Chapter 30 - Secrets and Goals

For exactly fifteen minutes, Navi spoke on the phone and, with deep relief, hung up.

"It's quite strange that they are trying to tell me how important Silver Key is."

Navi had been trying to seize the silver key for exactly one year. Her expenses had already surpassed one billion jenny.

The silver key is valuable to almost anyone for a simple but powerful reason.

The Silver Key was a key, as its name suggests, and it was used to enter unentered, locked places. Navi obtained access to the old historical records about it and knew about its existence.

The silver key was not a simple object. It was, in fact, a "nen" object from the Black Continent. It was most likely an item composed of the post-mortem nen of an entity born on the black continent.

The ability it had was that almost 99% of the existing locks and doors could be opened without any conditions, no matter how difficult it was. The user does not have to be a Nen user. An ordinary individual with a silver key can use the key to open almost any place that is locked or has a door.

It was clear how valuable this kind of item could be.

The Mad Woman Andes had borrowed the key from herself and promised herself that she would bring it back.

Naturally, Navi wasn't stupid enough to believe such a "promise." However, Andes' significant secrets and words gave her reason to believe her promise.

A few hours later, Axel and Navi met at a café and were having dessert. Axel also drank filter coffee alongside the cheese dessert. After looking at Axel for a while, Navi squinted slightly and asked an unexpected question.

"How come you've never asked me a question about my personal life?"

Axel gently sipped his coffee, grabbed a piece of dessert with his fork, and after throwing it in his mouth, he started to speak in a relaxed and calm tone.

"You're a smart woman; I believe if you want to say something about yourself, you will."

"If you want your personal information to remain private, you will not tell me in any way." So, I don't need to ask."

Navi took a light breath, closed her eyes, took a sip of her coffee, and then began to speak. Her face showed clear admiration for Axel.

"I don't understand how a young man like you has such important and valuable information about women."

Axel laughed out loud and didn't answer. After waiting for a while, Navi changed the subject and started talking.

"When are you going to leave here?" I'm sure you'll be leaving Heaven's Arena after a certain period of time. "This is a very small place for someone like you."

Axel nodded and began to speak.

"I have to complete some things before leaving."

Navi was a little quiet, and after noticing that Axel wasn't saying more, she didn't say anything, and after giving out a cold breath, she focused on her coffee.

Yorknew City Events would begin within the next 20 to 25 days.

By then, Axel wanted to participate in at least five more fights and increase his experience. He had no intention of fighting the Phantom Troupe. But if one of them wanted to kill him, he would do his best to make it easy.

The best way he could protect himself in this regard was to have the necessary experience and skills he could use in different situations and conditions.

"I know what to do. I'll make sure no one can stop me."

Axel thought about it and finished his coffee.
