Familiar People! Date!?

A red convertible could be seen swerving in and out of lanes, inside, Gun can be seen driving with Crystal in the back.

"Gun Oppa, who was that? It seemed as if you knew him." Crystal looked at Gun curiously.

"You could say we're old friends. Just like how there's rising stars in every generation, Me, Goo Kim, and Park Mazino were the rising stars of our own when we were in highschool."

"Since we were rising stars, we of course eventually fought and became acquainted with each other, and would do some jobs together." Gun added with a slight smile.

"You guys all went to the same school!? Is he really as strong as you!?" Crystal questioned with a shocked face, she knew Gun had a mysterious past and was one of a kind when it came to fighting skills.

"Who knows, I haven't fought him in a couple of years. And yeah we all went to the same high school." Gun replied nonchalantly while taking a right turn.

"It seems you actually respect him." Crystal muttered with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe, maybe not. Just think of him as someone who's standing is equal to me, in terms of connections and strength. So be careful when interacting with Chairman Hong's kid when I'm not around."

"I'll be back here by 6:25 AM." Gun added while stopping in front of a building.

"I got it." Crystal nodded and got out of the car, heading to her penthouse.

Mazino could be seen in the same parking lot, looking at the previous location of the car, no one could tell what he was thinking.

He abruptly turned around and started walking back toward the festival.

Pulling out a face mask, he puts it over half his face.

"I should cover my face, I don't want unwanted attention." Mazino muttered.

As soon as he finished his words, he notices a guy with a cap, walking fast, Mazino catches up to him and snatches it off his head.

"The fuck!?" The man angrily turned around.

Once Mazino's cold gaze landed on him, the man immediately backed up in fear.

"I'll get you one later, sorry." Mazino spoke with a smirk under his mask.

"No, n-no keep it." The man stammered while running away.

Mazino now had himself covered in a cap, mask, and sunglasses.

He walked back up the stairs toward the festival.

Glancing around he noticed a few familiar people, ones from the anime and ones he personally knew.

Looking around he stares at the school roof for a few seconds.

'Too nosy. I think going up there would be a better choice, I should be able to watch over Jay and Joy too.' Mazino thought inwardly.

He hated loud places and this festival was the epitome of noise.

As he walked toward the school, it seemed he dropped something when he pulled his hands out of his pocket, he himself didn't notice but one girl did.

Entering the school, he got a lot of suspicious looks because of his fancy dress shirt and suspicious-looking mask and glasses.

But he just ignored it and went up the stairs, once he reached the top.

"Ah finally some peace and quiet- hmm?" Mazino pulled down his mask and was about to sigh in relief until he noticed another familiar guy on the roof.

The guy turned around once he heard footsteps and his eye's widened in surprise.

"Hyung-nim! Is that you!?" The guy questioned with his mouth agape.

"Eli?" Mazino questioned a little surprised.

The guy on the roof seemed to be Eli Jang, who seemed to have been contemplating something.

"Wow! It really is you, I've missed you!" Eli remarked while rushing up to Mazino with a smile.

"Eli! I didn't know you'd be here." Mazino stated with a nostalgic tone.

He and Eli have quite the past, where even Eli respects him a lot.

"Which means you didn't come here for me." Eli muttered deflatedly.

"I'm just messing with you, here take this." Mazino ruffled Eli's hair and gave him a furry panda.

Eli looked at it confusedly.

"A panda won't make me forgive yo-"

"For Yenna dumbass." Mazino added with a slight smile.

"I knew that!" Eli retorted embarrassedly, snatching the panda out of his hands.

"How've you been?" Mazino warmly gazed at Eli, unlike his usual cold self.

"You know how it is, I've been busy with Yenna, school, and Hostel. But I'm thinking of opening up a hair salon since I like being a hairstylist." Eli replied happily.

"That's nice to hear, let me know if you need anything." Mazino nodded.

"I couldn't trouble you any more than I already hav-"

RING!

Before Eli could finish his sentence, his phone started to ring.

"Ah gimmie a sec." Eli quickly answered the phone.

Once he was done, he looked at Mazino apologetically.

"Everything alright?" Mazino questioned.

"Yeah, it's just my classmates need my help at the hair stylist booth we have for the festival." Eli scratched his head embarrassedly.

"It's alright you can go, you have my number so we can meet up at another time." Mazino nodded proudly.

"I'll make sure to call you, don't disappear like last time!" Eli started to jog toward the stairs while waving bye to Mazino.

"Oh and, I know I've said it a lot of times. But thank you for everything!" Eli quickly yelled with a bright smile before heading downstairs.

While Eli was going down, he noticed a familiar blonde-haired girl going up but he simply paid her no mind since he was in a rush.

Mazino was staring at the school festival from the roof in deep thought.

