27)The last favor

(AN: I decided to end this chapter "arc" with this chapter as I wouldn't want to bore you guys)

With the door to the warehouse closing, it was the signal for everybody to start attacking as they all charged at Cain with the intent to kill.

It somehow excited Cain as he was smiling while having his hands covered in his coat for an extra layer of protection, which wouldn't make a difference but it would allow Cain to hinder them.

While that was going on, Ian was on his way towards Cain with an unconscious Yosef in the passenger seat but he wasn't the only monster going towards that spot as Tom was headed there for an unruly worker of his.

Suddenly Ian phone rang out as he saw the caller ID and answered it. "Charles"

"Did you tell her?"

"Tell her what" putting it on speaker phone, he was trying his best to go towards Cain as fast as possible but it looks like something was stopping him as all the lights he was encountering, was mysteriously turning red right before him.

It didn't even bother going to yellow "Don't play games with me Ian, I know you have a place to be. After all, I can see two police cars behind you."

'It must be that annyoing genius hacker of his' Ian thought as a headache came whenever those geniuses were in play.

Not because they were strong but rather annoying. "Sigh, I didn't tell her much. Just a little to keep her interested. It was truly a special time when you struggled with them."

"I'm surprised you know these details. You weren't even born so did they tell you when you led them?"

Ian suddenly smiled with his teeth showing as he started to grip the steering wheel with more force than usual. Charles on the other side of the phone could hear him snicker as he saw him lowering his window as he looked out and at the camera for a second only for him to put back his head inside his car.

"You really love to push someone's buttons. Especially when you can't be beaten right now."

Charles let out a heart felt laughter as the light turned green. "I do have to admit, I won't survive going against you but that doesn't mean i won't mess with you. Are you embarrassed of your past?."

"Damn fucking rat, let's see how long you can hide while being a chairmen." Ian said as he was trying his best to arrive where Cain was.

It took some time but he wasn't late as he saw a mess of a scene. Men in black suits were confused as their supposed leader was on the ground with a knife on his back.

A couple High schoolers were on the ground while a girl was behind Cain as he had blood coming out of his forehead and was holding his rib. He looked exhausted as a behemoth stood before him

Kim had wires around his hand as his clothes were now wrinkled while Tom looked at Cain with a hateful expression as his client, was being saved by his own personal men.

He then turned away from Cain as he headed towards his client.

"No! I can't lose him. Pay me before you die. My goodness what should-" Before Tom could finish his sentence, he saw an all too familiar build he wouldn't forget, approaching.

With Tom changing his demeanor, the air around changed and everyone felt it as people naturally looked to where someone could make him change his whole attitude as they saw a teenager wearing nice clothing while have glasses on that were tinted.

His build was amazing as Ian walked in an interesting scene. He quickly threw his fake cigarette on the ground as he kept walking until someone in a suit stopped him.

"Hey kid-" The one who apprehended him was suddenly viewing the sky as his world blacked out.

"Cain, did you finally get your wish like Yosef? Did you meet one of the monsters I told you about other than me?"Ian said that as the people around were confused why another teenager appeared with him talking like he was the one in charge.

Tom was shaking in anger as the scar was starting to get oddly irritating as he saw Ian in the flesh. He knew now why he hated Cain, he was someone close to Ian.

Truth be told, Tom only cared about killing Ian as he mildly remembered his companions seeing they're always by his side so he never got a chance to mess with them.

"Well you had your fun Cain, it's-"

"IAN!" A sudden hand came behind him with Ian doding to the right as the concrete below was shattered.

"Oh? Tom? Wh-"

Ian kept doding as Tom relentlessly kept attacking while having a blood thirsty smile.

Attacks that were strong enough to kill someone, were not being landed as that power went to the ground or missed with Tom only getting more angry as his hair was loosened.

"Stop doding like a rat-"

A kick to the stomach sent Tom tumbling away as Kim wasn't surprised while everyone else was.

"Oh? I'm sure I aimed to make you spill your lunch. I'm worried I took it easy on you." Ian said with a casual tone as Tom stood up but then fell on one knee as he heard that bastard chuckle from afar.

It made him angrier as suddenly police sirens were heard aswell ambulance. Ian looked towards his car and back towards Cain as he understood what that meant.

"It was fun seeing each other Tom. It's truly heart breaking that we're not gonna finish" A mocking pouting face was on Ian face as Tom bit his lips but nonetheless, let them go as the sirens started to get closer.

