3 Chapter 3: Upcoming Invasion

Hey guys, author here. I was just wondering if you guys like the pace at which I upload these chapters.

Or would you like it if I took a couple weeks off to write like a 50 chapters then upload them once every two days?

Also, would you guys like me too include Audrey into this fic? I have ways to bring her into it. Or how about I bring every member of the tarot club? You guys decide.

(3rd POV)

It has been 5 days since Diana and Klein's meeting, and 5 days since the opening of 'The Fools Caffé'. Over these past days, although the store wasn't busy, Klein has gotten soke customers who like the atmosphere of the Caffé. Diana, also, has been frequenting the Caffé a lot for many reasons. She likes what the Caffé has to offer, as well as trying to gather more information from either Arrodes and Klein. However this has been a fruitless effort, and she wouldn't pressure them (As if she could) into giving her information they do not wish to share. She has, however, invited some of her co workers and her liaison into the Caffé.

Today, Klein was opening the store as usual, he has found himself kind of enjoying this monotonous life of a normal person. He had never had the opportunity to just sit down and relax in his previous world. Truly, it felt as if the city of calamities was more suited for him, seeing as how many calamities he had been involved in. Snapping out of his thoughts, Klein suddenly frowns.

'It seems the time is coming soon. I should warn Diana about the upcoming invasion.' Klein ponders

"Great Master, will we defend this new Earth, as we done our previous one?" Arrodes asks

'To join or not to join, the one million pounds question. It seems my personality has been affected once I reached the level of 'The Great Old Ones'. Before I would've jumped into battle' Klein lampoons

"I'll discreetly aid them if it comes to it" Klein answers the magic mirror.

As soon as the conversation ends, Diana walks into the Caffé.

"Greetings Mr. Moretti, a fine morning it is. May I have my usual order? I will be sitting in today." Diana requested

"Sure Ms. Prince. But didn't I say to call me Klein. Not Mr. Moretti?"

"But you still call me Ms. Prince, I've told you many times you may call me Diana."

"Then Diana, your order will be coming up." Klein responds with a soft smile

"Thank you Klein." Diana responds with a similar smile.

Twenty minutes go by with Diana finishing her order, and conversing with Arrodes, still trying to gather information. Although she has failed, she's gathered that Klein isn't an ordinary mortal. She doesn't know exactly what he is, but she knows he is more powerful than her.

"Diana, it seems as if this world is going to be invaded soon." Klein says dropping a bomb as if it was nothing.

"W-What?" Diana asks

"Fate shows a malevolent being will descend, aiming to take over Earth, either to destroy it or conquer it." He responds to her with an impassive face.

"WHEN!?"

"It will occur in a day or two. Fate is fickle yet firm, I have tried to change its destiny, however somethings are inevitable. So I have thought to warn you. However do not worry, there will be a group of hero's who will repel the being, joining forces to fight against them." Klein responds calmly

"How do you know?" Diana asks, sceptical about how he knew

"Fate and Time are but easily manipulated concepts to me. However some problems are just far too much trouble for retaliation I'll receive." He replies with an annoyed expression

"Trouble? EARTH IS IN DANGER AND YOU SAY ITS TROUBLESOME!" Diana shouts

Interrupting her before she says something she'll regret, Klein replies;

"You do not understand the doings of higher existences. There are rules and laws that the universe implements. Messing with the rules will have severe backlash that even I may not be able to endure." Klein responds calmly, not taking her anger into account.

"I see. I apologise Klein for my outburst. This was too much information. But I have a question Klein. Just who are you?" Diana asks

"You will know when the time comes." Klein responds, 'I'm becoming more and more like a charlatan' he lampoons.

"I see, I thank you for this information Klein. I have to go an prepare for the upcoming battle. Do you have any more information?" She asks

"He is a New God, and evil god looking to spread death and entropy upon worlds. He will arrive with his army of pandemonium's who will be sent to do his bidding. He is Darkseid, and he will be coming in search for something." Klein replies to her query.

"You have my gratitudes. If I need your help, how will I reach you. I do not carry a communications device with me?" She asks, hoping he might assist in her battle.

