____Narration____

As she walked home, Lohan couldn't help thinking about the last few weeks.

His life had taken a complete turn. Never before had the possibility of transmigrating to a fictional world crossed his mind, but now it was his reality.

Living in a world that Lohan had been able to read in her old life.

It was a bit strange, but after a while he got used to the idea, after all, he needed to adapt as quickly as possible.

With his body feeling considerably better, he returned to his training routine. His strength and endurance had taken a considerable leap forward, as he no longer felt that constant lack of energy throughout the day.

Some muscles were apparent on his body, but he couldn't tell if this was due to his body returning to a healthy state, or the lack of fat on his body.

But he didn't think much about it. At the end of the day, the only thing that mattered was that he was slowly returning to a healthy state.

Arriving at her apartment building, Lohan observed the silent streets with serenity in her gaze, not wasting much time before starting up the stairs.

"Damn, those boxes were too heavy." Squeezing his shoulder while moving his arm, Lohan complained. "I need something to relieve that muscle stress."

Sighing, he finally reached the door of his house.

But something suddenly prevented him from entering.

Something had caught his eye, and it wasn't something he could see. No...

That's what he could hear.

And of all the normally noisy apartments that made up the entire building, Lohan wasn't able to hear a single noise.

This was something strange that Lohan had never noticed during his entire stay in the place... No, not "noticed". It had never happened before, and he knew it.

"How strange."

Narrowing his eyes in suspicion, the boy turned to the door of his house, simply opened it and walked in without a second thought.

A mistake.

Bam!

Unable to react quickly enough, Lohan suddenly felt his face hit hard enough to draw blood from his nostrils, his eyes closing in pain as he fell to the ground on his buttocks.

'What the hell?'

Completely ignoring the confusion clouding his mind, Lohan immediately stood up and got into position, his eyes blinking frantically in an attempt to eliminate the blurring of his vision caused by the surprise attack.

"So it's you!"

With the confusion fading, Lohan was finally able to see the one responsible for striking him in his own home, his eyes widening as his expression filled with surprise at the sight of his attacker's face.

"You who tried to change the nature of my Eli Jang!"

Olly Wang.

Seeing the man in front of him staring at him with an exaggerated smile, Lohan took a step back, feeling the door at his back.

Olly was a monster, and Lohan didn't feel he could face him, or even escape from him, as he had done with Vin Jin.

So he was already anticipating creating a distraction.

"Who are you? A thief?" Acting, Lohan looked around while waiting for his assailant's response, his eyes landing on an umbrella near the door, before returning to Olly.

Ever since he had taken little Eli Jang in, Lohan had imagined that one day or another he would end up meeting Olly, so he wasn't that surprised to see him there.

But he would be lying if he said he didn't feel betrayed, after all, if Olly was there, it meant that Eli, despite Lohan's attempts to get close to the boy, had made the choice to serve Olly again.

The realization of this was quite daunting.

"Thief? Me?" Olly, who at this point was making his expression even more chaotic, took a step towards Lohan, the boy feeling cold sweat run down the back of his neck as his eyes landed on an umbrella by the door. "You're the thief here!"

Feeling her heart race at the intention of the man in front of her, Lohan immediately moved towards the umbrella.

But just as he was about to grab him, his eyes widened in surprise when, stopping his momentum, a kick passed inches from his face, him immediately jumping backwards as two new figures emerged from the doorway.

"Trying to escape, little mouse?"

Analyzing the two new unwanted guests, Lohan growled at the sight of what he remembered to be Olly's right and left arms, Justin and Chuck...

It was a surprise that he remembered both their names... In fact, it was only because of the danger they both represented. Since he knew that he could eventually face the Hostel, he struggled to remember the plot.

Unfortunately, this knowledge didn't do much good, as he was mainly using it to avoid facing those he knew he was incapable of beating, but here he was, face to face with the leader, and his two top Hostel executives.

'I'm fucked.' With a nervous smile, Lohan eyed the two men warily, as he switched to look at Olly, who had an exaggerated smile on his lips.

"This guy doesn't look like much. Do you want us to take care of him, Big Daddy?" Chuck, who gave him a quick glance, turned to Olly waiting for his confirmation.

The Hostel leader looked thoughtful for a moment, realization taking over his face as he suddenly turned to fetch something.

Lohan raised an eyebrow at this. At this point, he no longer had any hope that he could escape. His best course of action was to wait for one of them to attack so that he could counterattack and make his way to the exit.

"Here it is!"

Returning suddenly, Olly caused Lohan to frown when he saw him emerge with little Eli Jang in tow.

"So, my little Eli Jang." Holding the boy by the shoulders, Olly had an expression that could only be described as "mad" on his features. "What do you think? Should I teach this thief a lesson?"

Eli, who at this point had been silent the whole time, looked up to find Olly's crazed face staring down at him, which made him shiver with terror.

"S-Yes, Mr. Carpenter."

The boy's fear did not go unnoticed by Lohan, who clenched his fists as his eyes landed on Chuck, who snapped his fingers in anticipation.

At the end of the day, it wasn't Eli's fault. The boy was just being manipulated all along. Seeing Olly's terrified expression only confirmed it.

The boy just wanted to be loved and find a family, but Olly wouldn't allow that, after all, Eli Jang shouldn't have a family.

Lohan grumbled, disgust appearing in his expression as he looked at the three of them.

"Teach that thief a lesson. Little Eli Jang needs to rest from all this, after all, he was almost corrupted!"

Guiding little Eli Jang down the corridor, Olly waved to Lohan as he stuck out his tongue, disappearing to leave just the three of them in the house.

"Do you want to finish this guy off quickly? Or shall we have some fun?" Chuck turned to Justin, who was busy with his cell phone.

"There's no need to fight together, this guy doesn't look like much. I'll wait outside." Justin turned to leave, leaving Chuck alone face to face with Lohan.

"You've really pissed off our Big Daddy." Chuck began, but Lohan didn't listen to him much.

The boy was relieved. He had feared that both of them would face him together, but in the one-on-one, he was confident of winning, after all, his body was considerably stronger than when he faced Logan Lee.

He would just knock down the man in front of him and take the second one by surprise. In the worst case, Olly would be on the outside, but at this point, he could just escape without too much difficulty.

"Hey!"

Raising her guard to block a punch aimed at her face, Lohan squinted as he faced her attacker.

"I'm about to beat you up and you're not even paying attention to me?" Grabbing Lohan's wrist, Chuck opened his guard and immediately threw a punch. "That's disrespectful."

Boom!

But being taken by surprise, before his fist could reach its target, a counterpunch landed on his chin, blood flying from his mouth as he staggered in amazement.

"I think it's you who should be paying more attention." Turning forward, Chuck's eyes widened when he saw Lohan staring at him intensely.

'This guy has fought to the death before.' Wiping the blood from his lips, Chuck cracked a smile as he took a stance. 'Boy, it looks like I made a mistake in my assessment. This guy is trouble.'