"Let's go Cain, you finished your Favor to that girl, she's your junior when you were in school." Ian made an excuse for him to not expose their relationship with Kim as he looked at Kim for a second with a bored expression but then walked forward with Cain following behind.

He smiled as he left the girl who was hugging her dad while having tears pouring out of her eyes. "Do you really think your safe from me Ian?"

"Hmm…."Ian stopped midway as he put a finger under his chin and chuckled. He then continued "I am, nothing you can do will kill me. Zu? You should know he won't, your white tigers? I almost killed that lady of yours with glasses and those two old heads, Charles? He's as good as dead. So yes, I am safe unless you come at me"

He kept saying that until he reached his car but then yelled out and stuck out his tongue "But are you really capable of killing me?"

Tom balled his fist up as he looked down at the ground and wanted to say something but he calmed down as he knew the monster's weakness but what good will that do when he's dead?

Even Tom knows how to control himself, so he didn't say anything as he heard two doors closing and the loud engine of Ian car leaving.

Minutes later, police and ambulances arrived as they put the girl Kim was saving, dad in cuffs while ambulances took her grandfather.

….

"Did you find it enjoyable Cain?" Ian asked as he looked in his rear view mirror. Cain was sitting in the backseat with a pain smile.

Yosef was crossing his arms as he turned around and laughed. "Did you survive only by teaming up?" Cain ignored him while assessing his damaged body.

"I did. Boss sure is capable to make that monster fall on one knee with a single kick." He breathe out as he graoaned while grabbing his ribs.

"Ah shit, not this crazy fucker." A loud sigh was heard as Ian lowered the window and saw a speeding car coming beside them.

"IAN! Come on! Accept my offer! I promise, Ares will not disappoint you!"

"Crazy fucker! Keep your eyes on the road!"

Laughter came from the car beside them as it swerved a little bit, with it bumping Ian car.

"YOU!"

Veins started to pop out of his head and neck while Jincheol Park awkwardly chuckled. "Well, since you said no, I'll ask another day!"

With that, Jincheol window to his car was rolled up as he did a sudden stop and a quick U turn.

"This fucker is leaving without paying me!"

Time passed as everything so far was normal. Ian went to check on Jinho Lee and would occasionally check up on Yun Jo otherwise known as Choyun.

Although Ian hasn't made contact with him, he kept looking after him from afar and kept wondering when "that" would come to him.

So, so far nothing interesting was happening until Today as Ian was in a parking lot with a vexed face as his shirt that could barley contain his muscles, was stained with blood.

Mia was in the car while covering her mouth as she couldn't believe what she saw. Ian stood there with countless bodies around him as he was holding someone with a uniform, by his neck, making him hovering above the ground.

"In front of my sister….You stained her eyes!" Ian said as he smashed the person head on the concrete as the remaining 5 people, stepped back while gulping hard.

"We-" The person who spoke, was quickly knocked out as the 4 people remaining, suddenly saw him by their side. "I don't care what you say, I'll just have to make sure I leave one alive."

With that once sentence, the 4 men knew what to do as they know who Ian was as his information in the underground world, was explicit.

So, with that, they fought amongst themselves leaving one person standing while covered in blood as Ian walked towards him, towering over him.

"Now. What gave you confidence to attack me Zu-"

"That's the thing Sir Sun, Zu has passed and before he passed away, he sent us, his most powerful and trusted men, to relay you a message." He said while his voice quivered and his Adam apple kept going up and down.

Taking out a piece of paper, he opened it up with a shaky hand and read the content

"My dear friend Ian, if your reading this I have passed on and I'm in hell with the devil laughing at me. Karma has caught up with me. But enough of me, this my last favor, surely you remember it right?, please with all your power, protect my son, the successor. I'm sure with your personality, you'll only let one of my men live, that's alright, he will tell you where to find him."

He finished looking up at Ian who had an indifferent look while looking down at him.

"It looks like death has came for you Zu…." Ian said softly as he felt his necklace of a cross on his neck. In his previous life, he never believed in a god but once coming over here, he started to believe in one.

Weather out of fear or joy for that god, he thanked and yet felt anger at this god for bringing him here.

Maybe he got this chance and Zu didn't, he will never know as he turned around and started to walk towards his car as the remaining man, Mi-Gyeong followed him

(AN:Looks like the manager Kim volume is coming to an end as this chapter didn't fell good. I feel like I didn't give it my all but I did that because I want to end his volume and go towards the Lookism/Viral hit/questiusm volume

Chapters this week and next week are random, starting the 8th, I will go back to my normal time schedule of releasing one/two every Thursday)
