Prologue

A young man, about the age of 18, lay in his bed, staring up at the ceiling. That young man is Hiroto Kazuhaya.

He's looking at the ceiling thinking of nothing.

You could say that he felt a little lonely, he liked novels and games a lot and so he has less time for other things.

He fell into his bed without bothering to change his clothes.

He tapped his phone and began reading his favorite novel's latest chapter. He sighs once as he puts his right arm on his forehead.

The world was so bland, monotonous, unlike the games, novels and manga that had an exciting background and settings.'

"I don't even know... haah~ I feel like I live in a wrong world..." Signing once again, he just lay there and after finishing the latest chapter he turned off his phone and closed his eyes to sleep.

"Crap, if only it was as easy as games I have played." Overcome by the sense of sleepiness, he starts dozing off and immediately falls asleep.

On a lonely night in a small room, a glimpse of a white dazzle flashed in the night sky before disappearing.

Meanwhile, Hiroto's bed began to be covered in a line of black ink without his knowledge. The bed was suddenly flooded with light.

---

A human silhouette can be seen passing through many layers of pitch black darkness. The human figure appears to dissipate like a wisp of light, and it passes everything unnoticed, mysterious.

"Where am I?" Hiroto was engulfed by darkness hopelessly walking without any direction — as if he was aimlessly looking for something, his subconsciousness telling him to find a beacon of sorts inside the depths of darkness.

He continued traveling, unsure of how many days had gone. Then, out of nowhere, a small light shone across the edges of his vision. He was like a moth that had discovered the most beautiful thing in the world, a light, no matter how far away he was.

Hiroto began walking faster and faster until, without realizing it, he was already running. The small light began to become larger and larger.

"UVUVUVU"

Hiroto hesitated to move forward after hearing the sound, but the light turned towards him. As if it were the eye of a beast eyeing its prey. The two beams of light turned red as in the shape of a rattle snake's eyes, as though it was staring at him with bloodlust. As the lights sped towards him, the sound of footsteps could be heard.

"What?!"

His mind tells him to run but his body won't listen to his brain, as if shaken by fear. He felt so little under that bloodlust.

After a few seconds, the lights began to close in on him, and he impulsively decided to turn back and begin running.

The ground began to tremble, as though accompanied by the unknown pursuer. Hiroto didn't know how he managed to move under such pressure, but he was relieved that he was able to try, even if it seemed pointless, to get away from it.

'Run! Faster! Run! Don't stop! I don't know where it's safe but I'll keep running!' —- He told himself.

Albeit, the red lights keep getting closer and closer to him as it suddenly jumps in front of him where they were 5 meters apart. – When he saw the monster with the glowing red eyes, he was stumped.

The monster in the description glows in appearance revealing its aggressive and towering features in front of him. It was 2 meters tall and a few centimeters taller than him, with arms and legs that resembled those of a human, but its features were quite different from those of a typical human.

"A goblin? What's that!?" – Hiroto muttered, his heart suddenly filling with creeping anxiety. His heart began to race, as if warning him that the beast in front of him was an enemy and that he needed to flee to safety.

Yet, he was rooted in the spot, unable to move an inch.

Hiroto had the feeling that the beast was intelligent, as if it had heard him. Suddenly, it started mumbling in a language he didn't understand.

"I-I don't understand."

The monster with a hulking appearance he called a goblin fell into a silence but then spoke again. Nonetheless, what it said was gibberish nonsense that couldn't decipher nor could he even begin to understand.. "What is he even saying? Maybe he is friendly?" —- he felt a little hopeful as if he had been given a string of life to hold, he was still scared but...

If it can understand me, maybe, he steeled himself and asked "I-I do not know what you're saying but do you know where's this place and h-how to exit this place?" – not looking at the goblins' eyes..

The goblin fell silent and looked at him, sensing the look of the monster unconsciously made him look towards its eyes. Despite its look, its eyes were bright and clear, as if it belonged to an intelligent species.

The ground rumbles which he thought was coming from the goblin before, but it was getting stronger.

Hiroto fell to the ground, on the other hand, the goblin looked so sturdy and didn't fall nor budge in its place.

The whole world felt like it was shaking non stop, he didn't even know what to do nor try to think about the appearance and the weirdness of the monster in front of him.

.

The hulking goblin began looking towards a direction — it spoke in its language as if warning him of something.

Hiroto felt like it was telling him something important but he was unable to understand any of it. "What is it?!" Hiroto couldn't see anything far within the darkness that was enveloping him, the only light that he could grasp was coming from the goblins eyes.

Shaken under the monster's warry behavior, Hiroto began to look around. Then in an abrupt moment, the goblin suddenly charges towards him and grabs the back of his collar and runs. An explosion was heard in a moment.

The ground they were just before exploded. Then a sky piercing roar can be heard. "What's happening?!"

The goblin kept on running while holding him on its shoulder. Hiroto heard a roar coming from behind them, it was getting closer, it was emitting a strange aura that made him tremble nonstop, it didn't compare to the goblin at all.

The goblin is trying to escape the area but they are too slow compared to the unknown that was chasing them.

Hiroto couldn't understand why he was being helped by the unknown goblin, he couldn't forget the goblins' intimidating aura when they met and yet another monster was approaching. What was happening was totally unimaginable to him, he was scared everything just felt surreal and dreamlike, wishing he could wake up to this nightmare.

The monster chasing didn't leave a light, as if it's invisible. Hiroto cannot even see a strand of hair on it. The goblin suddenly throws him and stops moving as if ready to fight the monster that was chasing them.

Hiroto on the other hand feels like he was thrown far away and falls on the ground ragdolling hurting his back. "What the fuck is going on!"

When he recovered himself, he saw a red light suddenly fly across the pitch black darkness as if it was a fly slapped by a folded newspaper. The silhouette of a monster appeared and dashed right in front of him as if wanting to devour him.

"ROAR!"

All of a sudden a bright light engulfing the darkness shines and blinding him and the monsters. The monster could barely see its dark silhouette dashed and roared to the blinding light in front of him filled with hatred.

Covering his eyes frustratingly said, "What is happening now! Why is this light suddenly blinding me to death!"

The monsters quickly vanish under the blinding light. Soon, he heard an ethereal voice that left him paralayze in place.

"Wake up!" the girly voice said. He4r voice was like a chime bell that eases the mind and soul whoever hears it.

"--- Wake up! This is not a place you should be right now!" she said.

Hiroto wanted to look at the silhouette that was in front of him but it was too bright so he could only see the glimpse of an ethereal and godlike appearance of this person. He was suddenly overcome by a sense of sleepiness.

As his consciousness left his body, her voice still reverberated in his mind never wanting to forget ...
