Purifying Qi & Getting Close (part 2)

Jiahao, sensing the qi flow from Wenmin's house, went out of his house to look in Wenmin's house direction. As if he saw something astonishing, his eyes were opened wide. Those who use martial arts and have the talent to gather qi, of them can distinguish and see the qi of other people.

Right now in Jiahao's eyes, it was as if he was seeing a pure white light faintly glowing from Wenmin's house. The colour of qi is different depending on the owner's soul. Seeing a white qi means that the owner is pure without any malicious thoughts or hasn't done anything bad in his life.

As a martial arts user and a soldier, Jiahao has met many people. He has seen so many different colours from the blackest of the blacks and the nearest colour to white was blue. It was his first time seeing a white qi.

As he was staring, the image of Wenmin's face appeared in his mind. Seeing how the youth honestly and truthfully lived his life, really shows that he may be a pure person. Or he is just not tainted by the bad things in life, yet.

Whatever it is, his interest in Wenmin is getting bigger. He remembers seeing the rich young man who visited Wenmin before. He heard that Wenmin was able to establish a working relationship with that man by supplying vegetables to him. If he didn't win Wenmin's heart or trust now, there will be many more people who wanted to get Wenmin.

He must not let that happen. Now, will we be able to see how a great general of the kingdom device his plan to conquer a young ger's heart? What method will he use? Do remember our Jiahao has never been in love and never express any interest before this. Can the two people who are novices in love be able to succeed?

Jiahao went to sleep with a smile on his face. His plan to get close to Wenmin will start tomorrow. Proper rest is what he needs now. After crossing a few states to get to his village, he didn't get any proper rest. The need to settle his problems and also the problem with his relatives will not just stop after he gained his land and house.

Chen Jiahao woke up early and went to his field. Since it's been a long time had he not do any fieldwork, it is best to learn from the start. He asked help from the village head and they both went to the field together. Uncle Yichen's field is close to Jiahao's field as his parents bought the land that is close together.

He learned everything that he needs to know about farming from Uncle Yichen. Although Uncle Yichen is the village head, he is still a farmer. One must not forget about their roots and farmers are people who feed the country. Even in the hierarchy, farmers are at a much higher level than merchants.

While he was farming with Uncle Yichen, there were a lot of people who were looking at him. The old women in the fields were looking at him as if they are looking at a precious gem. JIahao started to feel like he was the prey and not the predator.

One auntie went to talk to him when they were having a break. She inquired about his love life and love interest. Jiahao knew what they wanted to do and told them that he is interested in someone from the village and will be marrying that person once he agreed.

No one knew about the mysterious person except Shihuang, Xinyi and Wenmin. He plans to tell Uncle Yichen when everything is in the right order but looking at how much interest has he garnered for himself, it is best to tell him now to avoid any future matchmaker coming to his uncle's door.

When they finished planting the crops, Jiahao went to Uncle Yichen's house to tell him about his wish to marry Wenmin. "Uncle Yichen, I would like to be honest with whom I want to marry. This is best to avoid people bothering you in the future." Jiahao said when they settles down inside the living room.

The village head looked at Jiahao's serious face. He knows that it is time for his nephew to marry and surely the person he picks must not be wrong. "Tell me ah boy! I will do everything I can to make you guys marry."

Seeing as how he got the approval of Uncle Yichen, "The person whom I want to marry is Li Wenmin. I know he is an orphan and my marrying him is not entirely related to his Ama. I am also very interested in him. I met him once and also said to him that I would like to marry him. We agreed on getting to know each other first."

The village wasn't surprised to hear that Jiahao wanted to marry Wenmin. It is a given that his nephew would want to marry someone young and energetic, but given the circumstances of Wenmin's background, he doesn't know if the family of Wenmin's Ama will cause trouble or not.

"Jiahao ah, uncle didn't mean to discourage you. You must have heard how Wenmin separated from his family. I was even impressed by him but his Ama family is not good. They might create trouble for you later." Uncle Yichen said, looking at Jiahao earnestly. He doesn't want his nephew to live in a troublesome environment.

"Aiya! Uncle, you still don't know me? If they dare to make trouble then don't blame me for paying them back. Let's see what trouble they can cause here. I will be sure to protect Wenmin and myself. Don't worry oh." Jiahao knew that there will be problems in the future but he doesn't want to give up on Wenmin.

Where else can he find a great ger who can support himself, plus Wenmin can also use qi. Not a lot of gers can do what Wenmin does, even the nobles' ger sons couldn't do what he does. Jiahao looks confident in himself. How can the great general cannot protect the ones he is in love with?

Looking at his resolution, the village head could only sigh. Jiahao should be with Wenmin than with other people. At least there will be no troublesome in-laws and surely Jiahao will live with Wenmin than at his own house. Wenmin's house is also at the end of the village, fewer people went there and their lives will surely be happier without people bothering them.
