11 Pride

The next day, Kuma remembered that he had set a few traps in the area earlier that day. He had been hoping to catch some fish for dinner, and he figured that it was worth checking on them to see if he had had any luck.

So, he set off through the forest, following the trail of twine and small flags that he had left to mark his traps. As he walked, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of catching a few fish.

As he approached his fish trap, Kuma saw that he had indeed caught something. He carefully reached in and pulled out a small, wriggling fish.

Kuma grinned in satisfaction as he added the fish to his basket. He continued to check on his traps, and was pleased to find that he had caught a few more fish as well. (use analyze here:)

River Carp

~Carps have elongated, streamlined bodies with large scales and a distinctive, humped back. They can grow to be quite large, reaching lengths of up to 4 feet and weighing over 50 pounds. This one is still a pisquick though.

Kuma was impressed by the Carp and he was excited with what he can catch next. He then proceeded to gut the fish and tie it up his waist.

Other traps weren't so lucky though. There were some that was triggered but caught nothing, others remained completely untouched. He fixed these traps and tried to improve it, he left a bit of fish meat in some, hoping for a better catch as he moved on.

But as he approached the last trap, Kuma was surprised to see that he had caught something much more unexpected. A baby Squabbit - a mix between a rabbit and a squirrel - was writhing and struggling to escape the trap.

Kuma hesitated for a moment, wondering what to do. He knew that the Squabbit was a valuable creature, but this one was still very small. But at the same time, he didn't want to let it go.

He hesiateted, but in the end, Kuma decided to release the baby Squabbit and let it go on its way.

"I'll definitely eat you if I catch you again, run!"

He watched as the small creature scurried off into the forest, grateful to have had the chance to encounter such a cute animal. Unfortunately as he saw the animal scurry off, he then heared a big thud on a few meters away from where the Squabbit ran off, he had a bad feeling about this.

Lo and behold there was a 3-meter black bear with protruding fangs that'll make you feel petrified. Kuma's heart pounded in his chest as he slowly backed away, trying not to startle the bear.

But the bear seemed to have other plans. It sniffed the air and fixed its gaze on Kuma, growling low in its throat. Kuma knew that he had to act fast if he wanted to get out of this situation alive. He reached for his Tough Bear Bone Spear, preparing to defend himself if necessary. But as he drew closer to the bear, he saw something that made his heart skip a beat.

There, tucked between the bear's paws, was a small Squabbit - the same one that Kuma had just released from his trap. He couldn't do anything as he saw the bear munch on the baby Squabbit, the head was torn from its body, he heard a bone-crunching, chilling sound as the bear continued to chew the animal's head as if it was mocking him, it then smiled.

A cold, mocking, smile.

Kuma felt fear and frustration, but most of it was anger. He definitely felt that the bear was doing this to provoke him, to show him that it was the dominant predator in the forest, he was scared, his skin tingling and all of his hairs were standing.

But beyond fear he felt another emotion. It was anger and humiliation.

As if the bear was telling him that he was no match and he can do the same to him anytime.

This anger, it felt like it washed over him and what he felt was a feeling he never had before.

It was rage.

He gritted his teeth and charged at the bear, his Tough Bear Bone Spear raised high.

"You overgrown dog!"

As Kuma faced off against the massive grizzly bear, he felt fear and adrenaline coursing through his veins. He knew that this was not just a fight for survival, but a fight to prove that he was no longer the same push-over and he had to give it his all if he wanted to emerge victorious.

The bear roared and lunged at Kuma, its sharp claws glinting in the sunlight. Kuma dodged and swung his Tough Bear Bone Spear, trying to strike at the bear's vulnerable spots.

The bear swiped at him again and again, its powerful claws tearing through the air. Kuma darted and weaved, trying to keep out of reach of the deadly claws.

But no matter how fast he moved, he couldn't seem to escape the bear's grasp. It hit him a few times, each swipe narrowly missing its target as Kuma dodged and darted.

Kuma felt fear and frustration, but most of it was his rage. He couldn't believe that this bear was trying to attack him, to kill him and claim what he trapped as his own.

