The Loner - the happening

When Dean opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was total destruction. Buildings and streets, even ground cracks everywhere. Luckily, he survived, the impact he got from the car, didn't hurt him as well as pushed into the nearby paddy field. He woke up in the middle of the night, there were fires burning everywhere, the streets had no lights, the entire city lost its light. But this was not just in his place. But half of the earth suffered the same fate and no one knows for sure that what is happening and the cause of all this earthquakes.

He looked at his hands which were covered in blood, his bones should have broken as well as his ribs. But strangely enough he was fine even though he was hit by a car. Den stood up and looked around the surrounding but he didn't find any people not only people but also every living thing on earth just disappear suddenly as if they were never exist from the first place. The houses were empty and the buildings which survived the earthquakes were lifeless. In fact, the so called 8 billions people on earth suddenly disappear.

The school he left, the so called home that he lived with his family were all just dust, that didn't survive the earthquakes. He was so shocked that he screamed as loud as he can, in a form of hope that he could see other person alive if there was one in existence but sadly there was none. After losing hope to find people, Den decided to live in this so called lifeless world and survive by himself hoping that one day, he will find a way or a cause of all this happening and he named this world, (THE EXANIMIS).

Den first went to the hospital to gather medical supplies, in this dangerous world, diseases and infections can kill everyone no matter how strong you are, smart you are or pretty you are, no one can live without medications. Although Exanimis was deserted, strange things happened everywhere, time flows became abnormal in some places and strange creatures appeared as they swallowed everything into their mouths.

Exanimis - Lifeless world - only a deserted place where the time logic is not invincible. It is horded with strange creatures, and plants, where no human exists and only filled with dusts.

Strange creatures series

Nemisis - the creatures that only live in exanimis, they can be consider as living things but they are not bonded by life and time. They are products of space expansion, and they are able to freely move from one place to another in a instant, their bodies much look alike that of a cheetah and their tail can cut through the so called space dimension. They have strong jaws and they eat everything that can be considered energy.

Rapax - they are the creatures that doesn't have definite shape and can transform to anything, they can suck vital energy out of the plants and they are invincible. They usually feed on the plant energy so they really like and sensitive to living things. They are like a parasites which feed on the host to grow stronger and bigger. Their bodies emit light and they really fond of radioactive substance.

Den found the med-kit at the hospital and he found the truck still useable in the military base. He brought hot weapons and ammunition as well. He decided to head to the west because he heard a whispering "Head to the west, you will find your answer there."

The more he came out of the town, the more the surroundings looks like a scene that came out of fantasy movie. The plants were different and they were all different one way or another from his memories. There were a lot of difficulties on the way as he suffered from high fever and other infection diseases.

High Fever - After leaving from the town, the surrounding temperature suddenly drops and strange particles started to roaming around. Den accidently breathed those particles in and he started to get high fever, the only thing he could do was to endure the pain, as he was suffering from hallucination and frequently heart attack but every time it happened, he tried not to lose his consciousness, wavering in the choices between giving up and not, his heart stopped beating, as his consciousness was slowly fading away, he again heard a whisper, "You can't die yet, there are a lot of things waiting for you, you have to fulfill your duty as well. Well, you have potential, i will lent you my strength."

Den opened his eyes, he was in his car, in the middle of nowhere, a huge cloud of mist with the size of the continent was waiting ahead as if it was blocking his path. After waking up, he was starting to feel changes all over his body, unlike the other days, his body was light and strong, his height increased and there were cracks all over his body, they were glowing with a faint light. All of his five senses were enchanted and there was no more head ache bothering him for a long time. His strength multiplied and in the same time, he could breath the strange particles as if it was normal, on top of that, the more he breathed in, the better he felt. Without thinking straight, Den decided to follow his instinct, he walked into the mist as if something was calling him, after walking for hours, his body started to get super heavy, the atmosphere got heavier and heavier, he saw nothing but mist and again, his feet kept walking even his mind and body long reached its limit. Den started to breathe heavily,

Den: (breathing heavily), (breathing heavily), I can't see anything, hard to breathe, my body and brain don't get enough oxygen and I am starting to get tired as well. I really want to sleep. I have come a long way, I don't know where this is nor how to get to my normal world either.

And then, something again whispered into his ears, "Don't give up", "If you want to save the one you love, if you want to become stronger, if you want to change your destiny, follow my words" "Prove me that you are worthy for being my successor".

Suddenly, his mind was clear as day as if he realized that he could get out of this hell, where unknown creatures are wondering around and strange plants exists, "I have to go back to my family, I have to take care to my sister, I haven't let my mom and dad know that I love them with all my heart". His eyes couldn't open, his arms and legs gave up, his heart beat became as slow as that of a turtle, but he kept going as his undying will keeping paddling him up in the middle of the mist.

He couldn't count days, hours or minutes, thousands of hours, days and nights were spent and he couldn't get the end of the mist or to the point that someone was calling him. His eyes were Crimson Red, he barely kept standing as he gathered his strength to walk on step at a time. His mind was about to brake apart, as his five senses were screaming all the time. But Den didn't lose his hope and will to keep on walking, but his body was that of a human so even if Den didn't give up, he eventually lost his strength as if it was leaving slowly from his body.

Finally, he felt nothing from his body, his eyes suddenly went dark while all of his five senses were shut down. Den felt nothing but warmness, as if he was floating in the middle of the space, "Where am I?" "I was about to die, didn't I?" "No, i can't give up, my family is waiting for me to their rescue" "fuck" "fuck" "fuck"

"So, you have passed my test, barely but you have strong will enough to success my place". This time, it is not whispering anymore , it is as if someone is talking direly into their head, and he feels like he is in the hall.

Den; "Where are you?" "I can't see you" "Who are you?" "How can I go back to my home world?".

"Look up!"

Den looked up and saw only darkness, but he again took a look, but carefully. Finally, he saw something enormously huge with size of the moon, far away up the sky. It has a weird shape and has a eye in the middle of its body.

"Finally, we meet, the chosen one".

"I was looking at you from the beginning and I wanted to know whether you passed my test or not"

"After all, for your beings, living things, life is the precious out of all you have."

"Well, you passed the trial, and now it is time to introduce myself".

"I am the Queen of the parasitic race and the thing that you are looking at now is only a fragment of my body." Millions of years ago, my host planet got thrown into their race's game, the God Race."

They are the ruler of the universe, and their power is limitless. They considered us as their pawn on the chess plate and made us do what they want in their ridiculous game. My planet was filled with peace until they come, we were blinded by the power and strength, they offered, in their deals, but the cost of that great power was destruction. My planet and people suffered the same fate and eventually we were destroyed, greed and power can't be together no matter what it costs.

Now, my chosen one, i will give you my strength and power but can you afford the cost of it?
