41 Capitulo 39

Chapter 39 Aunt Vera!

Besides what ben said earlier, an old man with his head hanging low to the ground, and now an old man with super-human agility is to say, there are at least two rare creatures in this town!

The surrounding people slowly passed by the old man who did the back flips, they were not surprised at all, but complained about the water.

"Why did you break the water pipe?"

"Get to work and figure out a way to bury the water pipe in the ground."

Looking at their behavior, they seem used to it!

As the RV got further and further away, Bryce, like Ben, watched every movement of the group of elders with their faces close to the window.

The old men seemed to have superhuman strength and buried all the water pipes very quickly!

Up to this point.

He can rest assured!

In this city, I am afraid that more than half of the residents, or even if it is exaggerated, almost all of them are strange creatures!!

It's impossible for normal people to have such superhuman abilities!

How is it that so many of them arrived at the same time and no one found them, but if they were few, how did they multiply? Unless... they can transform other people into a member of their species.

I'm afraid maybe Aunt Vera...

When Bryce thought of this, his expression became more serious and he secretly pondered, "If it's one or two of those creatures they might be easy to deal with. However, if there's an entire city, at least hundreds of creatures… "

Ants kill elephants, much less creatures with strange and super-human abilities!

Using four arms he could defeat many, but hundreds of them would end up wearing him down until his transformation was finished.

This is complicated!

"Bryce? Did you find anything?" Ben looked at Bryce expectantly. Maybe bryce could find something.

Bryce revealed his observations and his own theory. This information made Ben start to turn pale.

Are you kidding?!

Hundreds of creatures inhabiting a town?

"Bryce, how sure are you that at least 90% of the people in this town are strange creatures?" Max, who had been listening to everything, couldn't help but ask as he drove.

"I'm kind of sure. How about we turn around and come back more prepared later?" Bryce asked tentatively.

"But…" Max was stunned for a moment, a little embarrassed, "your aunt Vera may not be one of those creatures! We have to get her out of here."

Let's get her to a safe place and then slowly solve the problem of these creatures! "

It is not easy to have a family.

"Okay you're right."

This is bryce's answer.

Then, instead of maintaining the lazy state they were in on the way to town, they were 100% vigilant, and even ben and gwen helped him keep an eye on the surroundings.

Fortunately, these humanoid creatures kept away from them on the way, only gave them a cursory glance, and showed no difference to the common elders.

The RV drove all the way to Aunt Vera's front door.

Aunt Vera, an elderly grandmother with a body similar to Max's, was standing in the doorway, she seemed to have been waiting for a long time, a warm smile on her face.

"Looks normal" Bryce unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the RV with Max and the others.

As soon as they met, Max and Aunt Vera had a little chat. Aunt Vera also greeted ben and gwen, prepared some small gifts for them, her behavior was no different from normal old people.

She's probably not one of those creatures? Bryce thought uncertainly.

"Who is this adorable boy?"

Aunt Vera's eyes fell on Bryce, obviously a little surprised.

"This is Bryce (I accept suggestions for his last name in the comments), but you can call him nephew if you want", Max put his hand on bryce's shoulder.

Bryce also showed a kind smile and politely said, "Hello, Aunt."

"Haha, what a cute boy."

Aunt Vera said kindly.

"Okay, let's not talk anymore here, everyone has been standing outside for a long time and they must be hungry, I still have to prepare lunch," said Aunt Vera

Aunt Vera pushed the door open for him, "Come on in, everyone, and have a good time."

"Haha, Vera, your culinary skills are amazing, I must let my grandchildren taste your food!" Max entered the room with an expectant smile.

Ben's body shuddered: "Culinary skills that Grandpa likes...ug!"

He is going to vomit.

"Also, we need to know if Aunt Vera turned into one of those creatures," Gwen said quietly, looking at Bryce.

"At the moment she doesn't look like it."

Bryce gave an uncertain reply.

"Why haven't you three come in yet?" Aunt Vera asked.

"It's nothing, let's go inside now!"

Bryce immediately reverted to his polite and courteous appearance, entering the house with the same habitual behaviour.

Seeing him enter, Ben and Gwen also entered.

"boom!"

After everyone entered, Aunt Vera gently closed the door.

The moment the door closed, shadows appeared on the grass in the distance!

A/N: The MC doesn't remember the original plot very well, he doesn't know that the creatures are shapeshifters, he just knows that the town is inhabited by superhuman humanoid creatures that stretch and maybe can transform other people into members of his kind.

Thanks for reading and could you please suggest surnames in the comments, I can't think of any that go with bryce
