1 "Drunk is an understatement"

A wise man once said, "Good things happen to those who wait." I lived on that philosophy until I realized that the guy was bullshitting me and he couldn't be more wrong.

I studied business for two years and graduated from college 8 months ago and I'm yet to find a damn job.

I groaned as I stretched out on my grandma's couch scrolling through Netflix. I guess this is my life now.

Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath before opening them again to clear my mind.

I squealed when the first things I saw were 2 big brown eyes right in my face. I fell off the couch and stared up at the evil culprit. She grinned as she held out her hand to help me up.

"Thanks for almost giving me a heartattack Cloey."

She smiled, "You're welcome and a party is going down at Jerry's tonight." I stared at her blankly secretly hoping that she will pick up my uninterest and go without me. "So, what are you planning to wear?" she continued.

I rose a brow, "Who told you I was going anywhere?"

Cloey chuckled, "That's not your decision babe. Jerry is my boyfriend and you're my bestfriend making him your...."

I gave her a puzzled look, "Lets just finish that sentence there Cloey." She looked at me with hopeful eyes, "So, you're coming?." I sighed as I nodded.

She gave a small cheer as she ran upstairs. I tiredly followed behind her as she flung clothes everywhere in my room.

After about 76 outfits tried on later, she had finally found something that she thought looked "suitable".

Cloey skipped happily towards the door, "I'll be back soon, I'm going to get ready."

She peeked her head back in, "That's what you should be doing too so quit slacking." I saluted as I literally dragged my body to the bathroom.

I took a quick shower and got to work on my hair and make up. I went light on my face with just rose red lipstick, mascara, foundation and a touch of shadowy eyeliner.

I straightened my blonde hair and pulled on the tight, black strapless dress and my red stilletos. I looked in the mirror and smiled at my reflection. Not bad, not bad at all.

The door bell rang and I grabbed my clutch racing downstairs.

"Adios, abuela."

My grandmother shouted from the kitchen, "Be safe, sweetie."

I opened the door surprised to see Charlie there. Charlie is my boyfriend and we've been together for a year now. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek, "What are you doing here?"

He wrapped his arm around my waist, "Cloey sent me. She said she had to go ahead because Jerry needed help with some stuff." I shrugged, "Ok, well I'm not complaining."

Our lips met for a short time before we pulled away.

It was a long ass ride to Jerry's place but Charlie kept me entertained as usual. He kept on talking about some dude named Josh he met at the gym that's supposed to be attending the party too. I'm really looking forward to meeting him, he sounds like a nice guy.

The house, or rather mansion was impossible to miss. I was sure it looked like a very classic and stunning building, if you disregarded the loud music as well as the drunk and half-naked people scattered everywhere, grinding on each other.

Charlie wrapped a protective arm over my shoulders as we walked through the crowd towards the living room.

I looked around, I wondered where Cloey was. "Want anything to drink babe?" I nodded, "Yea, a beer would be great thanks." He pecked my lips and made his way to what I can only assume was the kitchen. I sighed as I sat down on the couch.

"Oh yesss harder~" a girl suddenly said from beside me.

My eyes dilated as I looked across from me immediately as a G-string fell in my lap.

"Umm I think you dropped this."

I picked it up and flung it back in the direction it came from. I accidentally and sorrowfully looked at what was supposed to be the guy's dick. I laughed as I stood up, I'm a virgin with zero experience but I'm pretty sure the girl is faking.

I'm guessing you're wondering why I'm still a virgin and I've been with Charlie for a year. Well, its not like I don't want sex cause well you know a girl got needs, its actually Charlie who wanted us to wait until marriage which I think is pretty sweet.

I squeezed passed a naked couple making out on the wall. Huge house and no bathrooms, great.

A guy dancing frantically smoking pot pushed me and I fell through an half open door into a dark room slightly lit by the moonlight from a window.

I groaned rubbing my head as I slowly opened my eyes after hearing the grunts and moans of two men.

My eyes dilated as I recognized one of the men.

"Charlie!?"

Both men looked startled as I stood up getting a better look at the both of them. I blinked numerous times as I slowly confirmed that this wasn't a nightmare and there actually was a man burying his dick in my boyfriend's ass.

"Hi, sorry to interrupt, you must be Josh, I'm Katie, nice to meet you, I'm leaving now, carry on." I have never spoken so fast in my life.

