Later, inside the car.

'Rooh, transform all the scanned data into martial art techniques.'

[Understood, Master.]

'I'm relieved that I had the Electromagnetic Cell. It saved me from a major predicament, but it's only a temporary solution. I need to come up with alternative options.'

Johan sat beside me, and I asked him, "You're Johan, right? Are you experiencing any problems with your eyes?"

Johan replied, startled, "Huh? Yes, how did you know sir?"

"I noticed that your eyes have a greyish tint, which can be an early sign of vision impairment. Well, take this card and go see my friend. She's skilled at treating eye conditions."

Johan asked hopefully, "Really? Can she also cure my mother's blindness?"

"Is it a hereditary condition? Don't worry, just take your mother to her. She'll be able to help you."

I came up with a pretext to assist Johan in curing his mother's illness. I couldn't let a child suffer when he wanted to give his mother a better life. Johan reminded me of my past self, so I was determined to save his mother, which is why I got involved in the fight.

Johan expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you, sir. I'll take my mother there tomorrow. I'll never forget your kindness." With those words, he headed home.

Ha, he's just an innocent child. It's not like money can cure his mother's blindness, as the real issue is finding a suitable cornea donor. But with Rooh's ability to create clones, making corneas for transplant won't be a problem.

I arrived outside the Sunshine building. Standing outside the building, a guard cleared the way for our car to enter.

"So this is the Sunshine Company building? It's incredibly grand. They're definitely wealthy," I remarked.

One of the guards escorted us to the VIP guest room, lavishly furnished with luxurious items.

Soon, a man with a strong, muscular physique and a full beard entered the room. A scar marked his eye.

He greeted me with a smile, saying, "Hello, Sir Rudra. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am the director of Sunshine."

"Nice to meet you too. So, what kind of business do you have with Ananta Groups?" I asked, as he took a seat beside me.

He replied, getting to the point. "You're direct, I see. Well, let's get to it then. Initially, we wanted to recruit you to join Sunshine, but upon learning that you're a Pure Blood who has awakened your abilities, our perspective changed. We cannot force an ancient one like yourself into submission. Instead, we are proposing an equal alliance between Sunshine and Ananta."

Puzzled, I inquired, "Awakened? How did you come to that conclusion?"

He explained, "Initially, we believed you were a half-blood with considerable strength. However, upon hearing about today's incident where you single-handedly decimated an entire site in the central area of Seoul, defeating two half-bloods, we deduced that you are a pureblood martial artist who has unlocked the powers of your bloodline."

I glared at him sternly and asked, "So, you were tailing me?"

He apologized sincerely, saying, "We deeply apologize, sir. We had no ill intentions towards you."

I pondered in thought, 'Ha, again ancient clan and pure blood. I get to know that in this world some people or clans practice Old Arts and some have special bloodline abilities, but only a few can awaken their bloodline ability mostly Pure Blood. They are unknown to normal civilians.'

It seemed that they had mistaken me for a pureblood, assuming that my electromagnetic cell was a special bloodline ability. In a way, they weren't entirely wrong, as the cell I possessed was indeed a bloodline ability of my own creation with Rooh's assistance. Its ominous aura is only added to the misconception. However, I saw this as a fortunate turn of events that I could exploit to my advantage.

[Master?]

'Huh, Rooh, yes speak.'

[Master, I have successfully hacked into the government's secret data on ancient clans, and I have discovered the existence of underground organizations composed of returnees or reincarnated martial artists from ancient times. These groups possess a wide range of martial arts that utilize refined energy, and some members even possess their ancient clan's unique abilities.]

Hmm, it seems that there are a variety of powerful individuals present in this world. Upon further reflection, Goo mentioned being a half-blood, suggesting that one of his parents must belong to an ancient clan. This places him in a similar category as Sunshine's chairman, Seth Kang, who is also a half-blood. Seth Kang's mother is an ancient one, but I recall reading that he eventually surpasses even her in terms of prowess.

I paused for a moment to consider his offer and then said, "Alright, I am willing to ally with you. But, there is one condition. I want access to all the information and technology that Sunshine has to offer."

He nodded and said, "Of course, we agree with your condition. I think this will be the beginning of a fruitful partnership." And with that, we shook hands.

Whoosh!

The door opened and a tall guy with long jet-black hair with a heavy lean body arrived and said, "Oh, uncle, sorry I am late."

As I turned around, I recognized the man to be Seth Kang, the Chairman of Sunshine. His expression turned contemplative upon seeing me.

"Nice to meet you, Chairman Seth Kang," I greeted him.

Seth Kang appeared puzzled and replied, "Yeah, nice to meet you too. You seem familiar. Have we met before?"

I responded, "Hmm? I don't think so."

The director intervened, saying, "Chairman Kang, this is Sir Rudra, the Chairman of Ananta Groups."

Seth Kang nodded and took a seat across from me, still lost in thought. Then, unexpectedly,

Boom!

He charged at me and launched a flying straight punch. It caught me off guard, but I managed to dodge by leaping to the right, narrowly avoiding the strike. However, I ended up with a scratch on my left ear from the attack. It seemed that Seth Kang had mastered the art of Invisible Attack, as my body struggled to respond to such a sudden assault.

Bam!

Without giving me a moment to catch my breath, he followed up with an overhand punch. I barely managed to block it with my left arm, but the force of the blow pushed me back approximately 5 meters.

I said with an enraged gaze. "What is the meaning of this, Seth Kang?"

He replied, "Clearing out old balance, don't you remember me?"

I said in confusion, "Huh? but I am meeting you for the first time."

He said, "You are Rudy right? I know that I have seen you somewhere, but your eye colour makes you unrecognizable."

In my mind, I couldn't comprehend his words. I thought, 'What is he talking about? Is he mistaken or has he hit his head? He's confusing me for someone else.'

I firmly stated, "I have no idea what you're talking about. I believe you've mistaken me for someone else."

Bam!

He rushed at me again with a knee strike and this time I countered him using capoeira by bending backwards and performing a kick by taking support with my hand but he tank it with his monstrous physique.

He said, "I have an excellent memory. Don't act like you don't remember me, we were friends in middle school, but you suddenly leave Daegu without even saying anything. Did you forget?"

He stopped his attack; I was stunned and asked. "Huh, we've known each other since childhood?"

He responded, "Did you lose your memory or something? I am Seth, dammit."

I pondered the situation, thinking, 'If he really knew the previous owner of this body, why don't I have any memories of him?'

[Master, I have scanned your memories, but there are no recollections of him. However, his current facial expression indicates that he is telling the truth. It's likely he knew the previous owner of this body.]

'This doesn't make sense. Well, let's go along with it for now.'

I replied, "Actually, my parents passed away two years ago, and my memories of the past have become blurry since then."

Seth Kang looked astonished and said, "What? I see, so that's what happened."

The director chimed in after hearing our conversation, "Oh, haha, so you two were childhood friends. That's really great. Sir Rudra, we will take care of all the matters related to today's incident in central Seoul, so you don't have to worry about them."

Seth Kang approached me with excitement and exclaimed, "I never thought I'd encounter my old friend like this."

I responded, taken aback, "Ahem, well, yes, actually, I'm also interested in learning about my past self. It's fortunate that I've found someone who might have knowledge about my previous identity."
