38 Dragon Slayer

The ever honorable, prideful, and amazing dragon allows me to shoot my shot first, of course she would.

I grin on the inside. Her pride and anger are great to my advantage.

As she floats menacingly in front of me, I silently charge the strongest explosion I can make.

Unfortunately, I once again overestimated her. The moment she realized what I was doing, she immediately let go of her pride and tried to stop me with a fire breath.

'Too late.'

I release the explosion from my forehead and it tears right through her fire breath and explodes in front of her face.

It was an immature combustion without much power behind it, but it was still powerful enough to destroy the Fire Palace of the Fire Nation. I'm impressed, she took it head-on.

As she wobbles in the air, disoriented from the explosion, I send two fire missiles from both of my hands without giving her a chance to recover.

She realizes it and tries to dodge it but they follow her head and hit both sides of her head.

I prepare to send another explosion. Missiles were just to distract her so that I could create a proper combustion for her.

'Your senses are kind of rusty aren't they?'

It's really disappointing how easy it's going. I secretly glance back to check on her brother. For the entirety of the battle, half of my focus is on him. I can't have him attack me from behind after all.

With a smile, I release my last explosion, just strong enough to kill her.

''ENOUGH!'' suddenly a wave of rainbow fire spreads and pushes back my premature combustion in it's ball like form.

'Oh shit!'

I quickly throw myself off the platform with small explosion coming out of my feet while raising my hands to block the inevitable damage that would come from the explosion.

I guess a human beating her so easily did more than just tickling her pride this time.

But it doesn't matter. Even if she's going all out from now on, I'm much stronger than before.

I secretly smile at my system as my slightly burnt arms and aching insides heal thanks to the potions I auto-drank with the inventory's function.

Few things I see there are upsetting, but they're to discuss later. I'm busy with an angry dragon that decided to go all out.

'I can finish this fast now.'

In truth, I wasn't going all out as well. I just wanted her to show me the dragon fire to complete my mission as soon as possible.

I thrust both of my hands to my back and use combustion bending through my and feet, followed up with jet propulsion from all 4 four of my limbs.

Almost instantly, I'm on top of her. My true speed when I go all out like this is incredible, especially since my vitality got to the A+ rank and I can use combustion release more freely without hurting myself.

Her eyes follow my movements and she instantly dodges me as I tried to land on top of her. She's fast and I doubt she will let me get on top of her so easily anymore.

'Woah!' as she wiggles her body out of my sight, she leaves a trail of dragon fire.

I expected her to be able to use firebending without her mouth, but it's still surreal to see her leave a sea of flames as she traveled through the air with a speed that matched my own.

Well, her agility is S-, so it's not unexpected.

I chase after her with my previous move while sending combustions through my forehead and breathing fire through my mouth. Unfortunately, she is playing safe now. She's trying to damage me with either her colossal body or the fire that she leaves behind.

'I would never lose a battle of attrition though. How amusing.'

[Dragon Fire Debuff: 0.1% Corrosive damage every second]

I can understand her strategy behind this but my potions heal more than this.

I need to innovate.

I previously wanted to suddenly land on head and slice her head with Excalibur. I don't think there is anything that can defend against that sword's attack, but it seems she's too cautious for me to do something like that.

'Sigh, Alright then, I will try that.'

I land to the ground and go through the motions I previously saw in the Neet's memories.

[New Firebending Technique: Lightningbending]

Yeah, I kinda knew it would work, but it's still amazing nonetheless.

Due to all the bonuses I have towards learning firebending, I doubt even fire spirits can reach my talent in this area.

The small sparks in my hand suddenly grow as the system registers lightning bending under my techniques. Since it's a technique of firebending, I'm a pinnacle level lightning bender now.

Her eyes widens, she knows she can't dodge this one.

She opens her mouth wide and breaths the biggest fire I've seen so far.

I stop the motions and casually release the lightning spear from my hand.

My eyes slip to the side as my the lightning leaves my hand. Red Dragon will make his move now, but he's too late. He can only avenge her now.

Under the shocked eyes of the two dragons, my lightning pierces through her fire and goes through her mouth.

I don't know the biology of the dragons, but I'm pretty sure her now scorched head is pretty important to her.

I can't blame them really. I've never given any indication of lightning bending, even when she gave me the first attack. That was the obvious place for me to use it as it requires time to set up. They probably thought I didn't know lightning bending after seeing me use combustion bending instead of it.

'All according to the Keikaku' I laughed to myself on the inside.

I've pretty much won this battle already. She's probably not dead yet, but she is definitely not in a position to fight properly and the Red Dragon can't win against me 1 on 1.
