Stating this, a smile slowly crept across Lorien's face as he looked at the two groups before him, mentally categorizing each one.

'A Devil seeking glory or perhaps revenge, a Fiend with a few screws loose, a handful of cowards, a pirate, a child grappling with severe depression, and a bit of a horn dog.'

'Speaking of this horn dog, this guy is quite interesting to watch, however, he is my least favorite MC.'

'While he might be the most 'human' of the MCs I know, he just never learns.'

However, as he thought of this, Lorien quickly shook his head and decided to ignore him.

'Well, it's none of my business, as long as he doesn't get in the way, then everything is okay.'

'Moreover, his ability as the Chainsaw Man to erase concepts from the world is very unique which is very much worth studying.'

Thinking of this ability, Lorien's thoughts naturally gravitated toward the intricate link between devils and the various aspects of the world.

Mainly, it was this interconnectedness that facilitated Chainsaw Man's unique abilities, allowing him to eat the devils and completely erase their concepts.

After all, if there weren't a link between them, erasing the devil wouldn't result in the concept itself being removed from the world.

'Tsk, the previous JJK world, albeit flawed, used sorcerers and curses as a way to utilize the negative energy in the world to enhance and evolve itself.'

'However, the CM world went even further by directly giving birth to Law Level creatures who are linked to negative emotions and get stronger through it.'

'This way, the stronger the creatures get, the more powerful and perfect the world's rules are.'

'Moreover, because there is no direct absorption of negative energy, there is basically no risk of the world getting affected by it.'

'Additionally, it seems that the devil's power is only limited to fear felt in the present moment and is not cumulative which also prevents the devil's from becoming infinitely stronger and affecting the world in turn.'

'There is also the somewhat good-natured devil that acts as the world's security switch and is used to erase factors that are too damaging to the world.'

'Now that I clearly thought about it, frankly, ever since I started traveling, this is the most perfect internal and natural ecosystem for the world's evolution that I have ever seen.'

'It's just that...'

His brows furrowing, Lorien turned his head to the side, his gaze piercing through the obstructions as he watched the humans nearby run for their lives.

'No matter how good such a system is for the world, it's actually very bad for the human race as they are being pushed to a corner.'

'With no power of their own, all they could do was wait for some devil's charity or sacrifice themselves for self-protection.'

'The only thing truly given and is exclusive to the human race is the power of [Contracts].

'This could also be seen from the fact that Devils could only establish it with humans and not between themselves.'

'So, I highly suspect that the power of [Contracts] doesn't originate from the devils but actually from the humans.'

'Tsk, and here is another thing to research I guess...'

Shaking his head, Lorien couldn't help but release a helpless sigh, contemplating his next steps in this world.

'Usually, when I go to any world, I would simply start spreading the [Dream Trees] and the [Dream Path] which will allow me to receive [Luck] from the world as a remuneration for the aid and help given to it.'

'However, such an approach is impossible in this world as these systems highly overlap with the existing evolution system and may even disrupt it thereby affecting the world's evolution.'

'So, I highly suspect that if I were to launch them like I usually do, not only will I not receive [Luck], but I may also get kicked out from the world.'

Thinking of this, Lorien felt stuck, unsure of how to proceed as he found himself in uncharted territory, facing a situation unlike any he had encountered before.

'What should I do now...'

'Moreover, somewhat also want to help the humans here improve their situation.'

'The smell of despair in the air is truly appalling...No wonder a large number of the people who appeared in the original have some mental problems.'

However, as they reached here, Aki swiftly intervened, preventing them from speaking any further as he looked at Lorien with worriedly.

After all, observing Lorien's actions thus far and witnessing how effortlessly he sealed the devil, Aki couldn't shake the feeling that the man before him was quite powerful.

Moreover, with his silver hair, golden eyes, and a transcendent demeanor, alongside an appearance that seemed to transcend mere humanity, Aki didn't think that the guy in front of him was even human.

"Shut up you two!"

Saying this, Aki then turned his head towards Lorien which happened to be just in time for both of them to make eye contact which created an unexpected moment of intensity.

Caught off guard by the directness of the exchange and the palpable aura of power emanating from Lorien's gaze, Aki felt a slight nervousness creeping in.

'He heard that hasn't he...'

'This might be bad...'

It's just that to Aki's surprise, the man in front of him only glanced at them for a moment before redirecting his attention to the sealed Eternity Devil and said out loud.

"A Law-Level being, a good experimental subject."

"Who knows, dealing with it might solve my problems."
