____Lohan Pov____

Even though Vin Jin was a jerk at the beginning of the book, I have nothing against him. In fact, he was one of my favorite characters, more for his fighting style, than for his personality. So, I don't have such an aversion to him.

And I have no desire to face it.

Unlike Logan Lee, Vin Jin is fast, and is quite proficient in Judo. Maybe I can beat him, as long as he keeps his glasses on.

But with my bruised body, if he takes them away, I will be completely destroyed.

Many people believe that Judo is an ineffective martial art when no kimono is worn, but this is pure nonsense. Believe me when I say that a Judo practitioner used to training with No-Gi doesn't need any clothes to smash his neck on the ground.

Judo is a hated martial art for those who have fought against it, after all, being treated like a rag doll is not at all pleasant.

"So you are the idiot who beat that pig."

I heard him say, my eyes turning to his face, making me notice his frown in a clear indication that he was not in his best mood.

So to avoid further aggravating the situation of my ribs, I will avoid confrontation.

"You don't seem like a big deal to me." I watched him take a step forward, something I paid attention to, since the last thing I want is for him to have enough distance to grab me. "And you're even uglier than most."

Well, he's not wrong, but I would say that I'm just "sloppy. As long as I can put meat on my bones, I will be considerably attractive.

"An ugly skinny guy like you still has the nerve to say you're going to take me down?"

"Uh?"

What the hell is he talking about?

Turning my attention back to Jay, I saw him scratch the back of his head with a nervous expression, which made me sigh in frustration.

I get it. It seems that simply ignoring Jay won't make him realize that I don't want him to involve me in this kind of thing.

I will have to be a little more rough.

"Look, I don't know what they told you, but I never said I'd take anyone down." I started to try to appease the situation, but considering his irritated expression, it didn't seem to be working. "My fight with Logan wasn't even intentional, he just attacked me and I defended myself."

"It doesn't matter." He spoke with frustration in his tone, making me realize that it would not be words that would resolve the situation.

"Stop being a jerk." Mary Kim, the girl I vaguely remember as being his best friend, spoke as she crossed her arms.

"You should listen to her." I agreed as I pointed at her, which made her sigh.

"You fucked up." She spoke with a tired tone, which immediately made me go on alert.

!

Turning my attention to Vin Jin, I barely reacted when he swept the distance between the two of us and grabbed the jacket of my uniform.

"Did you call me an idiot?!"

Damn.

____Narration____

Vin Jin was fast, strong, and on top of that he had technique. He was proud of his skills, since except for a small number of people, no one could escape his judo. When it came to throwing people against the ground, he could be considered the king.

But while he was only a king, Lohan was the one who had fought the king of kings, the greatest prodigy of Sambo among all the other prodigies.

While Lohan might not be considered a king because of this, after studying his fights, and training for months just to face him, it was impossible that he had not learned something from this.

And now, with his memories as sharp as ever, he clearly remembered everything he had trained for in the months of preparation for his fight against Viktor.

To be knocked down so easily would be disrespectful to the masters who took their time to teach him.

!

Putting his arm around Vin Jin's neck, Lohan took a step to the side, preventing the Judo practitioner from completing his fall.

This surprised Vin Jin, who looked away to see Lohan staring at him with indifference.

"I really didn't want to do that, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let you do whatever you want to me."

Boom!

Sweeping Vin Jin's foot, Lohan pushed his body against the ground using his weight, knocking him onto his back and taking all the air out of his lungs.

"Ugh, you son of a bitch." Vin Jin cursed, Lohan standing up and sighing in exhaustion.

Lohan turned her attention to Mary Kim, who was clearly surprised that someone had been able to take Vin Jin down so easily.

"Sorry about that, but I came out of my last fight pretty bruised, so I'd rather avoid further bruising." Lohan scratched the back of his head, Mary letting out a sigh as he nodded.

"It's okay, don't pay any attention to that idiot. He's just a hothead."

Vin Jin slowly stood up, his face filling with fury as he rubbed his hand over his back. "Hey, you bastard. I'm not done yet."

Lohan sighed at this, turning to see the Judo practitioner about to advance toward him.

"..."

"Well, well."

But the bickering between the two was abruptly interrupted when a new voice caused them to turn toward the entrance of the arcade, seeing three teenagers dressed in sweatshirts that Lohan immediately recognized.

'God Dogs.'

"I seem to be interrupting something."

One of the newcomers, a short, bald teenager, spoke with a mocking tone.

'What the hell is that?'

Lohan was intimidated, but this was in no way due to the short boy who had just entered, no.

This was due to the huge figure that protruded just behind the short boy.

'What the hell do these kids eat to make them look like this?!'
