17 Diary of a Transmigrator

Glancing at the watch on his wrist, Alexander found that about half an hour had passed since he had reached his home, leaving him with about an hour and a half before the Faceless arrives.

This would be enough time for him to get promoted to a Sequence 7 Briber.

Taking the ingredients out of his drawer and walking towards the basement, Alexander found a metal bucket and threw the ingredients in.

Some seconds later, he had managed to successfully configure the Briber potion.

The potion was black in color, with countless black symbols seemingly floating around its surface.

Just taking a glance at it would cause a headache for a ordinary person, but Alexander had become accustomed to it by now.

Picking up the potion and chugging it down his throat, the familiar murmurs and black symbols appeared once again.

Alexander had expected it, and used 100% of his attention on maintaining his state.

Time passed, but for the first time, the symbols and murmurs didn't disappear but instead intensified.

Sudden motion sickness assaulted Alexander, almost causing him to throw up.

Just as he felt that he could no longer maintain his state, he was shocked to find that he was able to interpret one of those symbols.

He didn't know if it was it was a hallucination, but he felt that a strange black eye with a colorful pupil was looking at him, just as he was looking at it.

Perceiving the importance of the black eye, he didn't look away, but shifted his entire focus on trying to figure out its nature.

Just as he was feeling that he was about to realize something, the symbols and the murmurs vanished immediately, as if they were looking for this opportunity.

Disappointed, Alexander felt his eyes twitch, before he found himself back to reality.

Looking down, he found that his whole body was soaked in sweat.

Finding a random chair in the basement and sitting down to calm himself, Alexander started to recall his experience during the promotion.

Although that experience was terrifying, he was surprised to find out that not only was his spirit not tired, but instead he felt really comfortable.

At the same time, he was sure that the strange black eye was not a hallucination, but he still couldn't figure out its true nature.

Moreover, for a second, just before the murmors disappeared, Alexander felt a strange sense of familiarity .

Shaking his head, he decided stop thinking about it, as he didn't know if these were symptoms that he had been polluted or if it was caused by something else.

Opening the Fate Simulator, he found that his information had been updated.

[Achievement: Reach Sequence 7: Diary of a Transmigrator Part I]

Alexander hadn't expected that reaching Sequence 7 would be an achievement, as none of his previous promotions had been one.

Focusing on the word 'Achievement', the familiar silver mist floated out of body, before compressing and turning into a tiny, aged book and flying towards his hands.

Alexander didn't know if it was his imagination, but he felt that the silver mist had been slightly dyed in black after his promotion.

Turning his attention towards the book, Alexander found that there was no title on the front page.

Carefully opening it, Alexander turned to its first page and started reading.

[So many years have passed and I still haven't completely accepted the fact that I've 'transmigrated'.

I don't know if I'm heartless, but I wouldn't go back even if I could.

There is supernatural power in this world, why would I return to live an ordinary life?

...

All the angels and the other gods are waiting for my death.

Do they think I don't know?

I just don't care enough.

...

As the years pass, I realize that my memories of before my awakening are becoming more and more blurry.

It's come to a point where I can hardly remember anything.

...

If the Original Creator is omnipotent and omniscient, did he really die?

Since even the Great Old Ones can predict their fall and leave behind ways for resurrection, is it really possible that He didn't leave any way for himself?

...

Days have passed and another 'transmigrator' came.

She fell from the Origin Castle and turned into a Demonic Wolf.

I don't know if I should consider her lucky or misfortunate.

...

The power system is basically a shackle to the extraordinary power.

Even if you successfuly accommodate a Sefirot and promote to a Great Old One, are you going to be stronger than the original Great Old One of your pathway?

Even if you happen to be, there is still no way to become stronger than the Original Creator.]

Looking at its contents, Alexander confirmed that this should be the diary of the Ancient Sun God.

The entries of the diary had no date and were in random order, but Alexander could roughly guess the period where each entry was written.

Reading it, he felt that it was more like a objective record of the author's thoughts and experiencesthan a personal diary.

It made sense however, as, even if you don't consider the issue of divinity, living for a long time will make you become more and more indifferent.

Reading the author's thoughts, Alexander, who had read the original book, agreed with some of his thoughts.

Alexander was sure that Beyonder Laws themselves were a possible way for the resurrection of the Original Creator.

Just as Beyonders will attract Beyonders of the same and adjacent pathways, Great Old Ones will attract each other and try to forcibly accomodate more Sefirots.

This behavior is innate to the extraordinary system and no one can resist it, as if the parts of the Original Creator are trying to converge again.

Alexander had the terrifying thought, that maybe the day when someone accommodates every single Sefirot is the day that the Original Creator resurrects.
