the author of this novel is called Second Brother and the name of it in MTL is Death Inquisitor. you didn't give credits to the owner nor did you say where it was from nor did you say that this wasn't even yours. if you want to plagiarise bro just don't do it to a great work you disgraceful piece of sht. you even have the guts to go premium and lock chapters. I already read this novel when it first showed up on MTL and right now the novel is at chapter 2297 since 2020/12/16 and here I was thinking that it really would get translated but then I found a bastard just plagiarising a great work. you even changed all Chinese named people in the novel. bro in the novel everyone there is Chinese and he wasn't in new york you dumb fck. did you think no one would notice that this obviously isn't your work? did you seriously think that average American people would even know kowtow or even tell other Americans to kowtow to them? did you seriously think that no one would notice your American characters keep speaking the Chinese way? did you seriously think no one would notice how much bullshit it is to have 40 million new yorkers watching a fcking live stream? did you think no one would notice that the people watching the live stream and the way they act is the Chinese way?

low score due the locked chapters after chapter 5, don't know if the author is greedy or something else, but having chaps locked so early on makes keeping up with story hard on a .daily basis, at max one can get 3 free passes, and there are other worth it books that get this passes, I can't possibly invest all only in this book just so I can have enough pleasure reading this chapter.

Amazing... I definitely want to read more...so far it's only four chapters but those chapters are some of the most thrilling ones I've read about... I have to say I'm hooked on this story... I really want to read more on this book The MC looks really interesting and I can't wait to read more on his future escapades... I really like these morally grey types of MC's, not the perfect Gary Stu's or the clichéd villains... I can't wait to see what he will do next In my opinion this book is by far the best pick out of the other nine ones and it should really be picked

TL;DR book completely and flawedly without effort plagiarized [Death Inquisitor] by [Second Brother] Honestly I read a couple of chapterd and found it oddly familiar, beside for example the way character spoke like “i beg the judge to give them death” or other example like the livestreamer supposedly in New York makes a livestream that reached 40 millions people. Instead of just shortening the original chinese chapters they should have just translated it fully and give it the right novel and author name. just changing stuff there and there but leaving obvious flaws like the use of RMB instead of USD as well. All in all it’s a complete plagiarized book giving neither the original book nor author the fame it deserves.

I am so annoyed with many of the reviews. People that obviously did not read even one chapter are saying this is a copy of another novel “Death Inquisitor” and that could not be further from the truth. The only thing these two novels have in common is that there is a judge and there is a system. It stops at that. The whole story, characters, goal, etc. are different from one another. This novel is amazing, please read it and support the author.

heyo crazy cronie here, review on 31/03/2021 @chap27 (released chap till date: 37) review divided in: Short review Long review IMO Ratings Conclusion Warning (includes spoilers) short review: A dark novel with a ruthless mc who loves to tortures only those who are criminals. long review: pros: 1) A completely original story. By original i meant the concept is original. And even if there are something similar to this, to me this is the first time I read something like this. 2) This is a dark novel. Brutal and cruel. Mc ruthlessly tortures people and author describes it. (This can both be a pro or a con depending on readers. To me a pro, coz i was bored of fluffy novels) 3) The only thing mentioned in this novel till now is how mc enjoys Ruthlessly torturing & killing criminals. Yeah no romance, no fantasy... Wait this might be a fantasy given system and all but yeah thats pretty much it... But then again this is interesting. 4) I love the pacing of this novel. Literally the events are not postponed forever and takes place when you need them. When break is needed from all those tortures you get a break, when you need to see the tortured ones, they are tortured. 5) I love how the author mentions the user comments. That's a plus from me. Except for mc everyone has conversations. cons: 1) [NOT REALLY A CONS] As mentioned above this is a dark novel. For people who love light hearted novel... Yeah don't even dare to read this one lol (This depends person to person, for me a pro) 2) Zero character depth. The mc is not explained. Mc shows no emotions rather just a cold expression. Heck how the mc looks we don't even know. Same with other characters, they are introduced only for filling spots. 3) updates, this novel is inconsistent in updates at least till now it is. Only 24 chapters has been released till now but i guess ch/day may remain inconsistent even in the future coz one day its 5chaps while there is only 2 next day and then next day there is none. 4) world building sucks. Nothing is explained. How the mc arrived in this world. Scratch that, we don't even know if this is original earth or a parallel one. I mean what we know is only from synopsis. Where he got system from, what is system, and everything else nothing about the world is mentioned. 5)Little to no character interaction. Almost no conversations. Literally MC has almost no conversations. Even for a loner mc this is a bit too much. 6) Idk if it's the author or TL but there are few mistakes... These mistakes can't be overlooked, for ex *SPOILER* A victim's tongue was cut by MC's methods, but he was still speaking (literally said roaring) with mc... IMO: - More conversations with MC & - a little bit of MC's background reveal will be appreciated.... But then again only 30+ chaps are revealed. RATINGS: writing: 8/10 (con-6) update: 78/10 (con-3) plot: 7.5/10 (pro-1,2&3, con-1&4) characters: 7.5/10 (con-2) pacing: 8/10 (pro-4) dialogues: 8/10 (con-5) entertainment: 10/10 OVERALL: 4/5 Conclusion: This novel has excellent potential! This novel came up as recommendation. I was wondering if I should read it. The plot was different so I thought I’ll give it go. I have to say that I am glad I did. Its very interesting and different. And I enjoyed reading so far. Read 10 chapters. Can’t Wait for more 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
