.

Julius was done here, as he placed the Card of Blasphemy back on the diary. He closed the diary and placed it back on the stand. He backed up and looked at the diary written by Roselle. A strange feeling welled up in his mind.

Roselle is currently locked up in his last mausoleum when he forcefully jumped to the Black Emperor pathway. He got corrupted by Mother Goddess of Depravity and honestly, only someone at the level of the Great Old Ones can save him. Truthfully, Julius can save him in the future, but they are in the same pathway, which makes things complicated.

"So this is destiny, huh..." Julius muttered. Roselle's life depends on his choices. He will ascend as the Black Emperor regardless of Roselle's condition, now what depends is whether he will put in an effort to save him from corruption.

Julius tapped the floor with his cane. The space around him distorted, the power he cast on the museum all slowly vanished as the lights turned off.

He sensed someone approaching, but he did not care. "Alas, Roselle is just an unlucky man." With those final words, Julius vanished from the museum.

A lady with chestnut hair quickly appeared in the exact position where Julius once stood. She wore a lace dress, and a fishnet veil on her face. Her eyes that rarely showed emotion, rippled at this moment.

She is Bernadette Gustav. Roselle's youngest daughter.

...

"..." Julius looked at Bernadette with an odd look.

'Why is she here? Isn't it a little bit too early?' Actually, he already noticed the spell that were left in that book. It was a spell that would alert the caster once the book was moved. Julius did not pay it any heed since he thought Bernadette would be in the Five Seas. She was faster than expected.

Well, in the end, Julius doesn't care. What he went to do here has been achieved, so he can begin his next tasks. That is to eliminate the middle sequence beyonders that might become variables in the future!

Julius' eyes turned indifferent, even a little bit cold.

The space around him warped, he directly appeared in a luxurious room. In the bed was a middle-aged man who slept peacefully. He is one of the most famous businessman in Backlund, Ford Geis.

Julius clicked his tongue. This middle-aged man looked gentle and peaceful. If he didn't have the information from his 'trial of omnipotence', he wouldn't know that he is an important chess piece placed by the Blood Sanctify Sect, an organization that worshipped an Evil God! A very dangerous organization.

Julius did not wait for Ford to wake up. A worm of time appeared out of nowhere and merged with Ford Geis' forehead. He then used Deceit on the strange will in Ford Geis' body, deceiving the strange will that Ford Geis is still Ford Geis.

This was a residual will left by the Devil Monarch Farbauti, the current true god of the Abyss Pathway! But this will has been diluted a hundred times. Even if it was his true residual will, Julius was not afraid, much less a weak one.

The Worm of Time parasitized Ford Geis, but did not wrestle for control, instead it hid quietly like a mantis waiting for its prey. Julius did not want the Blood Sanctify Sect to be alerted that someone was snooping around them.

Julius did not stop with just Ford Geis, and flipped over the entire Backlund looking for these middle sequence beyonders that had strange wills placed inside their body. From nobles, to businessmen, not even vagrants were spared. Julius parasitized them all!

Some of them knew critical information, some were unaware. These organizations are really careful to not let their plans go to smoke because of external interference.

Julius landed on a villa. This was the last place he needed to deal with.

Empress Borough, Earl Hall Villa. The place where Audrey and her family lived. But Julius ignored the manor in the center, but instead went into the building at the side. It was the servants' quarters.

He teleported inside a specific room in the servants' quarters. He saw a young man curled like a kitten, trembling in cold. Julius frowned and noticed that something was amiss.

Just to be sure, Julius deployed a layer of isolation in the room. He slowly approached the young man and looked at him properly.

The young man has a messy hair and messy clothes. He looked really pale and looked like he was about to pass away. His skin looked shrivelled as if his blood had been sucked away. Julius saw the bite marks on his neck and understood.

"The work of a Sanguine? No. Sanguines dare not make trouble in Backlund since it might implicate their clan. So, this was probably done by someone from the Moon Pathway." Julius felt that this might be Rose School of Thought's work.

As the blood of this young man is contaminated by Mother Goddess of Depravity, Julius knew that whoever drunk it will not escape "Her" clutches. "She" is that terrifying and this is just the tip of iceberg. Someone of that level is far beyond what humans can comprehend.

Julius was too lazy to continue his thinking and just used the ability of Visionary Pathway. He extracted the memories of the young man. When he saw what happened, he knew that he had guessed it right. It was indeed done by someone in the Rose School of Thought going by the name of Levi. He is a Sequence 5: Scarlet Scholar.

Julius parasitized Henry, which was the young man on the bed, then with his power, he stabilized the young man's condition. He erased the layer of isolation in the room and stood silently in the corner.

After waiting for a few minutes, he saw a teen walk into the room. He wore luxurious clothes that did not suit his size, it looked oversized for him. He walked arrogantly. It was Levi.

Levi looked at Henry then frowned. He noticed that the latter had already stabilized. Never did he know that someone was looking at him only a meter away.

Levi did not say anything, but instead looked pleased that Henry survived. He pulled out a talisman in which he placed on Henry's chest. Then, miraculously, Henry's shrivelled body restored its healthy appearance, a rosy glow replacing Henry's pale face.

After confirming that Henry had been 'restored', Levi tried to take back the talisman. But surprisingly, he failed.

Huh? Levi was surprised as he pulled the talisman with greater force. But it did not move at all, as if it was glued to Henry's body.

"What's happening here?" Levi whispered to himself as he looked at Henry who was still sleeping because of the potion he let the other party drink.

Then Levi's face suddenly warped into terror as he found out that he could not move. He heard footsteps beside him as Julius revealed himself.

"This experiment of your organization is pretty interesting." Julius calmly said.

Levi looked at Julius with fear, he had already met Abomination Suah, so he was very familiar with this level of terror. The feeling of his life slipping away from him just from "His" presence. He only thought of one thing, 'Angel! What's an angel doing here?!'

"To think that Rose School of Thought wants to slowly take over the Sanguines by feeding them human blood corrupted by Mother Goddess of Depravity." Then Julius continued, not minding Levi's increasingly paled face. "Since the source is a human at Sequence 6, and you people only give it to low sequence beyonders, a single blood pack is enough for them to be corrupted. Even if it was a demigod, they won't be able to sense the corruption since it is 'Her' who brought corruption, only angels and above can."

"You give it to low sequence beyonders with great potential so in the future when these 'traitors' mature, the Sanguines will slowly fall into your organization's hands. The Sanguines wouldn't notice a thing till everything is way too late." Julius clapped and smiled at Levi, "Even if this plan failed, the strength of Sanguines will be greatly affected because of the 'traitors' that had drunk the corrupted blood."

"This is not an experiment at all. This plan is impressive. Who thought of it?"

Levi's eyes widened. He sensed that the masked man in front of him had removed the restriction on his mouth, but he did not answer.

Julius noticed his resolve to not speak whatever Julius does to him. Julius did not change his expression, "You have two choices, you die painfully and I extract your memories, or you die peacefully and I extract your memories. Choose."

"Oh. I almost forgot. Don't even think that the will Abomination Suah left in your body can save you. Even if 'He' does arrive, 'He' will only die in my hands." Julius smiled.

Levi despaired as he looked at Julius in fear. Then he heard himself slowly saying everything about what he knew in this matter. 'Ah. I'm done for.' He just gave up mentally resisting.
