297 Chapter 214: Fire Mage vs Admiral Hurricane 1/2
The Fire Crows flew quickly with a clear objective, Qilangos looked at them and smiled arrogantly.
With a wave of his hand, a strong wind hit the Crows causing them to crash against the wall or the floor.
Not caring that his attack had missed, Adryan threw his spear hard and it flew with speed towards the pirate.
Qilangos kept his smile and skillfully used the wind to move still sideways letting the spear pass by him without doing anything to him.
Adryan smiled sharply at this and snapped his fingers.
At the same time as it was passing by his side, the flaming spear glowed for a second. That was all the warning the pirate had who formed air cushion around him as water covered his body.
BOOM!
A powerful explosion engulfed him and sent him flying backward and crashing hard into the back wall. The Air Cushioner had protected him quite well but not completely.
"Urghhh" Qilangos grunted seeing how his arms had turned pink from the burns. But he didn't have time to watch any longer as Adryan didn't stop attacking.
Looking up, Qilangos saw how a huge torrent of raging fire was coming towards him.
"Shit!"
Stretching his hands out in front, a powerful stream of air was summoned and slammed into the torrent stopping it before it reached him and even pushing it back. Suddenly the torrent of fire disappeared, but not the torrent of wind, which continued to blow till it blew the wall to pieces, causing the cold of the street to enter the room.
Before the pirate could react, one of the small flames burning on the floor suddenly rose high, and out of it came Adryan and with a powerful fist covered in fire, he connected it to the man's face.
The sound of a nose breaking sounded in the room but Adryan did not stop but taking advantage of the fact that Qilangos was still dazed, he formed a dagger of fire in his flaming hand and stabbed it aiming at the man's head.
In that instant, Creeping Hunger changed to a majestic golden color, and from Qilangos' green eyes, a flash of green lightning came out.
Psychic Piercing!
Adryan froze in his movement and blood spurted from his nose. Severely stunned, he barely had time to cross his arms to block the Wind-blessed's powerful fist!
Veins pulsed in the neck of the man who attacked with a powerful fist full of rage!

As the fist connected, Adryan was sent flying into the street and crashed into the wall of the opposing building.

Reappearing a few meters away from where he had originally been, Adryan let out a grunt feeling his arms shaking and his head burning.
'If I hadn't reinforced my body with Tauk Millennium that blow would have broken my arms!'
"haha... They don't say sailors are the physically strongest pathway for nothing." Adryan said with a sharp grin as he watched Qilangos walk out of the shattered house.
Blood was dripping from his broken nose and his arms had severe second-degree burns but otherwise, he was fine, water was enveloping his arms cleaning and healing the wounds.
'His skin is too tough... that should be because of the scales right? Close combat is useless... a hit from me is no match for one of his... So this is sequence 6 eh?' The redhead thought, his smile sharpening even more.
The feeling in his arms was returning quickly.
Qilangos looked at him seriously before giving a dark smile.
"I was worried for a second there. I thought with my slip up I killed you and ruined my job. You have more tricks than I thought."
Adryan frowned, doubt on his mind.
'Job? What the fuck is he talking about? Didn't you come to Backlund to kill Backerland?'
"I'm sorry but I don't talk little bitch so you'll have to explain yourself better." Adryan teased as he clenched his fists. The feeling had returned to his arms.
Veins swelled in the neck of the man who growled and then laughed with barely contained fury swimming in his tone.
"And ruin the surprise? Nah, I don't think so. They need you alive but I don't think they'll mind if I cut off your legs and arms!" The man said with a smile waving his hand.
'What?' the information the pirate had said surprised the redhead but not being stunned by it. He raised his hand and pointed it towards Qilangos. He clenched his fist and moved his hand violently to the right.
Seeing that the man was not going to dodge his attack, Qilangos' eyes widened in surprise but a sound to his side made him raise his arm and leg to cover himself.
"Urghhh son of a bitch!"
Knives of fire sank into his flesh and glowed for a second before exploding and sending Qilangos flying.
As he flew he watched in shock as his attack hit the buildings to the redhead's sides leaving deep gashes but none touched the redhead.
Falling hard to the ground the hurricane pirate allowed himself a second to look at his wounds.
The pink flesh turned black and blood dripped from several holes in his left leg and arm.
'He used the fire that was left in the house and attacked me with that!' the man thought painfully as water engulfed his arm and leg.
With a quick movement, he stood up and jumped to the side avoiding the barrage of fire blades that landed there and exploded with force.
'Despite having those wounds he can still move so well? That skin of his is ridiculous!' Adryan thought in annoyance as the fire bow was formed and taking aim, he fired three arrows at the same time.
These arrows were deflected by a wall of wind and Qilangos growled at him.
The color of the glove on his left hand changed to a red one with black spots.
Adryan's vision remained the same but thanks to his specialty he noticed it instantly.
'He put me in a dream!' without wasting a single second, Adryan forced himself to wake up and just opened his eyes to see how Qilangos was already in front of him.
Instead of panicking, he smiled sharply and his fist burst into flames.
'He woke up that fast?!' The pirate thought groggily but shook off that thought and veins pulsed in his arm.
A mighty fist of fury aimed at the masked man's side. If this landed and the man didn't make an exchange in time all his ribs were going to break.
'What?!'
But Qilangos watched in complete shock as his fist moved and missed!
His fist went harmlessly past the man's side leaving his head exposed!
THUMP!
On the other hand, Adryan's fist of fire connected with power in the middle of the pirate's face!
But Adryan was not happy with that but growled in frustration and formed a flaming sword with which he tried to stab the man in the chest but a push of wind blew it away from him.
'Where is it?' Adryan thought angrily as his eyes stared almost unblinkingly at the pirate.
Ever since he tried to sneak attack the man, his spiritual vision had been activated.
In his eyes, the navy blue aura was moving so violently that it looked more like a barely contained gale and it was moving with power ready to crush him.
But that wasn't what he was looking for!
He was looking for the red zone!
'I already attacked all the common weak spots but nothing worked, I need to see the red zone and hit it!' This was his instinct and from every exchange he had with the man, he knew it was the only way.
Watching as the man stood up, and shot him a furious glare with his face completely burned. Adryan sighed calming himself and raised his arms, both arms were covered in flames that burned with power.
'Stay calm Adryan. The red zone only appears every so often. In sequence 7 beyond it appears every 20 seconds... In higher sequence Beyonders it should take longer to appear... When it appears I can't miss the chance! I have to attack with everything!' the red-haired man thought resolutely as he hit the ground with both arms.
Flames spread and cut the street in half.
Water covered more than half of Qilangos' body as he moved his hand and the fire was blown away by a strong current of wind.
But not all the fire disappeared, and large fireballs were moving rapidly on the ground and Adryan was running after them with a fire sword in his right hand.
From the time the battle started until now. 1 minute and 10 seconds have passed.