"You may recite my honorific name, I will hear you;

'The Lord that Embodies Mysteries and Miracles,

The Tamperer of Time and Fate,

The Wanderer of the Cosmos.'

Recite these words and I'll be able to assist you in your perals." He replies as he comes up with his new honorific name on the spot.

"T-Thank you, Klein." Diana responds, startled before she starts to turn to leave, almost robotically.

"You are welcome" he says with a slight smile.

"Great Master, was it wise to release your honorific name into this world?" Arrodes questions

"Perhaps, but she has grown on me. She reminds me of Miss 'Justice', and for that I will assist her when she needs it." Klein reminisces. "The fate of this world is heavily dependent on these heroes, they will go through hardship and losses. So the least I can do is to assist them when they are lost, or in times of distress." He continues more seriously.

"I see, Great Master your knowledge knows no bounds" Arrodes replies almost fanatically, causing Kleins lips to twitch.

"Yeah, yeah, you can stop kissing my ass now."

Finishing their conversation, another customer walks in. Their ignorance about what's to come, haunts Klein. Many of times innocent people are massacred due to their ignorance, such as being used for rituals, or praying to hidden existences and more. Although he can't warn the innocent people, he can give a heads up to the heroes who will protect the Earth from the being. So immediately Klein closes the store and sets off the find these heroes.

"Arrodes, show me the location of superman." Klein asks the mirror.

"He lives in an apartment in Metropolis, with his girlfriend Lois Lane who is a journalist. He goes by the name of Clark Kent, real name is Kal-El from the house of El on krypton." Arrodes reports

"Thank you."

"Great Master does that satisfy you?"

"Yes"

Saying this he opens a 'door' to the front of supermans apartment in Metropolis. Knocking of the heroes door, Klein waits, after all 'manner maketh the man'.

After a couple of seconds, the door opens, revealing the bulky figure of superman, wearing his glasses.

"Who may you be sir." Superman asks

"You may address me as… The Fool." He responds, not caring to release his name.

"What do you want?" Superman asks, clearly confused.

"I just wanted to warn you about something. There will be an army of extraterrestrial beings who will invade this planet either tomorrow, or the day after. They are searching for you, Kal-El of Krypton. And once they come they will cause death and entropy to the innocents. So I'm here to warn you." Klein says to the hero who has a shock on his face.

"W-What!? Y-You how do you know me and what did you say!?" He says as the information was dropped on him.

Klein sighs as he continues to explain, adding more information. But he doesn't tell him how he knows him, causing superman to get a little vexed.

Finishing with the explanation, Klein disappears into motes of light. Disappearing from superman's view, causing him shock as he uses his abilities to find out how he disappeared. Not finding anything, Clark sighs in dissapointment as he closes the door again, going to prepare for the situation.

"Honey, who was it?" Asks the beautiful raven haired women, Lois Lane.

"A man that goes by the name 'The Fool', he knew who I am and was, and he was here to warn me about an imminent attack on Earth in a day or two, with 6 other heroes who will help and defend Earth with me." He says. "I've got to go back to the FOS, and prepare myself for it, don't go out in the next two days, it will be dangerous." He continues, as he prepares to leave the apartment.

Back to Klein, he is on his way to the second Hero, Barry Allen, otherwise known as 'The Flash', who resides in central city with his partner Iris West. Arriving at his home, Klein repeats the same thing to The Flash, who was much more tame than superman but still had a sense of duty and urgency.

Finishing with the flash, Klein makes his way too J'onn J'onzz otherwise known as Martian manhunter. After the conversation the Martian tried to read Kleins mind. This however did not go as planned;

"ARGHHHH" The Martians screams as he starts to bleed from his orifices.

"JUST WHAT ARE YOU!" He screams

"You shouldn't of done that. You should understand the phrase 'Do not look directly at a God', you tried to look at my inner-self, next time do not do that. There are some beings you can afford to look at." Klein warns the Martian before wiping the corruption from him with his abilities.

Leaving the Martian to his thoughts, Klein disappears and arrives at coast city, where the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan live. He however knew more about extraterrestrial beings;

"The lanterns haven't gotten any news about an invasion, it's either your lying, or the lanterns don't know, so I think that you are lying. However the fact that you know who I am is concerning, I need to take you in." The green lantern threatens, causing Klein to raise and eyebrow before laughing. A mortal imprisoning a Great Old One. If this was known back in his old world, he will be a laughing stock.

