The Goblin I

Tom Lee leaned in closer to the old man sitting across from him, his irritation was hidden behind a fake, polite smile.

"Listen," he began, his voice tinged with impatience. "Let's cut the games, shall we? You know why I'm here. It would be best for both of us if you just come along quietly. I've got places to be, and I don't have time for this silent eating contest." he said as he took a sip from his cheap liquor.

Tom clenched his teeth, feeling more and more frustrated. Dealing with this old man was really pushing his buttons, and he couldn't waste any more time. With a determined look, he sat up straight, ready to use force, looking around for any danger.

He thought the old man would look scared or unsure, but instead, the guy just smiled like they were talking about the weather. "Sure thing," the old man said calmly. "I don't like keeping your boss waiting either. And if the big shot from White Tiger Job Center is coming, I guess I should meet your boss. So, go ahead, take me there" He smirked and signaled for the waiter to refill his drink, totally unfazed

"But that is if you can take me there after all..... even if I am old I'm little heavy"

Suddenly, a bunch of guys in black suits showed up. They started telling people to leave, and if they didn't listen, they got picked up and tossed aside like garbage even though the people sitting there were top class.

As Tom saw the crowd getting louder and more chaotic, he furrowed his brow in annoyance, picking up his ear with his pinky. With a frustrated grunt, he threw the table aside, creating a huge noise that made the people around them fall silent and start leaving, getting ideas about what was happening.

But here's the weird part: the old man didn't seem to care. He just kept sipping his wine like nothing was happening, even though everything was going crazy around him.

The waiter's eyes widened in shock as he watched the violence unfolding before him. It was like something out of a John Wick movie, but this was real life, and it was happening right in front of his fuckin eye, clumsily he picked himself and crawled back to a side.

But there was something strange about this situation that didn't sit right with Tom. Unlike before, the old man seemed totally calm. He just kept sipping his wine like everything was normal, even with all the craziness happening around him.

Tom couldn't figure it out. Was the old man just not all there in the head, or did he have some secret trick up his sleeve that made him so confident?

Tom scratched his head, trying to make sense of it all.

Whatever the case, "Fu$k it" he grumbled, thinking about his date with Ms. Kim later. Whistling a catchy tune, he extended his hand, ready to grab the old man by the throat.

"Peek a boo~" whispered a voice. Suddenly, Tom was upside down his world started to rotate in front of him, and kicked hard in the chest. He crashed into the wall, breaking it with a bang, and shaking the entire building in process. Dust filled the air as he tried to gather his breath as he heard something break inside.

Something powerful had thrown him like a toy, a ragged doll, leaving Tom, the fighting prodigy, stunned and confused as he lay there for a second staring at the ceiling and biting his lip in anger and eyes turning red.

"You didn't say it was Tom Lee," the man who had swatted away like some fly stood in front of the old man, his confidence was waining a little as he felt his neck and feet getting cold.

"But he was easy for you right," he said defensively. But when he met the young man's expressionless gaze, a chill ran down his spine. "How about doubling the deal?"

Laughing loudly, he swiftly stopped a machete aimed at his neck and shattered it into pieces with his bare hand. He then stuffed the shards into the eyes of another goon charging at him, causing water to splatter around like a fountain.

"HAHAHAHA Double and a favor? Of course!" he exclaimed confidently, his laughter echoing through the room.

With a smirk, he turned his gaze towards the rushing mob of people heading his way. And just like that, under the watchful eyes, he just vanished into thin air. Each time he reappeared, two or three figures fell, leaving those who witnessed it with only one thought: "He's like an animal, tearing through everything in his path."