'It seems I'm some sort of irregularity in this verse. In this timeline, I saved Eli Jang from the streets and helped support Hostel physically and financially. But it seemed the mother of his child, Heather still died.'

'There are tons of other things I've changed too now that I realize it.' Mazino thought inwardly.

Feeling a presence behind him, he turned around and his eye widened in surprise.

"Jeez, why do I keep running into familiar faces." Mazino muttered staring at the blonde haired beauty infront of him.

"Oppa?" The girl questioned with widened eyes emotionlessly.

"My Mary, come to oppa." Mazino opened his arms up with a smile.

Mary slowly walked up to him, opening her arms, once she was close enough she lunged at his left arm.

Grabbing his left arm, she threw him over her shoulder effortlessly.

Mazino himself was baffled but didn't even try to resist, his hat fell off while his glasses stayed on.

Slamming him against the ground, she turned around and sat down on him so he can't move.

"You disappear and have the audacity to say something like that!? Do you know how worried I was once you were wanted for murder!" Mary exclaimed furiously staring into his eyes.

"You know I have a good reason, now get off me." Mazino replied with an apologetic smile.

Mary continued to look dead serious into his eyes ignoring his previous words.

"Someone might take this position as vulgar, are you sure you want that?" Mazino questioned with a smirk.

"*Sighed*You still joke in a situation like this?" Mary sighed.

Getting up, she put her hand out for him to grab.

Grabbing her hand, he pattens his clothes down.

"I see your still practicing judo." Mazino remarked picking up his hat.

"Of course! I need to stay in shape somehow." She replied with a slight smile.

"Your not mad at me?" Mazino questioned perplexed at her sudden switch of attitude.

"I'm not dumb oppa, I know you must have a good reason for leaving, I won't chastise you for it. It's not like you would care anyways." She chuckled at her last words.

"Oh?" Mazino looked at her curiously.

"Don't get me wrong though, I was so mad at first that I wanted to rip all your hair out but after thinking about it, I realized there was more to the situation than meets the eye." Mary looked at Mazino inquisitively.

"You don't think I'm guilty of the murder?" Mazino questioned with narrowed eyes.

"No I don't think your the murderer, you might have been a cold-blooded fighter even at a young age but you would never kill an innocent person. I know that for 100%, I'm just not sure why you didn't even try to clear your name." Mary continued to look at Mazino questioningly.

"I'll tell you the reason on another day." Mazino replied nonchalantly.

"*Sigh* If you don't think you should tell me now, I'll stop nagging." Mary sighed but nodded in understanding.

"I'll tell you when it's right don't worry. But I've missed you by the way!" Mazino smiled.

"Tryna change the conversation huh?" Mary scoffed.

"I genuinely mean it. In my line of work, there aren't too many people to miss or love." Mazino replied with a nostalgic look in his eyes.

"I guess I missed you too." Mary smiled shyly, she knew Mazino meant what he said.

"Now that I think about it, I've heard your name around the streets, talking about how your some sort of private contractor for a company and that your very dangerous. You seem to have a fearsome reputation." Mary added forgetting about her previous words.

"Yeah things happened and I became a contractor."

"So while I was worrying for you, you were fighting punks having the time of your life!"

"That's so like you!" She chuckled.

"Yeah sorry about that." Mazino apologized while scratching his head.

"You can make it up to me, through dinner!" She smirked.

"I'm not sure-"

"Nope! If you wanna make it up to me, you have to come. That's the least you can do." She cut him off before he could deny it.

"Alright fine." Mazino shook his head helplessly, at this girl's antics.

"Give me your number, I'll come to your house that's on ******* street." Mazino added without even thinking.

"Okay! But how do you know where I live?" She gave him her phone number but looked at him curiously.

"Hm?" Mazino stopped typing and slowly looked up from his screen.

"Uh-"

"Don't tell me you were keeping an eye on me?" She questioned with a raised eyebrow.

Mazino just looked in the opposite direction nonchalantly avoiding her gaze as if he didn't know anything.

"Oh yeah, here you dropped your wallet when walking earlier, it was why I came here." She suddenly remembered, pulling out the wallet from her pocket and handing it to him.

"Ah, thanks." Once he finished putting her number in, he noticed Jay and Joy at the entrance of the school seemingly wanting to leave.

"Ah I have to go now." He told her.

"Ah before you go-"

She suddenly walked up to him and tiptoed up....

And kissed him on the cheek.

Once she kissed him, she started to jog toward the stairs.

"What was that for?" Mazino questioned confusedly, touching where she kissed.

"It's my thanks for watching over me but it's kinda creepy so stop doing it! I'll see you at the date!" She exclaimed while jogging down the steps with a smile.

"That girl hasn't changed even since elementary school." Mazino chuckled, he also went toward the steps so he could go and take the siblings home.
