17 CHAPTER 17 - MIRACLE STORE

"So, what do you all think?" Jonah asked.

He had just told them all about his plan to create a store.

"Great plan, Dad!" Chao clapped. Everyone nodded along with her words.

"Haha... Okay, then! Let's go to our soon-to-be-created store!" He motioned for them to follow.

Walking along the crowd was a small group of 8 people. At every step of theirs, a new pair of eyes were attracted to their position. The group attracted too much attention!

At the front was a handsome young man, with the brightest blue eyes and sleek white hair. At his side was a buffed old giant, whose height towered above everyone present, even Ordo who was 7'2 was smaller than Noire. Behind him were 3 badass men and 3 otherworldly gorgeous women.

"Jesus Christ! Who are they?" A person in the crowd shushed.

"I don't know, but I'm getting some Main Character vibe from them, bro... especially from that one in the front!" another said.

"You're right... are we just background characters in their eyes?!"

As some people among the crowd were having existential crises, Jonah and his family quietly walked towards a nice street right beside Central Park. It was none other than the 5th Avenue.

Placing a simple command to his next actions, he made it so the people and the cameras nearby wouldn't be fazed by the sudden appearance of a new store.

Done with the preparations, he got on to creating his store.

Envisioning an 800 squared feet establishment, Jonah decorated the walls with several beautiful artworks, added a nice and comfortable wooden floor, a counter with a computer, and a few glass displays in it.

He also added a bathroom, credit card machines, and everything needed in a normal store. Yes, he added a credit card machine. Did money matter to him? Hell no. Then why ask for payment? Because he could.

Done with the store's inside, he moved on to the exterior. Creating 2 big glass displays on the right and left sides of the door, Jonah placed 2 modern automatic doors in the middle.

Finished with everything, he finally created it. He altered reality a bit to make it be in a nice spot on the street. Naturally, due to his previous command, all of his actions went unnoticed by everyone and everything.

Entering the store with everyone, a cozy, ancient, and natural smell entered everyone's noses.

"Ah... even the smell is cozy..." Jonah sniffed the air intently.

"This seems appropriate." Noire gave his two cents.

"Yep. Now we just need to add some products and we're ready to open!" Jonah excitedly said.

"Papa... can I talk to you for a minute?" Vita called Jonah to a corner. She was unusually weird.

Arriving at a deserted corner, Vita spoke. "Papa, can I go somewhere else? I don't really want to stay here. From the information you gave us, this universe seems very cool!"

"Aw, little Vita, of course you can! I'm glad that you asked me and didn't hide your feelings." Jonah replied with a warm smile. "Come here," he gestured for her to follow.

Walking back to the Primordials+Noire, Jonah spoke, "Little Vita here has told me that she wants to wander around this universe instead of staying here in the store. Naturally, I told her she could. I just wanted to ask you all if any of you share her feelings? There's no problem if I'm the only one staying in the store. I want you all to have fun too. I can imagine that being in this whole new unknown universe must be a nice change of pace."

"I would like to see what this universe offers, Sir!" Ordo respectfully said.

"Me as well!" Tempus also spoke.

"If it is alright with you, Father, then so would I!" Locus kneeled down.

"Alright! You are all free to roam around as long as you like. You can all also come here whenever you want. Contact me if there's any trouble. Have fun and stay safe!" Jonah said his goodbyes to Vita, Ordo, Locus, and Tempus.

Before long, the 4 of them disappeared in a portal created by Locus.

"So, looks like we're the ones left," Jonah said to Noire, Chao, and Mortem. "Well, it's no problem. We won't even need to do any real work here anyway, since most of the time will be spent chilling."

Jonah expanded the size of the store inside by a bit, making it reach 1000 squared feet. It still remained 800 squared feet from the outside, though.

Creating a nice little relaxing spot in the additional space, Jonah added a couple of expensive sofas, some TVs, gaming consoles, a couple of gaming pcs, and 5 vending machines that had a ton of snacks, drinks, and candies.

"Most of our time will be spent there," Jonah pointed to the newly created relaxing spot.

"This is very interesting..." Noire said after spending some time observing all the mysterious stuff around him. From TVs to PCs, Noire was surprised by all of it.

"Now we need some products!" Jonah said to himself.

He needed his store to be a completely unique one. He wasn't going to make a simple clothes store, or gaming store, or anything like that. He was going to make a store that would have impossible to exist items. A store which will have no competition.

For the first item he created, he went for something that would entice everyone, no matter the social status.

Inside an indestructible glass of square on one of the shelves was a small green pill. Sitting on a small cushion inside the glass, the pill seemed completely unusual. In front of the glass display, though, was the name and description of the item.

[Name: Money Pill]

[Description: Gives the eater an infinite amount of money, be it cash or credit, dollar or other.]

"Haha... genius! Looking at it straight like this, it seems like a dumb and no-brainer choice. But here's what will make most, if not every potential buyer stray away from it."

[Price: 99% of potential eater's wealth.]

Meaning that for a man with a 100 billion dollar wealth, this pill would cost 99 billion dollars. It made it fair since the one who was crazy, or desperate, or courageous enough to spend 99% of his/her wealth would be greatly compensated.

