'Well... that just happened.' I think to myself as I contemplate why I died, keyword being "died", past tense.
That's right, I, Rey Takami, died, but I'm no longer dead and I'm now in a different body.
'This is like those fanfiction novels... Woah!' I run over to the mirror that was leaning beside my bed (One of those human size ones)
'I'm....I'm.... So, Gawdamn, HANDSOME' I look at myself and notice my new features, I have short black hair that's spiky, a singular black piercing on each earlobe, smooth white skin that makes me look like a K-Pop star, and beautiful blue radiant eyes.
??: "REY COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR BREAKFAST!" A familiar-yet-unfamiliar voice shouts this body's name, which coincidentally, has the same name as my old self.
"Coming!" I go down the stairs and sit at the table, where I see 'my' mum washing her hands and taking off her apron, and 'my' dad sitting across me reading a newspaper.
Mum: "Rey, are you ready for your new school?"
"Yes, I'm very excited, but also a little nervous" 'New school? Must've been what happened to the previous owner of the body before I took over... wait, what happens to the people that knew of 'me', but I don't remember them since I've taken over this body?? And also, isn't this meant to be the moment where I get a DING and then something in my mind says-'
{DING! System welcomes the new host}
{DING! Would host like to gain the memories of previous host?} (Previous Host=Previous person in the same body before MC took his body)

Mum: "REY!!" Out of nowhere, she puts her face right next to my ear and screams in my ear.
"OWW, WHAT WAS THAT FOR??" I reply pissed, I mean, who wouldn't be?
Mum: "You weren't replying the first 5 times so I had to resort to this. Now, why were you zoning out exactly?"
"Sorry, I was just feeling sick, Imma go to my room real quick" I walk up the stairs, to my room, to which my parents look at each other worryingly.
-In the Bedroom-
I virtually pressed Yes in my mind, and the next second my head starts hurting, so much that it felt like it was about to blow. I bite my lip super hard and clench my bed sheets so that I don't scream and attract even more unwanted attention.
Every second I would see a clip playing in my mind, it seems there's a few from my childhood, some of the important people I've met, who my parents are, who I am, etc.
A few minutes later in real time, but what felt like an eternity to me, The pain stopped.

{Understood} The system fortunately listens to me and finally stops the dinging sound, honestly it was getting super annoying, it wasn't a quiet ding either, it was a super loud one, I'm surprised I'm the only one who could hear it.

{The abilities isn't what you think, well sort of, although you're not in a world where you need abilities such as time manipulation or whatever, you may still be able to get it, but that obviously depends on your luck, you can get skills by getting lottery tickets from doing quests, but a skill isn't guaranteed, you can get anything at all, whether it's an item, an ability, a device, anything you think of, you can get}

The wheel spins once again

The wheel spins for the final time, for some reason, it feels as if this spin is the most intense and it feels as if the pressure of the room has increased a lot, kind of like spiritual pressure.

Well, that was pretty anticlimactic. I look at my Current Status after receiving all my quests and using all my lottery tickets and smile in happiness at everything I've got: A handsome face, a good fit body, the system, everything.

"Well, no, because it's my body now, so, no" I don't get why the system would say that, I'm clearly as straight as the straightest thing in the world, whatever it is.
