Twenty days later inside the head commander tent , Sakumo masaged his head carrying a worried look on his face. Beside him Shikaku was standing holding an unfurled scroll which was the reason of their anxiety.

" Damn.. that Chiyo old woman. We are already having trouble with her poison and now she even planned such an ambush. "

Shikaku shook his head as he seemed to disagree with Sakumo.

" No Sakumo san, I think that Ebizo is the one behind this plan because Pakura and almost two hundred Suna elites were deployed even uniformed to their main camp much less us. Chiyo is not capable of such an ingenious plan. Anyway , we should first focus on confirming the actual location of this ambush group to confirm their route. Now we only know that they were seen coincidently by a Konoha genin from the Iwa battlefront . The information is too low to form any plans. "

Sakumo silently cursed Shikaku inwardly because he was annoyed so much because of this matter since few hours already so Shikaku did not need to say it again. Almost two hundred Konoha ninja were currently in critical condition due to the poison of Chiyo and they were nowhere near inventing an antidote for it yet. There were even more than twenty jonin and three elite jonin in that group of poisoned allies.

The battle with Suna had already escalated to the point that day before yesterday Kage level shinobi were forced to participate but no result could be determined yet. Chiyo and Kazekage combo was dangerous and they even brought their Jinchuriki for the battle. Fortunately Jiraya was sent here few days ago so they managed to live through the battle.

Suddenly Sakumo remembered about Yami who had shown veteran jonin level strenght even though his chakra reserves and stamina seemed to be nowhere that level yet. He still had that extreme speed with which he killed Suna jonin many times now in seconds.

This time the mission was information gathering so the ninja needed to be an elite in tracking skills plus speed was of importance too. Sakumo did not know about Yami's tracking skills but his extreme speed was more than enough to entrust this mission to him.

Sakumo looked at Shikaku with a small smile as he already came to a decision . " Shikaku, I want to send Yami alone for this mission."

Shikaku was shocked as he did not think that Sakumo would say this. " but Yami has no tracking experience. I agree that he is the best choice from our current available forces but why him alone ? We can send one Shinji with him too as he could scout with his Bugs and is Yami's subordinate too. "

Sakumo shook his head in disapproval . " No Yami needs to go alone. Sensor ninja would delay his speed and this mission's priority is speed. Even Hyuga's byakugan has limited range and the area we need to search through is hundreds of kilometers. "

After few more discussions Shikaku sighed and had to agree with Sakumo but worry could not be hidden from him eyes as Yami was his treasured student .

The Yami they were talking about was enjoying his days very much. He was already only a few kill points away from reaching the required number to completely purify his Uchiha bloodline. He was lazing around inside his small personal tent after a round of heavy body training when he was summoned to the head commander's tent. Yami went there and accepted the mission grudgingly because he was only few points away from perfect Uchiha bloodline now. It was not guaranteed whether he could leisurely kill enemies during this mission because the area of search was too wide.

He was given seven days of time to report the enemy group's location which was more than enough for him because he could just use shadow clones to search wide area in a day combined with his S rank sensor skill's wide range which was more than four kilometers long now. He also had the sharingan which could see through the illusion traps of the enemies easily and track their small hidden traces.

Still hundreds of kilometers was too wide and if he was unlucky then maybe he would need to use full seven days to locate the enemy group. He could not fight two hundred enemies who had one kage level , few elite jonin and many jonin level ninjas alone with his current capabilities. Pakura was a kage level shinobi from his anime knowledge so he had no doubt of her strenght and Scorch style's might.

He needed to kill all of them if he wanted to use Flying Thunder god to deal with them because he could not afford to expose his true powers yet.

Yami lazily walked towards his small tent while sighing because he was unwilling but had no choice to complete the mission. He packed his few things which were his uniform and few throwing weapons only and left the base camp alone after notifying his three subordinates that he was going out for a mission. They had become much stronger now pleasing Yami because the battles helped them quickly increase train their stealth skill and many battle strategies. Even their chakra had increased by a good amount due to constantly breaking their mental and physical limits. Yami now considered them part of his family because he was alone in this world and only had few close people. Now Shimizu, Miki and Shinji were more important to him than even Minato because they had spent much time together strengthening their bond mutually.

Yami dispelled all his clones who were practicing inside his hidden underground base and smirked because finally his clones created a useful seal formula and mastered it. He again created ten clones and left them inside the base. Five for fuinjutsu and other five for training his sharingan and getting familiar with the newly enhanced powers...

He may not be able to come back for many days after all so shadow clones were the best to gain experience..
