Chapter 2: Work
Haru was panting as he realize that he would be late for his meeting if he didn't wake up from his alarm that he had set. He still needed to go back to the city in time if he wanted that job that pays well.
He was a college student but it was a vacation.
He wanted to find a good job this vacation to save up money, if he saved up money. He could buy a lot of things that he wanted.
"Please don't be late.." He said while tapping his foot on the train, he was fully decked out in a suit with his papers inside his suitcase. He looked to be very professional if other people judged him.
This was one of his abilities that he had gained over time. It was fashion sense, the ability to look decent even if your ugly or average looking.
But that didn't matter if he didn't get the job.
He kept tapping his foot on the ground as he glanced at his watch time and time again hoping that the time would slow down so could make it.
7 minutes later he had managed to make it in time as he panted hard his body Tring to get all the oxygen they can as he was sweating.
He took out one of his weapons in case this day would arrive.
It was a cold refresher, it also smelled nice. What does this do? It colds up the body to he point that you stop sweating. The effects take effect in 1 minute as it needs to cool up your body for it to work.
He sprayed it all over him just enough so that his smell isn't too overwhelming.
The previous Haru that was sweating a lot was now holding his head up high with not even a single sweat on his forehead he felt as if he just took a bath.
He entered the building and made his way to the interview spot.
He took a ticket as he looked at all of the other people that were the same as him holding a ticket, they were probably also invited here as they held the ticket excitedly hoping that they land a job at this company.
There were others that had left the interviewing room as they held their heads low, looking at the ground with some tears on their faces.
He had immediately taken action as he used one of his plans.
Operation SI short for Strict Interview.
From what he had assumed, in his previous jobs in the interview halls where the people where holding tickets to get the interviewed. Those that had left the interviewing area had been classified into three categories on what type the judges are.
1st one was the outgoing judges where everything is fine and you would still get rejected but you would still have a slight smile on your face. This ones were the best.
2nd was the ones that were neutral as they said no and just made you leave. This ones would make you sad.
The 3rd one's where the worst, they would do absolutely anything to destroy you if they deem you as not fit for their company. You would get destroyed so much that you would lose control of your legs and emotions as you would cry.
He thought as he looked at the guards that were inside of the room escort a woman out crying with her legs on the ground. They managed to escort the girl out without any more inconveniences as they both nodded.
"Number 342 please come upfront to get your self interviewed! Make your self known!" The man upfront shouted as he kept shouting his number.
He raised his hand as it was time, it was time to be a character that he had trained countless years into.
His calm and collected character that always manages to pulls it off!
He narrowed his gaze as the previous Haru that was just sitting there no face now turned a bit more handsome it seems.
He was delusional as he thought he got a bit hotter when he was in this mode.
He grinned as he got upfront and handed the ticket, he was led inside. He saw a chair in front of the three judges and sat down.
He looked at the three of them and bowed his head.
They nodded as they started.
"Haru Sanjuu?"
"That is me." He said while maintaining eye contact with the one that said it.
'Good, not nervous.' The three judges judged as they all nodded the same time.
"Why do you want to enter our company?"
"To save up for things that I would need in the future."
'It's an okay goal.' They nodded once again and continued.
"Do you have what it takes to be able to do anything the company asks you to?"
Haru paused for a bit and then opened his mouth.
"I would be able to do anything, but I will not do anything that involves harrasment, sexual activities, and crime. I will only do honest work." He added the last statement to say that he would be able to do some things, but not everything.
'He has self confidence, good.' They all started smiling a bit as they continued upping the difficulty of the questions.
"How long will you be here?"
"It depends on the amount of time the school gives us. I would leave once school has started."
They nodded.
"Do you have any relationships with other people? Perhaps a girlfriend?"
"I do not have one, even though I want to experience having a girlfriend haha." He said with a joke making the three judges laugh a bit.
"Last question, if we were to fire you what would you do?"
"I would accept it and leave after I have gotten my pay."
They all smirked as they signed the documents that Haru brought them.
"Your hired! You will start working next week every Friday in the morning. Make sure to come well dressed and well mannered as you can. Thank you for your time." They all stood up and started shaking his hands.
These type of judges also had a good thing going for them, is that. They will treasure any potentially good workers that they might come across, Haru was lucky that they thought of him as a good worker.
He smiled and bowed his head to them and made his way out of the building holding cards and documents.
He raised his hand up and screamed.
"Lets go!" He smiled happily and walked to the nearest cafe to relax. He had gotten a lot of stress in that conversation he had with the three judges. Luckily he passed it with no problems, his plan had worked.
He bought a cup of coffee and sat near a window seat. For him personally, the seats next to the windows were the best if the sun wasn't shining brightly in that spot.
He looked outside as he saw a familiar face that he saw the other night.
He smiled as he looked at the girl that he found beautiful, she was walking with an orange haired guy that was fidgeting.
Haru started laughing as he wanted to slap the back of that guy, he needed to man up more if he wanted a girl as beautiful as that!
Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.
He shook his head as he looked at the girl and the boy. He smiled and felt that he also wanted someone like that. Walking with you until you got to your house, and the girl cooking you food...
If only the world was kind enough to him.
He sighed as he rest his head on his hand as he watched the girl flirt with the boy.
The girl blushed as she looked away from the boy and met eyes with Haru.
Haru saw that she saw him and he waved while smiling.
The girl smiled as she also waved, the girl left with the boy as he also got up to leave and call it the day.
He had a successful day today.
He got a job, and met eyes with the beautiful girl again.
He felt like he used all of his luck for this week as he sluggishly but excitedly walked to a hotel to sleep in.
He had enough money to afford a room as he settled on the bed and slept.
