Roxy's perspective - enslavement

Roxy was furious. The two humans were utterly useless, completely worthless. They couldn't even drag a boar's corpse; they just stood there talking to each other.

Roxy was going to tell her big brother everything, and he would let her eat them.

She didn't understand why he wasted his time with these creatures; he should only be with her because she was strong, even if not as strong as him.

Her big brother was really strong. Roxy's first memories were a blur of overwhelming emptiness, a vast, cold abyss that stretched as far as she could see. Then, a presence pierced through the desolate landscape. It was her big brother. Like a fortress against the encroaching chill, he stood strong, a beacon of warmth and comfort in a world devoid of meaning.

She looked at Fred in front of her; he was dragging a boar's corpse behind him. She liked Fred, Malakai, and Cassandra. They were weak but they were obedient.

As she was bringing the last boar's corpse into the cave, an immense and terrifying heat spread through the air. The heat seemed to come from the top of the mountain.

"Big brother," Roxy thought.

She turned to Fred and the two humans and telepathically ordered them, "Come with me, we must help my brother," which she expressed as, "Come. We help." Roxy was frustrated at not being able to communicate her thoughts properly.

She dashed through the corridor of the cave leading to the mountain's summit, followed by Fred and the two humans.

Exiting the cave, she was stunned by an incredible sight. Her brother was laughing with joy, and above him stood a creature with a flaming sword in its hand. Her brother made a gesture, and the creature rose higher before becoming a blazing ball of fire. The heat was so intense that the two humans behind her recoiled, screaming.

Alerted by the noise, her brother turned towards them and commanded, "Enough," to the creature. The flames stopped, and the creature descended to the ground.

Roxy realized that her brother had acquired a new servant, but this one was powerful.

Her brother turned to them and with a warm smile said, "Let me introduce you to Ignis."

The large, bald human, locked eyes with the creature before dropping to one knee. "I see it clearly now, my lord," he boomed, his voice surprisingly strong for his stature. "Demons and angels bow before your might."

Roxy scoffed. The man, reeking and corpulent, seemed a grotesque caricature of a devoted follower. His theatrics were a waste of her brother's time, and she gnashed her teeth in annoyance.

Oblivious, the man continued his fervent declaration. "My lord, you are our savior! We must spread your glory across the land!"

A grudging respect flickered within Roxy. Perhaps this fool wasn't entirely useless after all. At least he recognized her brother's true power, a quality she could appreciate.

Her brother remained impassive, offering no response to the man's effusive praise. With a flick of his wrist, he strode toward the cave entrance, the imposing creature flanking him. Roxy followed with a narrowed gaze, the rest of the group trailing behind her.

Approaching the heap of bodies they had amassed from their recent battle, her brother paused to consider his next move. With a hint of contemplation in his voice, he turned to Fred and asked, "Do you wish to keep one as a mount?"

Without hesitation, Fred responded, "Yes, master."

Her brother then leaned over the largest boar's corpse and touched it gently. Moments later, the boar began to stir, rising to its feet. Observing the creature, her brother remarked, "Its intelligence is not sufficiently developed for you to handle it with ease."

He moved to another boar's body, and with a mere touch, the carcass withered under his fingers while Fred's chosen boar's body firmed up slightly and its eyes gained vitality.

"That should be enough for you to control it easily and give it simple directives," her brother stated, satisfaction evident in his tone.

Turning to her, he inquired, "Roxy, do you desire the attributes of the giant vulture you have slain?"

Roxy's eyes sparkled with an intense gleam, and her heart began to race. She was hopping from one paw to the other with excitement as she exclaimed with enthusiasm, "Yes! I can't wait to become even stronger!" That translated telepathically to "Roxy get stronger!"

As the bird's body desiccated, Roxy felt a surge of power course through her veins. The sensation was intoxicating, far surpassing the pleasure she derived from the taste of blood when she bit into prey. It was a heady mix of strength and euphoria.

Her brother continued his work, using five more boar bodies to enhance Fred. Each touch left the carcasses lifeless, their vitality transferred into Fred's body.

In the end, he seized the last three boar bodies, they crumbled under his touch. Simultaneously, his own body seemed to absorb their essence, growing more powerful and his hair lengthening slightly.

Next, he turned his attention to the two captured humans, and with a commanding tone, he declared, "It is time for you to become my subjects."

Roxy, observing this, had no clear idea of what being a subject implied but hoped it would render the two humans less useless.

From her brother's body emerged a small, laughing head named Klac. This peculiar entity was known to Roxy and always piqued her curiosity.

"Both of you, kneel," commanded her brother with authority.

The two humans obeyed, kneeling before him. He opened his palm and allowed his blood to drip onto Klac, then cut the palms of the kneeling humans, pressing their hands onto Klac's small skull. Blood mingled on the skull as he whispered something she couldn't hear.

Moments later, Klac shone brightly before rejoining her brother's body.

"You are now officially part of my troop," her brother announced. "Stand up."

The two humans rose, and her brother surveyed the entire group with a sense of pride.

"We must not cease to grow and conquer territories," he proclaimed. "We must also improve the territory we inhabit as well as our tools. We will continue to expand, and we need more brains to assist us."

Turning towards the large portal that loomed nearby, he added, "From now on, the portal can integrate four people per day; it is time to bring in a new group."

Roxy cast a disdainful glare at the portal. Her brother was bound to bring more useless people through it.
