My sweet Lee Xin

It was a Sunday morning when Mei Lin decided to go to the mall to buy groceries. "I think I will take lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, tenderloin, and ..... "

" Ahh.. I have to buy a lot just for a unique meal for my .. hubby.... if any one knows how I love him then it's my inner self " Mei Lin thought to herself while smiling broadly.

"Hey miss are you paying by card or Cash?" asked the cashier. " uh! (⁠@⁠_⁠@⁠) !! I ... I'll pay with cash" Mei Lin stammered as she snapped out of her imagination. How much will they cost"

" It's a total of 204¥ and a discount of 10% miss" the cashier told Mei Lin." Here's your receipt, pay the money on the next teller, thanks for your support, come again next time"

Mei Lin just grinned at the cashier and mouthed a thank you. She paid for everything and headed home happily.

"It's time for me to prepare dinner for my ..... " she was brought back to reality by the buzzing phone " I hope it's Lee Xin my sweetheart calling" she thought to herself but to her dismay it was an unknown number

"hello!! it's Mei Lin talking"

'Good evening Miss Mei Lin '

"Good evening sir, how may I help you"

'Am the manager of four seasons hotel, I wanted you to know that you're now one of our employees and we shall be happy to work with you, coz you passed the interview, thanks!! Call me for anything you need to know and we shall be happy if you start work next week, I think this week is enough to get you prepared!!! '

"What in the freaking world,!! am going to work in one of the most luxurious hotels in the country, someone tell me am not dreaming" she screamed as soon as she hung up. She couldn't hide her excitement .

She jumped up and down the house and clumsily knocked down a glass of water but she didn't care . After calmly settling down she remembers she has to prepare dinner for Lee Xin .

"ohh no...not again but I hope he comes back late when everything is ready " and soon Mei Lin had gone into the kitchen to prepare dinner...

After two hours of cooking everything was ready and laid on the dinner table with a hotpot in the middle of the table. The setting looked lovely and amazing. She was still admiring the food when the doorbell rang "🎶"

With smiles she went to get the door. It was his fiance Lee Xin " WOW.. what a wonderful bouquet of flowers!!! I love you hubby " She picked the flowers from him and give him a big hug, I love you Lee Xin" come in its time for a lovely dinner after a week without eating my home-made food"

Lee Xin is a busy man who works two shifts in a tech company even after being stopped and begged to work only during day by his fiancee he wouldn't listen coz he always had an answer "the money I work pays the bills in this house so don't bother me with that anymore unless if you want me to tire you out on weekends and later on you won't want me in the house for a whole week " so she couldn't complain since she wasn't the one paying for the bills but since she trusted him alot she could only let him work like he wanted, but tonight everything is going to change she thought but with a look of determination on her face.
