George POV
"Underestimating is not good because I actually did that to myself knowing the chances I would create for bamford to eliminate me, but I took a quick thought about that and realized that no one is perfect and if I just put my head to it, I could win. Well, 20% win and 80% lose. Bamford failed because he was too determined, and I thought I was going to lose, visualizing myself as the weak and bamford as the strong, but things turned around",
"Are you surprised?" I smiled at bamford",
"No, actually yes" he responded. "Yo, Mr. Swordsman, how is it going, eh?, I guess that loss should open your eyes" Kidd joked.
"Shut up Kidd" Bamford scowled as they all started laughing. Laina came up and gave an announcement,"Since bamford have been eliminated, I'm whereby pairing Ann with Sophia and George with Kidd,Ann, you could have weapon" Laina said. This will be interesting with the all-time challenge of boys vs. girls I am now a champion by beating a champion or should I say ex champion, how I did it was wonderful and surprising,If someone had told bamford that I'd beat him, he would have laughed to the brink of death.
"You really put up a good fight for bamford there" Kidd said, "Good one".
"Thanks" I said in return. The group planned out something to make bamford more furious about his loss and I noticed that when i yawned and said I was hungry, suddenly they all came with some snacks, to be a precise lot of snacks and offered me but when Bamford saw what they gave me and ask for some, they all snubbed him and continued offering, Kidd did a fake give and ended putting the biscuits he brought to bamford in his mouth. The action angered bamford as he chased kidd.
LAINA POV
This time I tried to sleep and did not want bamford to pick up any suspicion and I also left my light on. I couldn't hold myself and I also needed to see her, I don't care if bamford follows me. I came out of my tent I was unable to hold myself and I also needed to see her, I don't care if bamford follows me. Furthermore, I came out of my tent to my greatest surprise I could hear bamford snoring out loud, "This is who I worried about picking suspicions"The snoring was so loud I guess he had gotten to dreamland, maybe there he could win George in his own way. I went to the apple tree and didn't see her and that was when I remembered she didn't tell me her name.
"Hello, siren, my friend, woman bird" I shouted."Shut up, do you want to attract your friends again like before?" The siren said while flying down from a tree.
"I am so sorry for what happened last time" I apologized.
"No grudges, this time is only for the apples" She said. I switch on my torch to help her in plucking the apples as she said, "You know I can see in the dark, so you can save your torch. It is not that useful now."
"I switch on the torch for a reason and that is I will take half of what you plucked" I said.
"Or if I finish, you could ask" She said while trying to reach for an apple above her.
"I guess you used magic to improve your eyesight?" I said.
"Yeah, it also helps in battling." She said, "Most at times, our enemies avoid using fire to battle at night so it won't be light and also benefit them in attacking stealthily, so we the high-flyers enhance our eyesight if we don't want to be killed in the battlefield. Well, I utilize mine in plucking these."
"You guys and battles are best of friends" I joked."Well what do you expect, when your city is unprotected and is full of people with gifts" She said.
"And I guess why you guys get attacked was so that the enemies can capture the gifted and enhance their magic, or do they have magic or gifted ones?" I asked."They have, but ours is stronger, we hold the world power" She said.
"How?"
"Through Lord Fred, we are also rich in mineral resources. There was a time gold lost its value in Dragonia and the king used it in building houses and chariots" She said.
"That should Lord Fred" I said.
"No, it's true. I haven't explained this part.
"In Dragonia, a King is different from a Lord. A King is someone who rules and does what a normal king should.....blah…blah, but a Lord is someone who has enhanced in magic and protects the kingdom from any danger. He/she faces strong foes that can wipe the kingdom in a blink of an eye, and to become a Lord is not that easy. I can remember many enemies Lord Fred faced, I just gave you a brief description of him because a full one would waste a lot of time" She explained."
"Wow" I got amazed and said.
"We have so many acknowledgeable names like City of Gold, City of Victory, City of the gifted, City of Intelligence, City of Warriors, City of Comedy",
"Comedy??!!!"
"Yes and a lot of others" She said.
"I'm sure you made that up" I said.
"Yes I did"
"But some are not made up. We acquired them through Lord Fred Hermes" She exclaimed.
"I guess you will be the ones attracting my friends now" I said.
"Oh, sorry. Allow me to continue, Lord Fred lee Dragonia for 40 years and could have exceeded. He became Lord at the age of 20 and did numerous exploits that saved Dragonia and make grow in strength and power, giving us world power. He recruited both gifted and non-gifted to fight for Dragonia. They had various clans.The commander of the Force that fought for Dragonia, Chief Fjord, that was Lord Fred step-brother were departed from each other when they were little and themselves in Dragonia's 2nd war. He had jealousy of Lord Fred because of his position and to be greater took some risky and unwise decisions on the battlefield which gave Dragonia a big loss. Although he encouraged Lord Fred when he was young because people thought that he was too young to give instructions and orders, but they came back when he conquered a country on his own.He put in a lot of effort in Dragonia and we really appreciated it" She explained.
"To save time, why don't call Fred anytime you are explaining" I said.
"Nope, I must give that acknowledgement", "Anyway, he came to his downfall when…."