Looking to the side of the pill, Jonah spotted 2 normal dices inside a display equal to the Money Pill's one.

[Name: Multiplying Dices]

[Description: If both dices land on the same number, whatever the user wants will be multiplied by the number on the dices. Only works on inanimate objects, but not on the dices themselves. 1 roll per 72 hours (unstackable). E.g: Both dices land on the number '4' and the user wills a nearby $10.000 stack of cash to multiply. Instantly, the stack of $10.000 will become 4 $10.000 stacks.]

[Price: $1.000.000.000]

"That's a nice one... very much worth the price!" Jonah commented after reading about the dices.

Walking away from this shelf, Jonah arrived at an item that was standing out from the crowd. It stood inside a small podium in the middle of the store.

[Name: Death Note]

[Description: A simple black notebook with a deadly twist - any being whose name is written in the note dies.] (A/N: changed from any human to any being because it's marvel.)

[Price: $80.000.000.000.000]

"Thank you Death Note anime for giving me this idea!" He said. "Due to the ludicrous price tag, there won't be a lot of people that can buy the items inside this store... Tony Stark and Prince T'challa are some of the few who will be able to. The Death Note will probably only be 'affordable' to T'challa. Not actually affordable because 80 trillion dollars must be a large portion of his net worth, but the man can still buy it."

He walked around the store and checked out some of the other items that he created. He didn't personally create all of them, instead, he just willed some cool objects with magical or supernatural effects into existence. He made them all appear in their little displays on the store, with all of them already having a good description, ability, name, and price. Some, like the Death Note, were personally created by him though.

"Being omnipotent sure is a lazy existence..." He sighed.

As he read through the items' descriptions, he saw that some of them had simple abilities, such as a pair of shoes that enabled the wearer to fly at low speeds or a compass that pointed to your literal soulmate. The item and price range of the store were really varied. Some objects cost a mere $100, while others, like the Death Note, were in the trillions.

"Does any of you want one of our products?" He asked the 3 people who had their eyes on him from the corner - Noire, Mortem, and Chao.

"I'd like to have the Celestial Necklace." Noire straightforwardly said.

"Alright," Jonah walked to the item of choice.

[Name: Celestial Necklace]

[Description: The wearer of this Necklace will have their physical and magical abilities multiplied by 10x.]

[Price: $499.999.999]

Removing the Necklace from its glass display, Jonah quickly created a duplicate with the same effects and placed it where the previous one was.

Handing him the Necklace, Noire grabbed it with extreme caution and carefully placed it on his collar. Although he was more relaxed around Jonah than all of the Primordials, he still respected and revered him, so his creation needed to be handled with utmost caution.

"Thank you, Jonah." Noire nodded after feeling the increase in his abilities.

Now, the already strong-as-shit Noire was 10 times stronger. His magic, physical capabilities, and pure magical power were so strong that a glowing white aura surged around him after he placed the Necklace, alerting some people all over the world.

Quickly gaining control over his increased power, Noire made the aura disappear.

"No problem. Chao, Mortem, what would you like?" He turned to the gorgeous siblings.

"Death Note, please. I think it goes well with my position." Mortem, Death itself, said.

"Chthon's Grimoire, Dad. Thank you," Chao bowed a little.

"Okay, wait a second." Jonah heard them and went to retrieve each item.

He removed the Death Note from its display and created an exact version of it again to replace the last one.

Walking to one of the items that were displayed at the entrance, Jonah arrived at Chthon's Grimoire and read its description.

[Name: Chthon's Grimoire]

[Description: The Grimoire of Chthon, an Elder God and Arch-Demon who used Chaos Magic to manipulate, warp, and reconstruct the very fabric of existence and reality to his whim.]

[Price: 1 page - $189.999.999.999.999.999 | Full book (1792 pages) - 99% of your and your soul's lifespan - unchangeable even with the highest level of Chaos Magic.]

*whistle*

"I doubt anyone will actually buy even one page in forever, but that's a nice book." He did the same process as before with the Grimoire.

Jonah walked back to the Primordials and handed them their items of choice.

Handing the fully black Death Note to Mortem, Jonah spoke. "That's a nice choice, Mortem. It sure fits you!"

"Haha... thank you, Pops." Mortem chuckled and accepted.

"Yours is great too, Chao. I'm sure that, even though useless to you, it will be fun to study this Grimoire!" He turned to Chao and gave her the dark red book.

"Thank you, Dad!" She picked up the book with a bright smile.

"It's no problem!" He smiled at them, "So, are you guys ready to open up the store?"

Everything that the store needed to run was already accomplished. The only thing left was to give it a name and open the doors!

"Certainly," Noire said.

"Let's do it." Mortem added.

"Yep!" Chao also agreed.

The 4 walked to the store's doors, and as Jonah was about to touch the "on" button on the wall, he stopped.

"We forgot the name!" he said, "What's the name of the store?"

Everyone stopped with wide eyes.

"Uhh..... how about [REDACTED]?"
