Some hours later, Alexander was sitting in his living room.

Opposite to him, an incarnation made through the use of Chaos' Pupil was standing.

He had to admit that having two bodies at the same time was a very novel experience.

Even though it could be considered a clone, Alexander still had to manipulate it, making it more of a puppet.

This meant that even if it managed to somehow possess extraordinary power, it still couldn't become a vital part of his fighting strategies, as he would be continuously distracted.

At the same time, an invisible string connected both of them.

Alexander felt that if he wanted, he could use the incarnation as a vessel for descend.

This would still leave him undetected, since it wasn't an actual descend, but more like a link of information between them.

Suddenly, grey mist started to form around both of them.

Having expected it, Alexander's real body held the Chaos' Pupil tightly in his hand.

Just as the grey mist was about to pull his spirit body out of his body, the Chaos' Pupil shook, fighting back and preventing it.

Looking at his incarnation however, he could see that it had successfully been pulled up the Origin Castle.

Feeling that the invisible string was still attached to him, Alexander confirmed that he could still descend even if the incarnation was in the Origin Castle.

He didn't hesitate to do so, and Alexander found himself in a world filled with grey mist.

He wasn't alone, but three more people stood together with him.

Klein, Audrey and Alger.

"Sir, where is this? What are you planning on doing?", Alger and Audrey asked in unison, slightly bewildered.

Alexander didn't have any reaction, but focused most of his attention on observing the three of them and the grey mist.

Honestly, Alexander was an avid novel reader in his past life.

In situations like this, the fanfic protagonist would also act surprised and give way for Klein to show off his divine personality and charm.

Truthfully, since he learnt the truth about his "cheat", he didn't feel the need to establish a relationship with Klein and the Tarot Club.

Klein might be the next Lord of the Mysteries, but there is also a huge chance that he does not succeed.

Even if he does, Alexander's starting point is certainly higher.

Not only did he have two Sefirots, he also had a Duke of Entropy characteristic and a past life backing him up.

That's not to say that he would not consider Klein as a potential ally, but he would always look at his interests first.

You're pretending to be an ancient god that just woke up?

Well, I'm an actual ancient god, wanna fight?

Klein didn't know that Alexander was already thinking of beating him up, but was instead taking glances at him.

He was pretty sure that he only pressed two crimson stars, meaning that this gentleman got in here by his own.

However, he quickly regained his calm and reponded.

"An attempt.", he said in a deep voice.

Alexander had to admit that the mental capacity of Klein could be considered very impressive.

If he didn't know any better, he would have also been fooled.

He didn't hesitate to nod his head however, as if Klein had said something very profound.

It wasn't meant to flatter Klein, he just wanted to mess with him.

Audrey and Alger were also observing each other and noticed his attitude.

"Being able to remain so calm, he should also be a powerful Beyonder.", Alger's imagination ran wild once again.

Audrey seemed to gain some courage and promptly asked a question that had been plaguing her mind.

"I have always been very interested towards mysteries and supernatural events."

"Sirs, does anyone know what I can do to become a Beyonder?", Audrey asked in a nervous voice and turned her attention to others.

Before anyone had time to answer though, the grey fog started to churn, as a number of stone pillars and a dome above them materialized.

Klein, clueless about how he did that, observed the participants, wanting to see their reactions.

He was slightly disappointed however, as he noticed that although Audrey and Alger were shocked, Alexander had put a slightly bored posture.

"So embarrassing.", Klein thought, but years of being a keyboard warrior had made him thick-skinned enough.

After a few seconds of silence, Alexander decided to answer Audrey's question.

"Most powerful organizations have special Beyonder departments."

"You can either join the official churches, or become a Beyonder of your Kingdom."

"Otherwise, you can only get potion formulas through other channels.", Alexander said and turned his attention to Alger.

It wasn't that he was particularly interested in giving free information, but rather didn't know if Klein's spirituality could support them for long enough with the addittion of him.

At the same time, showing his value in the Tarot Club could help when he would need to negotiate conditions with Klein.

Seeing Alexander looking at him, Alger seemed to be deliberating for some time before replying.

"I have two Sequence 9 potion formulas."

Alger then proceeded to explain the history of the potions and the abilities of the Sailor and Spectator pathways.

In response Audrey decided to trade the Spectator potion formula for the blood of Ghost Sharks.

"As for how to guarantee the validity of the formula, I think you can rest assured under the witness of the mysterious sir.", Alger said and swept his eyes towards Klein.

"That's right.", Audrey agreed with joy in her face.

"Sir, how should we address you?"

Klein, who was still focused on observing Alexander's actions, was caught off guard.

"You can address me as, the Fool.", he replied calmly.

As Klein was having fun cosplaying, Alexander cleared his throat, trying to attracting the three people's attention.

By now, both Audrey and Alger had noticed that even if the gentleman wasn't as strong as Mr. Fool, he was still mysterious enough to be able to remain so calm under these circumstances.

Only Klein knew that this gentleman should be the only mysterious person in the room.

"Mr. Fool, don't you find such a gathering interesting?"

"Why don't you make more of such 'attempts'?"

"Maybe you can also gain something.", Alexander suggested, trying to speed up the pace of the Tarot Club.

Klein heard his suggestion and saw that Audrey and Alger were also secretely nodding.

"I'm a person who likes a fair and equal exchange."

"Every Monday at three in the afternoon try your best to be alone."

Seeing that Mr. Fool agreed, Audrey quickly asked in excitement.

"Shall we give our selves code names?"

"Since your name is derived from the tarot cards, we should also use tarot card names."

"I choose Justice.", she said and smiled at Alger.

"Hanged Man."

As Alger answered, all of the people's eyes focused on Alexander.

Alexander had never felt pressure under other people's attention, so he remained calm.

"I'll go by the name Emperor."

Alexander had already decided before coming here.

Not only was it his current pathway, but most importantly "The Emperor above the Spirit World" would also make for a very cool sounding honorific name.

As everyone had picked their code name, Audrey asked about the tarot cards' origin and Alger quickly answered, scared that someone would respond before him.

Suddenly, Klein started feeling a very intense pain in his head.

Noticing Klein's movements, Alexander knew that his spirituality should be almost depleted by now.

"Alright, this will be the end of today's gathering."

"By your will.", Alger and Audrey answered, while Alexander nodded.

Klein cut off people's connection with the Origin Castle, as Audrey and Alger returned to reality.

In the grey mist however, an awkward situation occurred.

Klein realized that he couldn't cut off the gentleman's connection, resulting to both of them silently looking at each other.

Alexander figured out Klein's difficulties and reacted.

"Cough, cough, okay, I'll be going now.", Alexander said and cut off his own connection with the Origin Castle.

Only Klein was left in the grey mist, contemplating his own life.