"Come on, you son of a bitch!" he shouted, his voice filled with determination. "I'm not going down without a fight!"

The bear roared and lunged at him again, its massive jaws snapping inches from his face. Kuma dodged and swung his spear, trying to strike at the bear's vulnerable spots.

The bear made a large swing at him, Kuma barely dodging, it hit the tree with a large thud, almost and almost broke it. This bear was definitely powerful.

As the fight raged on, Kuma couldn't help but feel a sense of self-doubt and fear creeping in. This bear was massive and powerful, and Kuma knew that he was no match for it in a fair fight.

But he refused to give up. He knew that he had to protect his life and his pride, no matter what the cost. So he fought on, using every ounce of strength and skill that he possessed.

As the battle raged on, Kuma's mind raced. He knew that he had to use all of his resources if he wanted to defeat this bear. So he activated his "Analyze" skill and focused on the beast.

Taunting Grizzly Bear

This massive, ferocious bear is one of the most formidable predators in the forest. It is known for taunting it's prey and other predators. It is also known for its powerful jaws and sharp claws, which it uses to hunt and defend itself. This particular bear seems to be particularly aggressive and territorial, it can get really frustrated itself when catching some elusive prey.

Kuma knew that he had to be careful if he wanted to defeat this bear. He couldn't let it get close enough to attack him with its jaws or claws, or he would be finished, he also knew that time could be on his side, he could try to dodge as much as he can and enrage the bear to make it's attack patterns simpler.

So he kept his distance, dodging and weaving as he tried to get in close enough to strike. The bear roared and lunged at him again, but Kuma was ready this time. He sidestepped and swung his spear, driving it deep into the bear's shoulder.

The bear roared in pain and rage, thrashing and clawing at Kuma as it tried to shake him off. But Kuma was ready, he attacked and then dodged as if in pattern, the bear grows increasingly angry as time went off.

He also remembered his Spears special characteristic, in can induce bleeding if it hits the same spot over and over. With the help of his spear and quick movement, this hit and run strategy seems to be working slowly but surely.

But as he fought, Kuma couldn't help but worry about his stamina. He had been dodging and weaving for what seemed like an eternity, and he knew that he couldn't keep it up forever.

The bear roared and lunged at him again, its powerful jaws snapping inches from his face. Kuma dodged and swung his spear, trying to strike at the bear's vulnerable spots.

But as he fought, he could feel himself growing tired. His movements were slower, his reflexes not as sharp as they had been before. He knew that he had to finish this fight soon, or he might not have the strength to continue.

With a fierce cry, Kuma charged at the bear one last time. He swung his spear with all of his might, driving it deep into the bear's chest.

"AHHH!!!!" Kuma cried with all his heart.

The bear roared in pain and rage, thrashing and clawing at Kuma as it tried to shake him off. But Kuma held on tight, gritting his teeth as he fought to keep his grip on the spear.

And finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the bear fell to the ground, defeated.

With a sense of relief he fell down to ground, exhausted.

He tried to regain his strength but as he looked at himself, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. He was covered in dirt, blood, and sweat, and he had a lot of scratches and a few broken bones. He knew that he had pushed himself to the limit, and he wasn't sure if he would be able to make it back to camp on his own.

"I did it," he muttered to himself. "I finally defeated the Taunting Grizzly Bear. But what do I do with this now?" Looking at the Bear's body.

Kuma knew that he needed to get back to his makeshift shelter and rest. But he doesn't want to waste his prized kill.

He had a sudden idea, he decided to hide the bear's body near the river, he saw a hollowed tree trunk, covered it with leaves and branches, he then used the muddy soil to further hide the bear's body. He figured that he could come back for it later, when he had regained his strength.

It was hard work, and he was still bruised and battered from the fight, but he was determined to get the job done.

As he worked, Kuma couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had faced his fears and emerged victorious, and he was determined to make the most of his hard-won prize.

"I'll come back for you tomorrow," he muttered to himself as he finished hiding the bear. "I'll make sure you don't go to waste."

With a sense of determination, Kuma turned and began the long, difficult journey back to his makeshift shelter. He knew that he had a long road ahead of him, but he was ready to face this big task tomorrow.
