21 21. {CARBAYONIC SHIFTING ALLOY}

William had cursed the whole family of these long-eared bastards inwardly, but outwardly, he put a smile that would put bootlickers to shame.

"I have noted that you have declared war on the Krossarrs in the coming three months." The Crown Princess quipped. Her was clear and smooth and would lull an adult into sleep, but William's smile was strained as the Crown princess brought up the matter of Krossarr.

They were an economic giant in this system but that didn't matter to William, but he didn't think that it would stretch far into other systems.

"Yes, Your Majesty, The Krossarrs have been adding and causing unrest throughout... Dawn Planet. It is getting too obvious for us to ignore their intentions to war with us." William really didn't like where this was going, but he had to push forth no matter what was happening.

The Crown Princess looked at William with her immolating eyes that seemed to pry secrets from the darkness. She put her legs on top of each other as her expression turned slightly amused.

"Do you think that you can wage war with two factions at the same time? No matter the weapon that you used to end the tin can, that won't work against a multitude of enemies."

'What does that have to do with you, long-eared freak!" William nodded his head and replied, "Your advice has been duly noted, Your Majesty." He bowed a little to show his respect and continued. "I am honored by your visit your Highness, but is there anything else you wish to discuss with me, your Majesty,"

The princess smiled as she twirled her smooth blonde hair and her smile turned even more evident.

"Straight to the point, I see?" The princess nodded as though she was agreeing with herself, and continued. "If you live through this ordeal..." She paused, clearly not knowing his name, and the previous well-built man came to help.

He looked at the princess and the princess's eyes flickered "William, then come to our system. I will give you the manual to harness mana. In turn... I need your help to clean up some mess. Will you help me, William?" She looked pitiful as she put forth a sad expression.

And William was almost fell for the trick. The princess's pitiful expression tugged at his sympathies, but he knew that he couldn't afford to let his guard down. In the cutthroat world of interstellar politics, trust was a scarce commodity, and William knew better than to blindly accept the princess's offer without considering the consequences.

"Yes, your Highness," Despite his reservations and the gnawing sense of unease that lingered within him, William couldn't deny the potential benefits of harnessing mana for the growth and prosperity of his kingdom.

The allure of increased strength and power was tantalizing, offering a tantalizing glimpse of a future where his realm thrived and prospered beyond measure.

As the conversation concluded, the Crown Princess bestowed upon William a sweet smile that belied the gravity of their discussion. With a nod of acknowledgment, she seemed to regard him with the same fondness one might reserve for a cherished pet.

With a sense of relief, William watched as the Elven delegation departed, their attention shifting to the peculiar vessel awaiting them.

Though outwardly serene, William's mind buzzed with questions as he observed the departure of the Elven delegation. The sight of their unusual mode of transportation—a tree shaped like a ship—only added to the enigma surrounding the High Athelvon Empire.

As the 'treeship' prepared for departure, an otherworldly spectacle unfolded before William's eyes. The ancient symbols and hieroglyphs adorning its bark glowed with an ethereal light, casting a mesmerizing aura that seemed to bend space.

William breathed a sigh of relief and went to work.

As William delved into his duties with renewed determination, a sense of relief washed over him. With the departure of the Crown Princess, the immediate threat seemed to dissipate, allowing him to focus on the tasks at hand. The kingdom hummed with activity, and William found himself immersed in the intricacies of governance and leadership.

Yet, even as he threw himself into his work with gusto, the toll of sleepless nights began to weigh heavily on him. The demands of his position left little time for rest, and William found himself struggling to maintain his composure in the face of exhaustion.

Gwen had given an earful when he seemed to faint in the middle of the military speech that seemed to welcome some new regiments.

His [Perfect Body] skill offered some respite, buffering him against the worst effects of fatigue, but even its miraculous abilities had their limits.

As the days wore on, William found himself teetering on the edge of exhaustion, his mind fraying at the edges as he battled to keep up with the relentless pace of his duties.

Yet, despite the challenges he faced, he refused to succumb to despair. With steely determination, he pressed on, knowing that the fate of his kingdom depended on his unwavering resolve.

At the end of the third month, a breakthrough in the kingdom's research efforts brought a glimmer of hope amidst the challenges that plagued the Dawn Kingdom.

Head Researcher Kevin, now at the helm following the purge of his predecessor, had achieved a remarkable feat—a new alloy steel with unprecedented capabilities.

The previous purge had also dealt with the previous Head Reascher, with the charges of betraying the Dawn Kingdom by trying to sell tech. Now the head researcher was Kevin and was doing a damn good job about it.

The discovery of the {Carbayonic Shifting Alloy} marked a significant milestone for the Dawn Kingdom. As Head Researcher Kevin unveiled the alloy's capabilities, excitement rippled through the kingdom's corridors of power.

"This Carbayonic Shifting Alloy," Kevin began, his voice reverberating with anticipation, "will not only bolster our military strength but also empower every sector of our kingdom."

His words ignited a spark of hope among the gathered council members. The prospect of harnessing such versatile technology promised to elevate the kingdom's standing on the world stage.

"With its unique properties," Kevin continued, "we can create a new unit for our military, equipped with weaponry and armor forged from this alloy. But its impact will extend far beyond the battlefield."

Nods of agreement rippled through the assembly as Kevin outlined his vision. The Carbayonic Shifting Alloy, though not revolutionary in itself, held the potential to bring incremental improvements to every facet of the kingdom's infrastructure.

"Selling these hotcakes," Kevin quipped with a wry smile, "will be akin to a windfall for our kingdom. While it may not spark a revolution, it will certainly provide a much-needed boost to our economy and contribute to the prosperity of our people."

With unanimous approval, plans were set in motion to integrate the Carbayonic Shifting Alloy into various sectors of the kingdom. From transportation and construction to agriculture and commerce, its impact would be felt far and wide.

William smiled. These 'Hotcakes' as Kevin had mentioned, would be one of the key resources to turn his whole army into a Tier 1 Legion.

William had also found that Kevin was also doing a side project that would create a proper artillery that would take the base idea of [Hellspawn], which William waited with much anticipation.
