49.Eve I am scared.

"why did you call me here?" Eva stared at Liam getting little nervous as she new that he likes her.

"umm....I wanted to say that..umm.." Liam spoked up hesitating. he is little scared as he is standing Infront of Eva who he has a crush on for long time.

"will you do fast..I have to go somewhere." Eva looked at Liam and sighed. "what's the matter?"

"actually I wanted you to cheer up for me in my next match." Liam gave her a hopeful look "please"

"fine..I will come. just tell me when I have to go to see your match" she promised him for cheering him up in his next match.

"thank you so much. then I will wait for you. just give me your number I will add you and text you the time and place." he thanked her getting really excited as Eva promised him to cheer up for him.

"But why me out of all?" Eva asked him a question with a small voice. she knew the answer but she want to hear it from his mouth and she want to reject him in person.

"Because you are really good in cheering up. I saw you today cheering for Eve. ugh.." he coughed getting little embarrassed then he opened up his mouth "Are you both really close?" Liam looked at Eva. he is just wishing a NO from her mouth but her answer made him sad

"yeah...we are really close." Eva spoked up without taking a time. she said this line confidently like she is saying the truth.

"ohh.." Liam got disappointed with her answer. while they were busy talking with each other ambulance arrived their and they saw Nick carrying a girl covered with blood in his hand. Eva's heart starts to beat and ache "No it can't be her..." she tapped in her heart "Eva you are daydreaming. it's not her..." she turned towards Liam who is looking at Nick "is that real."

"what??" Liam got confused by her questions.

"I said is that girl whom Nick is carrying is the girl from before who was distributing meat for you all." Eva spoked up with full of tears in her eyes.

"hmmmm." Liam nods at her. he knew that Katherine is her best friend from middle school.

"...." Eva started to breadth heavily. she ran towards the ambulance crying and stopped Infront of Katherine who is lying unconscious inside the ambulance. she stared at Eve with her teary eyes "how did this happened?"

"She fell down from stairs." Eve puts his hand on Eva's shoulder to make her ease "she will be fine" As Eve tries to ease her, tears started to flow down like a waterfall. Eva puts her head down to hide her teary face from all. Students are standing around the ambulance with there curious face.

Nick laid Katherine inside the ambulance on the stretcher and he himself sat on the bench holding her hands. Nick is really scared. scared about loosing Katherine. he doesn't want to get separated from her. "Kath please be fine." Nick kissed Katherine's hand softly.

"I have called her mom and told her about her condition. Eva and Eve you both come by taxi. I will go with Nick in the ambulance." Their class teacher got in the ambulance saying this. Eve nods at him and the door of the ambulance got closed.

"I will call the taxi." Eve stopped the taxi for them and he put Eva in the taxi then he himself got inside. Liam just stared at them from far and sighs "looks like I loose her this time too."

On the way to city hospital , Eva's tears are not stopping. she is shading tears putting her head down. Eve looked at her getting worried about her "Eva stop crying. look at me." he kept his palm in her cheeks and raised her head up cleaning her tears.

"Eve I am scared" Eva started to cry out loud looking at his worried eyes. Eve pulled her towards his chest giving her a warm hug. she cried in the whole way as much as she can.

Taxi stopped Infront of the hospital and both of them got out of it. Eva's eyes has became red because of crying too much.

"you OK" Eve stared at her red and puffy eyes.

"hmmmm.i am fine" she nods at him and got inside. they both walked towards the reception.

"hello. can you tell me where they took the patient who just came now and she is student. her name is Katherine." Eva spoked up fast without wasting her time.

"they took her in the ward no 17" a beautiful receptionist spoke up looking at the list of name who is admitted just now.

"thank you" thanking her Eva and Eve ran away from their towards ward 17. when they reached Infront of the ward they saw Nick and their class teacher sitting on the bench getting tensed.

"Nick.." Eva walked towards him "what did the doctor said?" she questioned him getting really scared.

"doctor said their is nothing to worry about. she will be fine. they are cleaning her wounds."

"oh thats so reliving." she sat on the bench taking a deep breath of relief with Eve.
