26. I have my ways....

Eva returned back home from school and walked inside of the room. she threw her bag on the bed while getting inside the washroom to take a shower. she head out after a while wearing her casual cloth , a over size t-shirts and a stripe pajama. she grabbed her phone and walked downstairs with her wet hair "mom...mom" she searched for her mom in the kitchen.

"what happen ? why are you calling out my name?" her mom walked out from her room.

"I am hungry..... please feed me something" she speaked up like a 3 year old baby.

her mom laughed at her childishness "ok ok no need to act like a baby. I will make a noodle for you and Maddy."

"thank you mom you are the best. love you." she gave her a sweet smile getting happy.

"hmmm. no need to be so much cheesy" her mom head towards the kitchen to cook noodles for Eva and Maddy.

Eva turned backwards and walked upstairs towards Maddy's room and knocked at the door. Maddy open up the door for her and smiled suspiciously "what..... are.... you.. doing here?"

Eva gave him a devilish smile while leaning at the side of the door playing with her nails "do you remember last time you promised to do or give me anything I ask for doing your girlfriend's makeup."

"I remember" Maddy smiled forcefully.

"so I am here for that. I want you to repay me" she smirked at Maddy making him scared.

"what do you want?" Maddy speaked up Little hesitating.

Eva laughed looking at him "I don't want much, just want your ATM card for shopping for fresher's welcome."

"what? my card. why don't you ask dad for money?"

"I want it from you not from dad" she smiled looking at her brother's tensed face.

"ok fine. but don't use too much money hmm." he head inside returned back holding his ATM card with his gloomy face. he started to hesitate to give his ATM card to Eva.

she smiled while snatching his card from his hand "don't worry I will not use much." she winked at him."now come downstairs , mom has made noddles for us."

"hmmm you go I will come afterwards..."

"ok as you wish" she turns around and walked away from their.

"this girl, she will definitely make me beggar someday." he sighed looking at Eva from his room "poor me" then he closed the door and got inside.

Eva get downstairs and sat in the sitting room with the bowl of noddles. she turned on the TV and started to eat noddles while watching a movie.

"what are you watching?" Maddy arrived their eating his noddles and sat in her side.

"once upon a time" she increased the volume getting intrested in the movie.

"I have watched this movie before. the ending is really sad." he speaked up chewing noddles.

"don't talk and eat.And also let me eat and watch peacefully." she speaked up giving him a dead glare.

"ok. I will not talk now." he focused on eating without spitting a word from his mouth.

Time passed by and the sun sets welcoming the darkness. Eva was laying down in her room. she is feeling sleepy after having a heavy meal. she dialed Katherine's number and after a few ring she picked up her call "hello Eva"

"I have called you to tell you that tomorrow we are going on a shopping for fresher's got it." Eva speaked up in her sleepy tone.

"yes boss..." Kathrine laughed at her.....

"fine then see you tomorrow at city mall." Eva speaked up smiling while almost closing her eyes.

"Okay. but after that you have to come with me in school for decoration. we are not done yet. tomorrow is holiday but we have to plan to do it tomorrow also."

"ok. then see you tomorrow." Eva hung up on her while closing her eyes like a cute kitten.

In Eve's apparent he returned back from his work and kept his bag in it's place. he then walked towards kitchen and took out a cup noddles from the Almirah pouring a boiled water in the cup. he took out chop sticks and head towards the sitting room holding noddles and chop sticks. He sighed and thinks for a while about today's incident and then starts to eat noddles. their is a total silence in the apartment. All lights are not on and their is a darkness in his room. Eve stood up and threw the cup in the dustbin while getting in his room. he held a horror book and started to read it laying on the bed. His phone buzzed and checked the message. it was from Nick "let's go for shopping tomorrow. send me your address."

"this brat." saying this he kept back his phone. Again his phone started to buzz and again it was a message from Nick "if you don't want to tell me your address then it's fine i will find you...I have my ways"

Eve sighed and texted him while giving up "Dream house apartment no. 789."

his phone buzzed again "thanks I will be their. see you..."

Eve threw his phone and started to read again peacefully.
