Living to the Fullest in the World of Naruto (COMPLETED)

THIS STORY IS COMPLETED. A young man died, tired of the pain he felt because of sickness, but when he thought that it was over, he met someone who gave him the same choice as everyone else who had no place in either hell or heaven: being reborn. Luckily for him, he is offered one wish, like the others. But be careful, why would you be given memories, a body, or chose the place you are reborn without wishing for it? Let’s wish for something that has yet to be forbidden by the rules and begin a new life in the world of Naruto, by being born in the same era as the Sannin. There is a lot to discover in such an interesting world after all. ==================== Please, read the ‘Author's Note Before Reading’. There is a harem of three, two of whom were chosen by the readers. I do not own anything directly related to Naruto. I only own OCs. The cover image is not mine and if the creator wishes for me to remove it, I will.

Chapter 71

[A/N: I had two negative reviews recently that made my day, but since there seemingly was a word that Webnovel didn't like they were deleted, a pity since I replied to both of them but I can still read them in my notifications, at least.

One complained that it wasn't a harem and that Kushina was not with Mc and insulted me because he 'had' to read 40 chapters to understand that.

I warned who the three lovers would be in the 'Author's Note BEFORE READING' and at the start of an early chapter which means that he should have seen it TWICE... And ok man, I can give you my pokeballs if you want cause Mc doesn't need them, three lovers will make it a harem, and Konan's development can barely begin now that she's an adult.

The second one made a lengthy review with some good critics, but there was one thing that bugged me.

Apparently, Mc is 'girly and cringy' because he... Cooks?

Then I'm proud to call myself a woman cause cooking is such a useful skill to have and nothing to be ashamed of, but combining it with cringy annoyed me.

Such foolishness is mind-blowing.

Anyway, those who are writing honest and not stupid reviews, you have my gratitude, and I have yet to reply to nine of them so I will be doing it soon.

Sorry about the ranting, enjoy the chapter :)]

====================

"I admit that you were tough for a young girl like you, unfortunately, you cannot stop me from getting my precious cash." a man with a rough voice said before dashing forwards, his right hand ready to tear off his opponent's heart

"Konan-neesan, dodge!" a young tearful girl cried out as in front of her was a blue-haired girl with shredded clothes and blood dripping all over her body who refused to move away from here

*BAM*

But before the man could execute her, I appeared and punched him in the face, knocking him back until he crashed into something.

"Yuichi...Sama... I'm glad... I kept Tsugumi safe..." Konan mumbled with a delighted smile before falling on her knees so I caught her and gently laid her down in front of Tsugumi

"Don't worry you've done enough, you can rest now." I replied as I took off my coat and covered her body since she couldn't properly control her papers anymore which were used for her clothes before making a clone that would heal her and finally made a crystal dome around Konan and Tsugumi to keep both of them safe

"Oh? Here came the big fi-" "Shut up." I interrupted the man who got back up from my blow and was sewing his face back while I looked between Tsugumi's frightened face and Konan's gaze full of fondness directed at me

"She will be fine Tsugumi, don't worry and stay close to her, alright?" I instructed as I had a warm smile adorning my face to make her feel at ease since she was stressed

"H-Hn." Tsugumi mumbled as she grabbed Konan's hand before the crystal wall between us thickened so she wouldn't see what was going to happen

"How touching it is to see a father and hi-" "Didn't I just tell you to SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I shouted as I directed my gaze on this bastard and unleashed the entirety of my killing intent while I didn't inhibit even a single fraction of my emotions right now

{I have to run} I heard him thought as he was frozen because of fear and profusely sweated when he looked at me

'You won't run anywhere Kakuzu' I thought before vanishing from the spot, reappearing below him to deliver a groundbreaking punch on the lower left part of his torso, successfully sending him flying upwards as my fist had blood all over it since I crushed one of his hearts

'One' I thought while unleashing my Sage Mode as a black-feathered wing sprouted from my back and dark pigmentations appeared around my eyes and on my forehead

[Here]

I then flew off from the ground until I was above Kakuzu who was still getting thrown towards the sky and delivered a spinning kick at the lower right part of his torso, sending him back towards the ground that I previously changed into a diamond floor by using Crystal Release when I was activating my Sage Mode, staining one of my shoes with blood in the process.

'Two' I thought before diving down just in front of him, kicked the crystal floor to generate a diamond fist aimed at his face that brought him involuntarily back up to face me, shrouded my left hand in lava and my right hand in frostbite before plunging them between the place where his lungs should have been

I then spread my hands outwards, grabbing two of his hearts while dislocating his arms and splitting his upper body in two as a combination of scorching and glacial burns was inflicted to the rest of his body before crushing the hearts with my hands.