"K-Katie!?"

I ran out as fast as my heels would carry me. But the stairs just had to be a pain in the butt. My foot went in directions I didn't know were possible, but before I could fall, a hand grabbed my arm and dragged me back.

I saw my short pathetic life flash in front of my eyes as I looked down on the trillion stairs to the ground floor.

I was dragged from the stairway into a muscular chest. "Are you fucking crazy?"

I pulled myself from the strangers arms and turned around.

Sweet mother of Jesus.

His mouth was moving ,but I didn't hear a single word he said. All I could focus on were his perfect lips, his bright eyes, his flawless face. Just everything about him was perfection!

I smiled with satisfaction. God you really out did yourself this time. I was snapped out of my trance by his fingers.

" Earth to crazy girl, hello, you're kind of creeping me out right now."

I shook my head as I stared into his piercing blue eyes, "T-Thank you." Why the hell did I stutter like that? I inwardly face palmed myself.

"Katie?"

I looked behind him and saw Charlie, thankfully in clothes though he does look pretty good without them. I sighed, too bad he's gay and shit.

I turned around to leave but my right foot had other plans. I hissed as a sharp pain ran through it the second I moved.

I groaned as I faced Charlie, "Lets talk tomorrow okay? I can't deal with this right now." I looked at the devishly handsome stranger, "Can I ask you a favour?"

He rose his brow, " I'm not beating up your boyfriend for you no matter how much of a pussy he is."

I chuckled, "That's not what I'm asking."

"Who are you calling a pussy asshole?!" I watched as Charlie squared off against Sir Sexy. Charlie tried to look intimidating but the height difference surely was not in his favor.

I went between them and pushed them away from each other, "Charlie please go, I'll talk to you tomorrow, I promise, I just can't deal with this right now." He pecked me on the cheek, "I love you Katie." Tears pooled in my eyes as I watched him walk away.

Oh shit here comes the waterworks. I went in Sir Sexy's chest and started bawling my eyes out. This is all so fucked up. I fisted his shirt as I felt him lift me up taking me down the stairs.

I peeked up at him, "Take me to the kitchen." He looked down at me, "Drinking won't make you feel any better you know." I buried my face again, "Just do it."

I felt us go back up the stairs. "I said I want to go to the kitchen where are we going." He didn't respond, what an ass. He took me to a balcony and laid me down on an outside hanging bed before leaving.

"Where are you going? Oh my god you're going for your weapons to put me out of my misery aren't you. I swear I'm just a bit depressed." He winked, "Maybe". My eyes dilated as he chuckled leaving me alone on the balcony.

I laid back staring into the sky, the glass thankfully blocking out some of the noise from downstairs.

How did everything get so fucked up?

I heard the door open and watched my possible killer come with a black bag. I visibly gulped, " I thought you were kidding, oh god save me."

He chuckled and for the first time I saw the adorable dimple on his left cheek.

"You're such a drama queen, no ones killing anyone." He opened the bag, "I just packed a few things from the bar."

I gasped, "Are you sure alcohol is still left down there." He chuckled and poured out two glasses of shots.

He raised his glass, "To a fucked up life." I smiled and clinked my glass with his, "And crappy relationships."

A few glasses later.

I lost count of the shots of vodka we drank. Us being called drunk was definitely an understatement.

I turned facing him on the bed thing "I know you wanna ask just do it." He turned to me, "What happened between you and your boyfriend?" I stared at him for awhile before answering, " Well he cheated on me."

He sighed, "Damn, was it with a friend of yours?"

"Nope, it was with some guy he met at the gym." His pupils dilated and he almost choked on his drink, "He cheated on you with a guy?"

I sighed, "I should've picked up on the signs, there's no such thing as private extra gym lessons right?"

He nodded as he drank.

"And what kind of guy dates a girl for a year and doesn't fuck her, I fell for that crap about waiting until marriage, a part of me knew it was too good to be true, but the other part of me really wanted to believe him."

I shook my head, " I'm so stupid, maybe I wasn't good enough."

I let out a small squeal as he rolled on top of me.

He brushed my hair from my face, "You're very pretty and you're not stupid, there's no way you could've known he preferred being fucked than fucking."

I chuckled at what he said then silence dropped between us as we stared between each other's eyes and lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck bringing him closer to my face.

I brushed my lips against his, "Kiss me."
