As he spoke, he bent his arm and extended it to Gwen, offering it as a gesture of escort.
Gwen understood immediately, nodding her head and looping her arm around his.
The feeling of her close proximity had Daniel's mind racing.
He shook his head to dispel those thoughts and looked at Gwen, "Where are we having supper?"
Gwen replied with a grin, "The place I have in mind is quite expensive. I hope you won't mind picking up the tab."
Her face was lit up with an easy smile. Clearly, Gwen was just teasing Daniel.
Leaning towards Gwen's ear, Daniel whispered, "I guess we'll have to see your skills then."
As a staff member of 'Wild Treasure Hunt,' Gwen had access to a private car in Mauritania.
With the convenience of a vehicle, Daniel and Gwen soon arrived at a seemingly decent hotel.
The place was far from shabby but definitely not luxurious.
