Chapter 2

Here I was over his shoulder, unable to talk and unable to move.

"Who the hell is that?" Asked a voice unknown to me. "No idea. I just found her wandering around." Answered the man carrying me. "Well put her down then and let her speak." Spoke another different voice. Putting me down he said "You may now move and speak." Suddenly, as if I'd just been snapped out of some hypnotism, I could move and I let out a huge breath. "So," asked one of the voices belonging to whom I did not know, "what are you doing here and who the hell are you?" I did not know what to say to these people, how could I know if I could trust them? "I'm Tilly Clark..." as I said that, it seemed to dawn on all of them who I was. Were they expecting me? Did they know why I was here? "Oh, sh*t! She doesn't know," said yet another voice from behind me. I turned and there were 5 more boys standing there. 7 strange people stood around seeming to know who I was and what I was doing here and I still didn't know anything. "What do you mean? You know why I'm here?" I asked almost scared of the answer. "Ummm, your father... he kind of sold you to us... well not us technically but our father who gave you to us as a gift..." What the hell was he on about? "Okay, you're insane." I commented, this couldn't possibly be true -- could it? "It's true," said another of the boys. "Why on earth would my dad do this to me? And why would you want me?" The answer to my question shocked me to say the least: "We needed someone to drink from," with that the 7 boys all in front of me now flashed their teeth -- not normal teeth but fangs. Their previously purple eyes now were silvery white with night-hued pupils. I started swaying, the world going dark, a million thoughts flitting through my head. I couldn't take it anymore, I fainted.

I woke up in an unfamiliar bed. Where was I? Oh, right... the strange boys -- no the psycho vampires -- they bought me... I was dressed in a man's shirt. This posed a whole new bunch of questions such as where are my clothes, who changed me, why did someone change my clothes. Recalling all the boys faces, I realised something that previously I hadn't, the boys... their faces were all so similar -- they must have been brothers or at the very least cousins but how could they be brothers? They were all a similar age looking at them but who knows? They're bloody vampires for gods sake. I groaned. What the f*cking hell was I going to do? Get out of here! I need a plan of escape... when I had made a plan, I slowly opened the door willing it not to make a sound. I, silent as a mouse, crept down the corridor simply searching for a route of escape. The doors were all closed as I continued down the corridor until I reached the only open door in the corridor. Music was being played in the room. A bass guitar -- the same instrument that my dad played, my real dad. It was amazing! I couldn't help it, I looked inside. The boy who found me -- the one who had made me mute and unable to move was the one creating this fantastic music. "Oh my god..." Crap! It just slipped out. He most definitely heard that. Just as I was about to leg it down the corridor, hands grabbed my hips and pulled me into the room. "Well, hello again. Now, what were you doing going down that corridor all alone?" I was scared out of my mind. I stayed silent. "Were you looking for a way out? Hmm?" Petrified, I stared at the ground. He got closer and I stepped back. He kept getting closer! My back hit a wall. His magnificent purple eyes clouded over and went silver again -- just like before. I knew what that meant, his fangs were out. He smiled, well more of a smirk, flashing his vampire canines. "I'm hungry..." It was such a simple statement, how could it make me feel this scared? His mouth inched closer to my neck, his teeth grazing along it. The world was going dark again, or so I would have him believe. I pretended to start to faint. He stopped instantly and held me around the waist just before I hit the ground. "Hey now, I haven't even started yet." I kneed him in the balls and ran for it. "Oh b*tch! You're going to pay for that!" Three more of the vampire brothers stood down the corridor. Pushing them out of the way, I kept running. They pursued me. I reached a large ornate door that was obviously the front door and way out and pulled as hard as I could. It wouldn't budge. "Dammit! Open! Please, please, please." I had broken into sobs now, the desperation of my situation getting to me. "There you are," called one of the brothers. "It won't open you know," said another. I gasped, hyperventilating. "Carter, Ryan, Zachary, Kaiden! Leave the girl alone," the other two brothers appeared by my side. "But Damien, we just wanna have fun! And besides, what do you think dad gave her to us for?" Ryan, the black-haired brother, said, I had now discovered that he was the one that controlled me. Kaiden was blond and stood beside Ryan. Carter who had blue hair, stood on the other side of Ryan. Zachary stood on the other side of Kaiden and he had mint coloured hair. Damien, the brother who prevented the others from doing god-knows-what to me, had peach coloured hair. Anthony had purple hair and had helped me calm my breathing down while Damien was talking to the others. I gripped Anthony's arm to steady myself as my bison blurred. I couldn't keep myself from fainting. Anthony put one arm under my back and the other under my knees. Everything went black again.