Finishing his laugh, he watches as how the ring scans him, when all of a sudden it says,

"[Warning! Warning! Malfunctioning!]" then the light dims as if it doesn't work anymore.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!" He shouts at Klein.

Klein just raises his eyebrows before teleporting away from this ungrateful person. He has no manners. Leaving the ungrateful Lantern, Klein reappears in Atlanta, under the sea. He appears in the throne room, where there was the king and queen as well as solders.

"WHO ARE YOU! AND HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE!" Says a Aquaman as the star to surround him with spears.

"I am here to meet the King about an alien invasion happening soon which may affect the fate of the Earth if not prepared well." He says calmly looking at the King.

"Arthur Curry, otherwise known as Orin, AKA Aquaman, a malevolent being will descend onto this Earth to spread Death and Entropy to all. As one of the fated hero's you must prepare well for the invasion which will occur either tomorrow or the day after." Klein warns before disappearing.

'Why do these Hero have such terrible personalities. I miss the Tarot club where they would follow my words as if it was a decree from God. *sigh*' Klein thinks with a small smile of his face as he thinks of his Tarot Club.

Now for the final hero. A human, who fights against superpowered individuals with merely his intellect and riches, Batman.

Arriving at Gotham, which resembles the eastern borough of Buckland, he arrives at a huge manor, where the enigmatic hero lives.

Knocking on the door, I patiently wait for someone to answer.

After a few second an man in his 60's opens the door;

"Greetings, may I ask who you may be?" He asks

"Greeting Alfred Pennyworth, you may address me as 'The Fool'. I am here to meet your master, Bruce Wayne about an important issue that must have his full attention." Klein responds to the butler.

"Alright, I will call the Master, please come in. Would you like some tea?" The butler invites.

"No thank you, I'll just say my piece before leaving, thank you for asking otherwise."

After a few minutes, the butler returns with Bruce Wayne and two other people.

"Greetings Bruce Wayne, you guys must be Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson. Hello." Klein says, in which the three kid there heads with a smile.

"Hello Mr. Fool, may I ask why you've come to my manor?" Bruce Wayne asks as he tried to gauge Kleins intentions.

"Well there are many reason for me to come to your manor, but the most important one would be a warning." Klein responds to Bruce Wayne's question.

"A warning?" Bruce asks as the bat-family start to tense as if ready for a fight.

"No no, I'm not threatening you. I'm just about to warn you, Batman, that there will be an imminent attack on Earth happening tomorrow, or the day after. A malevolent being will descend with an army to cause death and entropy to Earth. Fate has shown you and six other heroes will defend the Earth from the upcoming attack. I am here merely to advice you to prepare for them. They will not stop until they are pushed back." Klein warns them, causing this to freeze as many thoughts were running through their heads.

"How do you know about me?" Bruce Wayne asks.

"That is a question for another time Bruce Wayne. I am here just to warn you, so that you may prepare for the attack on Earth."

Realising the attack is more crucial then his identity getting exposed, he calms down and asks for more information about the attack in which Klein gives.

After an hour or two of Q&A, Klein gets ready to leave before he says his final warning;

"Bruce Wayne, another reason why I have come to you is that Gotham is saturated with a heavy curse, causing people to align themselves with evil. This is a demonic curse which affects the soul. That is why Gotham will always have crime if the curse is not dealt with." Klein says, dropping a bomb onto the bat-family.

"W-What!?" Bruce says only to realise Klein has dissapeared. Now he understands what people feel whenever he disappears on them.

Realising the urgency of the invasion, he assembles the bat-family in order to create plans for the invasion.

After making all the hero's panic, Klein returns to his home, watching T.V whiles eating some popcorn as if he didn't cause the whole hero community to fall into panic.

Hey guys, how did you find this chapter. I wanted to introduce the other hero's into the story so I thought this could be the best way.

Do you think my depiction of each hero is correct? I tried to stick as closely as possible to their real personalities.