This didn't produce a single drop of blood as it was either melted or frozen before dripping down.

'Four' I thought before unsheathing Masamune, making it quickly rotate until I was holding the hilt with my two hands and then shoved the sword into Kakuzu's torso before expanding the blade, hurling Kakuzu into a large tree trunk that was growing in the meantime

'Five' I thought as I retracted Masamune while his last heart was held by the tip of my blade and Kakuzu's body was hanging on the tree trunk in a cross-like position thanks to the branches

I then generated a white orb in my right palm while I held my sword with my left hand and threw the orb towards the tree, making it expand on contact, disintegrating Kakuzu and the tree on a molecular level.

Lastly, I took the heart that was hanging on my sword and used Suijin to absorb it and the blood that was staining my body before sheathing Masamune and ran back towards Tsugumi and Konan as my wing and black pigmentations vanished.

Making the crystal dome disappear, I was glad to see that Konan's most serious injuries were suspended by my clone and suddenly got tackled by Tsugumi who hugged me while mumbling "I-I was scared dad, and K-Konan-neesan she... She..."

"It's alright now, Konan's health is stabilized but I have to bring her to Tsunade at the hospital... Now could you tell me why you are not with your professor, your class, and the four Jōnin assigned to protect you all?" I said as I rubbed her back and glanced at Konan who was resting with her eyes closed

"W-When the mean guy arrived, he killed the four Jōnin and I quickly realized that he was aiming for me so I left the group to keep my classmates safe." she said as she calmed down within my embrace

'Today was an outing day for her class, I knew that and asked Konan to watch over her, I just didn't expect someone to be tasked with assassinating Tsugumi' I thought as I did sense the class far away from here

This didn't mean that Tsugumi would have been in danger if I didn't appear now as I made several precautions for her if she was to be deadly threatened.

I was more amazed that Konan, who knew about those protections, was ready to die so Kakuzu wouldn't even be able to reach past a meter near Tsugumi.

'Maybe not as surprising since I heard her conversation with Tsugumi while my clone was healing her' I thought as I glanced at Konan's face again before saying "Let's go to the hospital, I will send my clone to your classmate to warn them that everything is over now."

"Hn." she mumbled as she got off of me so I could carefully carry Konan before teleporting the three of us to Konoha

Appearing right in front of Tsunade inside of her office at the hospital, she was shocked to see me here but quickly recovered from her surprised state when she saw me carrying Konan with my coat covering her while Tsugumi was holding my leg with reddened eyes because of her previous crying outburst.

"Bring her to the room next door." Tsunade said while getting up as she didn't want to waste any time asking questions since she didn't know how serious Konan's current state was

Following Tsunade, we entered an empty operation room and I laid Konan inside the bed while Tsunade took off my coat from her to look at her injuries.

"You already stabilized her condition... Minus the superficial wounds, she has a great chance of internal bleeding around her stomach if we don't stitch the injuries properly, and she has a great deprivation of chakra too." Tsunade explained as she examined Konan before turning towards me and asked "Bring me my tools, I will take care of the internal wound while you supply her with your chakra and put her in a state of anesthesia."

Nodding, I did as I was asked and grabbed the plate where all the medical tools were gathered before hearing Tsugumi ask "W-Will Konan-neesan be fine?"

Smiling, I replied "Don't worry, no medical-nin is as skilled as your mother, now stay with Kushina until the operation is over, she just arrived." as I just called for the red-head that stayed inside Konoha to watch over Tsugumi in the meantime

"Hn." she mumbled as she looked over Konan one last time before leaving the operation room as I sensed Kushina and Kurama's chakra behind the door

"Here." I said as I gave the medical tools to Tsunade before moving behind Konan's head, laying my hands on both sides to slowly transfer my chakra to her

My clone prevented the internal bleeding for a while but I didn't have the required medical tools to take care of the wounds which couldn't magically close just by using chakra, that's why I brough her to the hospital and more importantly to Tsunade since she was the best choice for such injuries.

Nevertheless, I concentrated on making my chakra slowly flow inside her whole body while keeping my eyes closed, all while giving it a numbing property so she wouldn't feel any pain while Tsunade was operating her.

It took nearly an hour for Tsunade to close all the wounds since Kakuzu used his threads to create many small and deadly internal injuries around her stomach, but thankfully they were now all closed.

