Chapter 1: Backstory

Jinsoo Kang, A normal high school student. But his ugly and fat.

"A normal life... That's what I wanted. "

"Simple right? I guess.. It's simple if you meet the society standards."

"Couldn't they just accept me? I'm still a human, After all.. That's what I think, People around me thinks I'm a pig and a toy to be used of..."

Jinsoo Kang sat alone.. In a dark room thinking all about this.

"I want to know how it feels to be loved... Even in the slightest bit, But.. Is it possible? For me... Not."

Jinsoo Kang sighed as he lays on the cold concrete floor, Staring at the ceiling.

"Only a miracle could save me from this... Lonely darkness, Hated by society."

"I never actually know my parents.. They abandoned me, After that.. My aunt started to taking care of me... "

"It was all going well until I reached the age of 15.. My aunt started dating this one guy and they eventually got married. "

"What's wrong? Well.. That's also what I thought, Until that man started to talk to my aunt about me getting seperated from the house. "

"That's what happened.... And here I am, Lonely in this room. Well, My aunt before visited me frequently, To mainly give me some money that is good enough for the next week. "

"But not too long after.. My aunt stopped visiting me.. I don't know why but.. It is what it is, I guess. "

As Jinsoo Kang slowly closed his eyes and was about to fall asleep.

He heard an oddly weird kind of a bell sound.. Like the sound of the notification on your phone.

As Jinsoo Kang opened his eyes, He sees a blue neon box.. Floating right in front of him.

"What in the chicken pox is this?"

The blue neon box contained a text

"Would you like to join the system? "

It also has two options "Yes." and "No." Just below the text message.

Jinsoo laughs and he said.

"I might be hallucinating. "

As he squished and rubbed his eyes.

But as he opened his eyes again, It was still there.

"The hell is this thing?"

As he examined it, He tried to look away, But the blue neon box follows his eyes.

Jinsoo reached for his cellphone and takes a photo of the floating neon box.

As he opened the picture he was surprised that it had no blue neon box on it.

"Am I the only one seeing it? "

"Huh.... Ok, So it's asking me if I would like to join this so called system? Hm.. I'm worried on what will happen if I pressed yes... "

"Who knows I might die, But... Isn't that what I wanted? Either way my life at this point is absolutely worthless. "

As he points and clicked the "Yes." Button.

"So I don't see why I shouldn't join it. "

Nothing happens on the first few seconds.. The box just disappeared.

"Eh... Anyways, I might be tri-"

As Jinsoo experienced an extreme pain In every part of his body.

He suddenly dropped to the ground and started screaming.

"AHHHH!"

His body is getting brighter also.

"GRRRAHHH! "

Second by second, The pain intensifies.. And then finally, Jinsoo losses consciousness.
