Secret Cave!?

Once Mazino and Goo entered the room they saw it was a completely empty small room with only one certain metal door straight ahead of them.

"An elevator shaft?" Goo walked toward the door curiously.

Mazino abruptly turned around and closed the bookshelf entrance behind them.

"What are you doing?" Goo snapped his head behind him, looking at Mazino suspiciously.

"Relax, it's just in case he comes back." Mazino simply explained before walking toward the door and pressing the button on the side.

"Don't make me go Zenitsu on your ass and give you a flashy death." Goo smirked while entering the elevator shaft beside Mazino.

"In your dreams." Mazino retorted while watching the elevator doors closing.

Whooshh!

The elevator started descending at unimaginable speeds, startling both Mazino and Goo.

"Fuckkkk!"

Goo's scream could be heard as they were going down quickly.

Eventually, it abruptly stopped and the elevator doors opened once again.

Inside Goo and Mazino can be seen hugging each other.

"*Cough*" Mazino and Goo immediately put distance between themselves and acted as if nothing happened.

"Ladies first." Goo made way for Mazino while snickering.

"Childish." Mazino stated with crossed arms while staying still.

"If it's childish why aren't you going?" Goo retorted with a smirk.

Mazino ignored his words and grabbed Goo by his collar and threw him out of the elevator.

"Cheating bastard." Goo muttered while doing a backflip and landing on the ground roughly.

Mazino walked out of the elevator and they both looked around curiously.

They seemed to be in some sort of cave underground, with uneven walls made of rocks.

There were also some old computers laid on tables with large chalk boards of random writings on them.

A large waterfall nearby could also be seen.

They followed one of the narrow metal pathways that were connecting the whole cave below them seemed to be endless water.

"This totally looks like the batcave." Goo remarked.

"Agreed." They simultaneously fist-bumped each other and went their separate ways in order to investigate.

Mazino went to a certain metal table where there were multiple notebooks laid on top of it.

Reading through some of them his eyes widened.

It showed research about having two bodies and names of people who have such abilities.

Daniel Park and Crystal Choi.

He looked at another notebook, it had information about Daniel Park.

His sleep schedule, work, grades, basically everything.

'In the original plot, it showed James Lee knowing about Daniel Park's second body using his name as its identity, I guess it makes sense for him to keep track of what Daniel Park does.' Mazino pondered inwardly.

But Mazino still had tons of questions, like how can you obtain the ability to switch bodies?

How does James Lee know about body switching?

What else don't I know?

'Eh, who cares. It's not like it really matters to me, regardless this information is useless to me but if I told Chairman Hong about it, he might do something to Daniel. If he does something to Daniel it will probably involve Jay and then involve me, so I'll just keep this to myself, it's not like I wanna help the Chairman anyways.' Mazino just shrugged his shoulders and continued looking around.

He noticed Goo going through the files across from him.

Until suddenly he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket, knowing what that meant Mazino took it out immediately.

"Shit!" Mazino cursed once he saw what was on his screen.

"What happen!?" Goo jogged toward Mazino to see what was wrong.

"It seems like the superstar is returning. *Sigh* this is gonna be troublesome." Mazino sighed because he did not feel like fighting a strong opponent currently.

"What, how do you know!?" Goo questioned trying to peek over his shoulder.

"I put a motion detector in the hallway when I first arrived here." Mazino explained while showing him his phone.

"Damn, normally I would love the opportunity to beat that smug bastard for what he did to us, but the Chairman strictly told me to not get seen by him." Goo narrowed his eyes at the red dot beeping on the screen.

"Are you sure it's him and not someone else?" Goo added.

"I put two just in case, one in the hallway and one at the office door. And the office also detected motion." Mazino simply explained.

'Goo probably can't be seen by James Lee because Chairman Choi probably doesn't wanna provoke James Lee right now. So I'm basically on my own if I tried to fight him.' Mazino cursed inwardly.

"Damn it. I don't have time for this." Mazino seemed to be in a rush.

"Why are you in a hurry?" Goo raised his brow at Mazino.

"Don't worry about it, now look around for an exit. And put everything you found back in its place." Mazino stated while looking around for an exit.

Goo simply nodded and also looked around.

After a few minutes of searching, they were unsuccessful.

"Should I just fight him?" Mazino thought aloud.

"Yeah beat that bitches ass. He's lucky I don't kamekameha his ass, if only the Chairman didn't say he would decrease my salary, I would have gladly helped." Goo said with a frown.

Mazino shook his head, he needed to go somewhere after this, he knew it would take time to fight James Lee, he continued to look around until he got an idea.

"Can you swim?" Mazino questioned while looking below the metal pathways.

"Of course I can-"

While Goo was replying, the elevator suddenly started to go up.

"He's coming, let's go." Mazino simply said before leaning against the metal pathway, trying to see the best water route.

"Wait! We don't know where that will take us?" Goo nervously backed up.

"Don't tell me your still scared of swimming!? There is a waterfall over there that brings water down here, which means there's most likely some sort of drainage system that takes the water out." Mazino pointed toward the waterfall then below him which was full of water.

"Even so-"

Before Goo could finish he heard the elevator descending suddenly.

"We don't have time for this, make sure to hold your breathe well."

Mazino grabbed Goo by the back of his collar and jumped down flowing with the heavy streams of water.

Splash!

Descending in the water, they were suddenly sucked into something, feeling their insides turn they were constantly spun underwater.

"Aghhh!"

Goo's struggle could be heard as he was being grabbed firmly by Mazino while being tossed around by the current.

"I'm so gonna kill you-aghh!"

Goo would curse at Mazino when they would rise above the water for a quick second.

Mazino would just ignore him while calmly holding his breath.

Eventually, they reached a place where the current was normal.

Mazino swam toward the side and pulled himself on top of a stone ledge while holding Goo.

"*Cough**Cough*" Mazino coughed roughly as he laid down on the solid ground with Goo beside him.

Getting up, he felt his wet clothes stick to him and drip with water.

Looking to his left, he noticed Goo was unmoving.

"Get up, I know your fine." Mazino abruptly kicked Goo in his ribs.

"*Cough**Cough*That hurt!" Goo grumbled while slowly getting up.

Looking toward Mazino, his eye's slightly widened.

"I still find it weird at how similar your and Gun's eyes are but yours are way creepier." Goo muttered while staring into Mazinos eyes.

'It seems my glasses fell off when I was in the water.' Mazino looked at his reflection and noticed his mask was still on his face.

Mazino ignored his words and looked around.

He noticed he was in some sort of sewage system, he walked around trying to find an exit.

Eventually, he noticed a ladder leading up to a metal plate, he started to climb up it.

"Wait for me." Goo ignored the heaviness and wetness of his clothes and climbed up behind Mazino.

Using his strength, Mazino pushed the heavy metal plate out of the way which allowed sunlight to fall on him.

Climbing out onto the pavement, he noticed he was in an abandoned alleyway.

He put his hand out for Goo to grab, once they were both out, he put the metal plate back on top of the hole.

"That was fun." Goo chuckled.

"Sure." Mazino sarcastically remarked.

"You think he knows we investigated his place even though we cleaned up?" Goo questioned.

"Of course he would notice, he might not know it was us specifically but he's not an idiot who wouldn't notice." Mazino replied.

"Hmm, that's good." Goo nodded.

"Well, I have to switch out these messy clothes and meet the Chairman." Goo added while walking toward the main street.

"Same." They both walked side to side.

"Seeya later." Goo said goodbye once they both went in opposite directions.

Mazino simply waved goodbye as he disappeared into the crowd of people, some would stare at his wet clothes but he didn't care.