Now that Konan was saved, and after covering her with a sheet, I took the time to explain what happened to Tsunade and ended up declaring "He will pay for this."

Tsunade then silently approached me and took my hands before asking "You're not going to destroy their whole village are you?"

I was surprised that she knew what I was thinking of doing without saying anything else so I explained "I thought about it... But Tsugumi would hate me if I did. She's still too kind and naive."

"However, Ōnoki is going to regret what he did, you can be sure of that." I added as Tsunade was slowly rubbing my hands to keep me relaxed

"You're already finished with Suna?" she asked as she looked up to meet my eyes

"Almost, they lost the Third Kazekage and the One-Tail Jinchūriki... Their surrender is just a matter of time." I explained as everything happened successively

"I'm glad that this war will be over soon." Tsunade said as she hugged me for a second while looking at Konan resting on our side before adding "I know that you are still busy so I will watch over her, just go and inform Tsugumi that Konan's fine and that she can come in."

"Alright." I replied before giving her a quick peck on the lips and then left the room as I saw Tsugumi diligently sitting on Kushina's lap, worrying waiting

Before Tsugumi could ask anything, I declared "Konan is safe now, you can go and see her." which made Tsugumi jump out of Kushina's lap and dash inside the room

'This girl' I thought with a smile before hearing Kushina say "Tsugumi told me what happened, now I understand why Kurama was acting weird a while ago."

Raising my eyebrow, I asked "What?"

"You know how perceptive towards emotions Kurama is, right?" Kushina said to which I nodded "Well, he sensed your anger and killing intent even though it was far away and started acting like a scared puppy, I can't deny that it was funny to see him like that but now that I know why it happened it's... Wrong from me to make fun of it."

I was certain that Kurama was yelling at her to stop embarrassing him since I saw a tick mark on her forehead which meant that he ended up saying something he shouldn't have.

"Since Kurama is listening, I need him to take care of his rebellious younger brother, Shukaku, at least until he's capable of listening to me without damaging my ears." I asked since Shukaku truly was a pain in the ass as I even sensed my clone's distress when he interacted with him

"He said that he didn't mind giving him a small lesson." Kushina replied in Kurama's stead since she didn't want him to take over her mind right now as he would get his revenge for her previous teasing

"Thanks... Both of you." I replied and unconsciously patted Kushina's head like I used to do when she was younger

When I realized what I was doing, I took off my hand before getting punched by her since she no longer wanted me to treat her as a kid and said "Ah- Sorry, I just couldn't help it, old habits die hard."

But instead of being angry, she replied "It's fine, I... I also missed that feeling." while smiling and hiding her embarrassment behind it as much as she could

"Pft, it's more because Minato isn't here so I'm not embarrassing you in front of him." I exclaimed as a chuckle escaped my mouth but was quickly interrupted by a punch towards the guts which I parried so the corridor wouldn't get blown away

"Alright, alright, sorry about that." I said as I raised my hands in surrender to stop her rampage since her hair started to magically float and some fire was somehow burning behind her head

"Hmph." she pouted as she crossed her arms and turned her head to the side, though I saw a subtle smile for a moment

"Anyway, it's time for me to get back to work. See you later, Kushina." I said as I already knew what to do to make Ōnoki feel miserable

He may not have any grandchildren for now, but I'm pretty sure that his son, Kitsuchi if I remember correctly, take part in the war and may have already impregnated his wife since Kurotsuchi is supposed to be born around next year.

A pity both of them won't even see her birth.

====================

[A/N: So I have a question.

Since in the canon most of the main cast were born soon after the war ended, a logical post-war 'baby boom', and in my story the war (though it's not the same war) is going to end almost three years sooner, you don't mind if somehow they are born around the same time as in the canon so I prevent potential inconsistencies, or should I make the whole cast birth arrive sooner which means that they will be slightly older than their canon's equivalent but stay the same characters we know (with a few acceptable changes in both cases).

If I was realistic and took the butterfly effect to its maximum, none of the children should be the same as in the canon since a single second of difference during lovemaking would technically give birth to someone else, but if we, authors, had to do so in our fanfictions then we are pretty much writing an entirely new story and damn would it be difficult and easy to mess up.]

[Also, I will update the status page once the war arc is over since Mc gathered a lot of things.]

Done.

Shorter chapter (~2k3 if the notes aren't taken into account) but I had to end it here.

As always, if you find grammatical mistakes, please comment.

Thanks for reading and I hope that you enjoyed it!
