the eerie joke

Morning 7:00

Shaye was waken up by his mother but wanted to keep sleeping however was forced up as he remembered how he needed something done in school.

The usual morning greetings and quiet breakfast but no birds were chirping as this wasn't a fairytale meaning Shaye is not a prince.

The clock was ticking and Shaye was about to go to school but was stopped by his younger sister for a quick joke.

"Knock knock"

"What?"

"Crow"

"Crow, what?"

"CrowBAAAR!!!!"

The joke of his younger sister did not amused Shaye but instead bore him as it was uninteresting.

Shaye finally got to school but the joke of her younger sister still lingered inside his head on loop.

The joke felt like it had an eerie ominous however Shaye focused on his studies more than some random joke his younger sister had said.

Shaye was now eating lunch alone however saw a strange thing occurred outside the windows as a flock of crows were flying past the school carrying a crowbar.

Shaye stared at the direction of where the flock of crows were flying towards silently with a blank expression on his face.
