Chapter 6

It seemed that my extravaganza hadn't gone unnoticed by the class since they were still joking about how big the teacher was at the end of class. I hoped that none of the girls got any funny ideas. He wasn't supposed to have any memories of when I was occupying his body so I was good there.

In the first few minutes after I had left the teacher's body, he stumbled around from the slight high I had graciously gotten for him. He actually almost fell over before he found his chair. I assumed he went back to watching the x rated videos and I did have to admit that he had some good taste; I had recognized the video that he was watching from when I was still alive. Every night I had conducted rigorous 'research' to find the videos that most suited my tastes. Turns out that I was actually quite the popular guy on those types of sites. I was praised for my in-depth reviews and meticulous break downs. I even earned the nickname 'Eros' from the god of hornyness or something. I probably could've started a cult or something and made some real gravy but whatever, life goes on and the choices we make are set in stone for eternity. Unless of course, you have a time machine in which case I definitely would've gone back, started a cult, and then not died like a piece of roadkill. Now, if I was rich, I would buy a ton of cool sh*t, probably mansion with a home theater so I could watch anime on the big screen, also a car that can transform into a boat so that I can drive through the moat that surrounded my mansion. As I was daydreaming about what could've been I awoke my sharingan. Well, not really but I realized that this girl that I was attached to was hella loaded and I had the super-ghost powers so that meant... I COULD BUY SH*T WHENEVER I WANTED. I could easily just possess Zoe and order stuff online. Whatever I wanted... Whatever. I. Wanted.

"That's it!" I'll buy her a friend!" The brilliant idea came to mind.

Wait. That's not legal. But I think I'm on the right track.

I eventually gave up on my search to purchase friends and went back to procrastinating.

Lunchtime came and Zoe sat eating her extravagant lunch by herself in an empty classroom. I noticed the classroom was kind of unusual; the computers were much nicer than the ones in other classrooms and they sat In front of swivel chairs with cushions instead of ordinary chairs. A tv was placed in the middle of the room that was at least fifty inches big. Footsteps sounded outside the door. The door swung open and a boy entered the room. He was slender with disheveled brown hair and had a face that looked like he was having the best day of his life. He noticed Zoe sitting there and had a confused look on his face.

"Um are you here to join? Or are you just eating your lunch?" He says.

"Oh sorry I was just looking for a place to eat my lunch," Zoe responds flatly.

"Oh, well this is actually the club room for the gaming club but it's totally fine if you eat your lunch here," he says cheerfully "I was actually just going to eat my lunch so can I join you?" He said as he was already sitting down.

"Oh, um okay," Zoe says quietly before taking a tiny bite out of her sandwich.

"Wait a second... is this... a friend!?" I thought. Wow, I am the luckiest unlucky person to exist. An annoyingly handsome extrovert shows up at the perfect time and in the perfect place.

"So what's your name?" The boy asks.

"My name is Zoe."

"Oh wow really? My name is Zack, haha both z's that's cool. So are you really here just to eat your lunch? Or are you interested in our totally awesome club? Just kidding there's no way a beautiful girl like you would want to join our club."

"What kind of club is it?"

He immediately had a huge smile on his face, "it's the gaming club! It's so cool; we get to travel and go to competitions. Also, we get to play video games! We play after school at lunch even sometimes before school. But this place is also a good spot just for hanging out."

"That's... pretty cool I guess."

"Do you play video games by chance?" He asks the most important question in the story.

"Y-yes I do," she seems very embarrassed to say it.

"Wow really!? I would have never guessed."

The conversation kept on for a while mostly with Zack bombarding Zoe with questions and persuading her to join. He told her that there were 2 other members now that the seniors had graduated and they needed one more member.

I had found the holy grail. This club will definitely be my nirvana.

"I-I'll have to ask my mother first," she said when l Zack asked if she wanted to join.

Zoe left the room after lunch with a slight smile on the edge of her lips after Zack had given her the form to join the club. Maybe she wasn't hopeless after all. They seemed to get along pretty well and I hoped that Zack's extroverted personality would help bring Zoe out of her shell.

During the final class of the day, I noticed Zoe staring down at her phone screen with a grin. She had her contact list open and was staring at the name 'Zack' since he had given her his number earlier. She must've been happy to have her first friend at school. Well, maybe not a friend yet but close enough.

The butler looking guy came to pick up Zoe at the end of school and I was curious as to what Zoe's mother had to say that was so important.

We arrived at an enormous skyscraper in the middle of the city. We breezed through security with everyone welcoming Zoe as if she were their boss. The elevator door opened and Zoe stepped into a large office with a woman sitting behind a desk. She looked like a typical businesswoman except she was ten times more gorgeous. She also had a shape look in her eyes and did not bat an eye at Zoe's arrival.

"Hello dear, you look absolutely beautiful in that new uniform," the woman said

"Hello mother, you look well," Zoe said without meeting her mother's gaze.

The atmosphere was very awkward and they sat in silence for a few moments.

"Yes well, I called you here for a reason. You see the Taylor family is having a little gathering and I would like for you to be there. Ms. Taylor has been asking about you and I think it would be a good idea for you to make an appearance beside me." she explained.

"A party!? Why do I have to go?" Zoe complained.

"You are my only daughter and I want you to become acquainted with a few of the people attending. It is a very important part of your upbringing in this family."

"But I don't even know these people! And why do I have to become acquainted with them!?" I'd never seen Zoe so openly opposed to something before.

"You WILL be at this party" her voice made me feel like crawling up into a ball. She was terrifying.

"Ok, but I will only go if you sign this for me," Zoe pulled out the piece of paper that Zack had given her and handed it to her mother.

"What's this?" the read over the paper, "Gaming club? You're still doing these childish things?" She grabbed a pen and signed the paper, "I will have Max send you the details; please dress accordingly." She handed the paper back to Zoe and gestured for her to leave.
