This story is very unique , following the "Transmigator" Mc in the steampunk world. Fills with 22 Unique Power , it's power system is very unique and fascinating. Fills with supernatural stuff , and bunch of evil creatures and evil gods, some twisted and depressed plot. It's really resemble Bloodborne which is the plus point, but in Essence it's very unique and not plagiarism bloodborne. The fight is very very good, it's not like generic Type "My Beam Is stronger than yours!" , It's involve strategy,mental, uniqueness of power to win. The MC also awesome, he is not omnipotent , he made mistakes, but he learns fast from those and become more experienced. One of the best in this novel is the character, they have their own emotions, uniqueness, weakness, much like real person. And the villians is good too , not some generic aroogance uncle in chapter 1/2 that will be slapped by mc in chapter 10. Overal it's perfect. If you want. Face Slapping, Multiple Plot Armor Brainless Female Lead Kind And Heartwarming World. Then this novel isn't for you If you want. Bloodborne+Sherlock Holmes+Cthulu+Tactical Superpower Battle This novel is for you.
I think most of the readers enjoy a good world development. The way the author describes let us be engaged with the era, the atmosphere and the mentality of the story characters with both humorous and sad reality. It is not some OP dushbag or vigilante running around fighting and killing always or just slapstick comedies and cheap romance. The story feels realistic and engaging because of the excellent world development, the reality and struggles of the world and everyday life. And honestly the author did an excellent job with out stretching for word count.
This might be the only story that I've reviewed in this app. The whole thing is so good. What makes it distinct from other novels imo is that the writer gives reason for every thing that happens to the mc. Most isekai MC's stumble upon significant events without any reason at all. The development of each character is in a good and realistic pace. The plots are well organized. Even the fights are balanced out as yo make the mc fight according to his abilities only. It's a well balanced novel tbh and recommend it 10 out of 10.
Here are 4 REASONS TO READ THIS NOVEL. 🔥 Seriously, this is a masterpiece. - Smart MC, but not so OP. But OP/intelligent enough to act like a god. What I mean : there is a very well built power system like you have never seen before. 22 « pathways » to go to the top. All divided by 9 (🃏) levels. So you can imagine the rich story. - Rich world background like you’ve never seen before: each nations, cities, people have there own habits, attitudes, characteristics... - The side characters are so well built that they could be main characters in others stories. You’ll find the one you love best. - The MC does mistakes and LEARN from them Hell that feels good! Well I could continue forever praising this novel, so I won’t. The real shit starts at chapter 1 so start reading it and vote for it so it can go surpass those garbage novels in the top 5. Thank you. See you in the latest chapters 🃏
A good read, as a mixed mystery-action series set in a Victorian world with Love-craftion Gods. The characters are well written and massively enjoyable to watch interact, while dealing with the madness of the world. The puzzles are tightly crafted and the fights stunningly choreographed. Read for your self to see if you like it, I did my part with this review. May the Fool grace you with his Mercy
Absolutely outstanding novel, it might be very best on this site. You can tell the author is very passionate about it with a lot of attention to detail and excellent worldbuilding skills, a well crafted and developed power system complimented by stellar characters and interactions. The translator also does an excellent job keeping the updates consistent with very high standards and quality, and even pleasing us readers with extra updates sometimes. In conclusion very recommended to every one, it may start a bit slow but you will end it loving for sure, i would rate it 7/5 and say it deserves a much higher ranking Enjoy!
I really like how much this story leaves us in doubt and at the same time does not leave us lost! It's really rewarding... Above all, everything is unexpected in a way, you can not guess what is going to happen concretely and this is what also makes the story incredible, even if it were to compare with Throne of Magical Arcana, by the same author, nothing can be predicted! It's really rewarding...
This Story is a masterpiece. Different from any transmigration story i have read so far. Great worldbuilding with a very constistent storyline. The MC is neither a weakling nor to overpowered. To be fair there aren't that many chapters as of yet but every single one of them is good, the suspense in some of them keeps me desperately waiting for more. Defenitley a hidden gem (looking at the low powerrating). Sorry for any mistakes, i'm not a native english speaker. Give the Story a Shot, i promise it will be worth your time!
Here’s a short review The writing quality is really good it’s easy to imagine what’s happening while reading. The updates are stable The storyline starts out a little slow but for the first few chapters you’ll be introduced to quite a few things around chapter 20 you’ll have some grasp on what’s in the world who the characters are what powers there are etc. you’ll the more or less the basics The character development is steady The world is quite interesting. Ahh it’s so nice to come across a well translated story, I didn’t even realise how discontent I was getting with my normal fair of stories until I read this one, no syntax errors, no wrongly used English idioms, (That I noticed anyway) soo satisfying. I also love the setting, it’s a very rich and fully described world. Introduced skilfully and tactfully, fully in keeping with what the main character is currently going through. There are the beginnings off very promising character development, and they are already starting to become fully fleshed out and vibrant. Most of the time it’s subtly introduced, but on a couple of occasions it’s maybe been a bit blatant, but never inappropriate for the situation. It’s really too soon to say as to the update stability, and story development, but so far so good. Keep up the good work. Thank you very much for the story.
I do t know words to describe it its just WoW is this really Chines Webnovel? Like Really?, where is the arrogant youbg master where is the cardboard character and where is the face slapping thing, Its feel different, Its feel like im reading western book that have been sold Millions copy of it, its feel so fresh and etertaining, That Volume 1 Alone already worth it to be adapted into TV series like HBO or Netflix.
As a bilingual who first read this webnovel in Chinese, I would really like to recommend it to our foreign friends. In my opinion, this is a novel like no other, and it suits English readers very well. It's a web novel with western world background and mysterious settings, there are Tarot, witchcraft, evils, spirits, dragons, vampires and many more! It's characters are charming and their lives are based on 18 century Europe. This story and it's imaginations are something comparable to Harry Potter and the Lord of The Rings! ! Read it and you won't regret it!
Alright Alright...folks I have read a few chapters and I can say the story is simply amazing. The world is great, characters are likable and nice. It's not overly sophisticated, if you just plough through some strange stuff. Most importantly, the translator has done a tremendous job...simply amazing, the references to Wicca, Omar Khayyam, Victorian Etiquettes are mind-blowing. So take a bow Translator you have done a tremendous job.
World Building takes effort and thought, and this author has a clear view of what he wants to portray in the world. Steam and Victorian-esque worlds isn't an uncommon world setting, and transmigration CERTAINLY isn't anything new. The way the magic system and industrializing world merges together is what makes this a worthy read. I'd say my favorite part of the book right now is the Tarot Club. It gives me a very Trafford's Trading Club vibe, and that is one of my favorite novels here on Webnovel. Can't wait for the next Tarot Club meeting!
Probably the best webnovel ive ever read.. Some novels are good at the start then gets boring at the later chapter, because same things happen every arc, this is not the case here with LotM , every arc has their own flair and flavor and i personally like that the action scenes where not getting drawn like other chinese novels.. Overall a must read novel..
